I really love this location! The Corona Del Mar location used to be my go-to, but when this location opened up closer to me, I had to give it a try. It's located in the Whole Foods plaza with plenty of parking (which is a huge plus over the CDM location already). The space is a bit bigger than the CDM location as well, and everything is brand new. Staff is all wonderful to work with, and every therapist I've had has been excellent. Overall this is a great location that provides top-tier service, I can't recommend it enough. read more

I used to go to The Now in Silverlake back in 2018-2019 when I had just started my career. I had fond memories of rest and relaxation from that location so I was delighted to see that they opened up in Brea. I made an appointment online and got assigned to Frank. He was amazing and made sure to address all of my problematic areas of my neck and shoulders. He checked in throughout the massage to see if those problems were taken care of. This place is very clean and they have created a very relaxing atmosphere. The place smells so nice and they have candles for sale in their check in area. I loved the decor that felt very bohemian style and relaxed, they had noise machines between each curtained room so you couldn't hear anything else. My massage therapist listened to my concerns about my problem areas and focused a good amount of time on the tension around my shoulders and neck. The parking lot gets busy, however it is located in a shopping center with Whole Foods so you can get groceries right after your massage! I got invited to their friends and family event to celebrate the opening of the 80th location! I was greeted by Molly, the manager and her team. Everyone was so friendly welcoming. I got checked in and picked to add the heat therapy enhancement with my massage. After meeting Desiree, she took me into the crystal room to ask the type of pressure I'd like and if there was any areas I'd like to not be massaged, which I appreciated! She walked me back into a very serene room playing not your typical spa music which made it feel even more relaxing with the ocean waves. Also the smells of coconut and vanilla. When I tried to cancel my membership, they charged me for an additional month and said I could use the credit later through their app. I never received a cancellation confirmation email, and now both credits (including one unused from before) are missing from the app. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I just got out of my 50 minute "The Now" massage with Kira and all I can say is WOW. Kira made sure to ask me what pressure I preferred, what areas I would like to work on and even asked if I was okay with their lavender massage oil. Side note - I love lavender anything. The entirety of the massage was amazing. I mentioned that I would prefer a full body massage but my main trouble area were my neck and shoulders. She spent a good amount of time on my said problem areas but also provided a great full body massage which I appreciate cause some places only glaze over other areas. I felt fully relaxed and a lot of my tension released. The space was clean, smelled great, ambiance was relaxing and was aesthetically pleasing. I want to start off by saying that Moriah is the best! Absolutely loved getting massages from her. What I have an issue with was the membership. I had tech problems from the beginning and it was never resolved. I never received email confirmations. Everything was a text notification. My husband and I both signed up, and I was the only one with issues. I had to cancel an appointment due to a pet emergency and was not given any notice that my credit was going to expire. The receptionist did not say anything over the phone and there was no correspondence. After some time, I called back to redeem my credit, I was told there was a 3 month grace period. Their solution was to offer me membership pricing - so basically $15 off after my $95 credit was no longer valid. Not a fan of their customer service or transparency of their policies. read more

I absolutely loved my experience at The Now Brea. Darshan was my massage therapist and he was amazing. I workout several times a week and use massage as a form of recovery, so I requested The Stretch massage with the Gua Sha enhancement. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. Darshan worked through some knots in my upper back and shoulders and used the stone to attack pickleball pain in my forearms. This massage was exactly what my body needed to enhance my post-workout recovery. As for the facility, The Now is a calm, zen-like space that immediately sent me into relaxation mode.
