I got this as a gift. The experience overall was good. I don't know, in terms of cost if it was expensive or reasonable so I'm going to only talk about my massage. My masseuse was a very nice gentleman who always checked in on me. I prefer harder pressure massage, like a sport massage and he helped focus on the areas that bothered me. I've come here for plenty of massages and it is my favorite place because it's no-frills and super clean at what I think is a great price. I am a little stressball and I come here probably 3-4 times a year (definitely wanna go more though) to get all my knots out and get my back nice and loose after all the damage I do to it sitting all day for my job. I normally go to Nancy but for scheduling reasons I booked a 30-min back massage with Angela on a Monday. It was awesome! I think Angela has a personal vendetta against knots because she was giving her all trying to eradicate every single one on my back. She asked me several times if the pressure was okay, and she still worked on my arms and the base of my neck. With all the work she did, I couldn't believe it was only 30 mins! This definitely makes me feel like I can sneak in 30-min sessions more frequently (I normally do 60-90 min sessions). My one tip is to make sure to recap what you want with your masseuse before you start the session. I usually book online and will include notes in my appointment, but I would say more often than not, the masseuse doesn't see or receive the notes. Sometimes the masseuse will sort of assess what's going on with your back and then say they want to give you a different type of massage instead (a couple of times I went in for a swedish and they suggest deep tissue or shiatsu instead, usually because I wait way too long in between appts and then my back is super tight again) and I usually like that because I feel like they actually care about getting me in good shape, but not everyone might want that so make sure you speak up! I avoided reviewing this place for a bit because I don't want everyone booking up my appointments at this gem, but I love these ladies and what they do so I gotta give them their props! read more

As a follow up to my previous review, Evelyn, the owner did call after reading my review. She was very kind was very apologetic. She offered a free massage for my son on our next visit. We finally went back for a visit yesterday and it was PERFECT! Nancy gave my son an excellent massage and he can't wait to go back. Evelyn was also there and was very welcoming. We did not request the free massage that she had offered. The point of my review was not for free services, rather to bring an awareness that we should ALL be treated with dignity and respect. Hubby booked me a massage at Comfort Day Spa for some rest & relaxation mid-week. Prices unfortunately just went up on July 15th so the previous $80 massages are now $100. Seemed pretty quiet and empty when I arrived on a Wednesday early evening. The reception area is a little hidden on the left when you enter. Receptionist was friendly and had me checked in quickly with a short questionnaire to fill out since it was my first time (mainly health related). Once I completed the paperwork, I was greeted by the masseuse (I believe her name was Emma) who led me to the dimly lit room with soft relaxing music playing in the background. Signature Massage ($100): Selected this particular one since it was a combination of deep tissue + swedish massage to fit each persons individual needs. The massage started and focused a lot on the back which is one of my problem areas so that was nice. The massage was great but the ONE single downfall was the process - back to legs to feet. Once feet was done, she asked me to flip over facing up and immediately started on my head/face. I'm not sure if she was gloved or bare-handed but there was no switching out of gloves or washing hands. I had a pimple friend visit this morning. This is the only place I go to for deep tissue massages. I was long overdue for a massage and had my massage with Jenny. I'm sad the other therapists I've seen in the past are no longer working here but was really happy with Jenny! She was exactly what I needed. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any therapists here. They always ask for your preference and make sure you're comfortable. Recently, my new obsession are their oxygen facials. I've had it twice now with Evelyn and my skin has never been this glowwwwwwy! That glow persists for at least a week but after that, my skin continues to feel so smooth and firmer. Wow - the expertise in the way the massage therapists handled the body massage was top notch. They truly know their stuff here. It's clean, check in process was simple, and the rooms did not feel crammed. I was concerned that it's a busy-sounding plaza right outside there's a cafe with a lot of chatter, but I heard only the zen piano music. I'd definitely come back anytime I want to treat myself. My only small complaint was that the massage at times did not feel relaxing, which I indicated on my form was the reason for the visit. They really work on your knots! Massages are 5 stars! It is a tiny spa, nestled between Ichiban and International Coffee House. I have very tight shoulders and back and I have been here many times over the years for deep tissue. Currently Angela and Tony are my favorite. They are quick to communicate to make appointments and you can also book online. However I had to drop 2 stars for the facial, I cannot recommend it. For the first time, I got a mini facial after a massage. $75 for 30 min, overpriced but I was long overdue for a refresh. The lady was nice but didn't ask any questions. There was no consult so I told her I have sensitive skin and I need extractions, she said it would be fine. She was gentle but didn't do the extractions. The worst was a few days afterwards, my cheeks felt like sand paper. Nothing else changed since I have a very simple skincare routine. I tried hydrocortisone, ceramides, heavy moisturizer. Two weeks later, they were still completely dried out which means my moisture barrier was heavily compromised. I ended using prescription medicine to fix it. Before this I had hydra facials elsewhere with no adverse reactions. I'll be back for massage but not facial. read more

The environment is clean and soothing and relaxing! They're very professional and I highly suggest if you need an entire body relaxation experience that you try a Shiatsu Massage and if you're lucky enough to get Anna schedule it with her!!!!! I literally have not felt this relaxed since sometime in 2024! I got their special (an hour massage and 1 hour facial) for my birthday. The facial was great and relaxing. The massage was not great. She did not even ask me about anything I listed down on my intake sheet. I am a cancer survivor and thats important to know. Also i have allergies and normally thats important to know especially for a massage. I told her (angela) several times to be gentle and she went very deep. She really worked my one shoulder so hard that for 3 days I have been in pain. The pain was so bad that I flinched when my husband gently hugged me. Typically I would say that $100 is a lot for one hour BUT OMG this was the best massage Iv ever had. I have had a really bad sciatic pain on my left side from my lower back to my foot and it's gone. I've been here about 5 time so far and my experience has been great each time so far. Compared to other reputable massage centers, this place has consistently high quality and customer service. Definitely recommend Chrystal who is very detailed and caring. She focus's on exactly what you ask for and her techniques definitely helped me walk out of there on cloud nine. I had a really bad knot in my left calf for two months and she worked that our with the perfect pressure within the 90 min session. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality you get. I found that you often don't get consistency in the quality of the massage at a lot of fancy places. Many expensive place have great decorations and equipment but the true worth of a massage center is in the therapist. This place my not be the fanciest but the therapists consistently out performed several places of equal or great cost. read more

I used to get massaged by Mina and she was the original reason I kept going back. Unfortunately Mina is no longer there, however, Anna has been amazing and has the most caring kind heart. Anna sincerely tailors the massage accordingly. She listens with the utmost patience and respect. Keep in mind she is fluent in Mandarin but can speak English very well. I've been here a few times now and have found the best masseuse. If you like medium or very strong pressure, I recommend Anna. She definitely knows how to locate your pained areas and does a great job at removing all the knots. You'll feel sore for a couple days, but you'll notice how much better you feel after that. She really listens when you tell her what you want to focus on and gives extra time to those areas.
