I discovered Dr.Bhasvar on a massive mission to get filler and botox on a Sunday. I was scheduled to fly out on Monday and desperately needed to brighten up my face for my sons wedding. I somehow stumbled upon Brea Wellness Center and called 7 pm on Saturday. Dr.Bhasvar was extremely accommodating and gave me an appointment for following day, which was Sunday. My review is well overdue to say the least. *My short review: Make an appointment- You'll love Dr. Bhavsar I'm very pleased. **LONG review below: I had lip injections on September 7, 2018 and a follow up on September 21, 2018. I was waiting for the swelling to go down and of course the personal time to sit down and yelp. My experience with their clinic has been very positive. My appointment was at the old office which was an older building but very clean. I took my chance with Dr. Bhavsar after having previous injections at a discount price at a prestigious hospital setting facility. I was very disappointed by the lack of Education and the placement of lip injections by the doctor. The moment consultation occurred at Dr. Bhavsar with the LVN Priscilla, any nervous anticipation that I had was gone and all of my questions were answered. Dr. B walks in and again asked if I had any further questions or concerns and proceeded with the injections. Everything went well and after the injections, I was a bit numb for ~six hours afterwards. The procedure was very tolerable in my perspective. Two weeks later I went back to se Dr. Bhavsar for a follow up which was not necessary but I insisted to make the appointment. I wanted for Dr. B to check for symmetry of my lips and answer a few more of my questions. Overall, I am beyond pleased with Dr. Bhavsar and his staff. They were very professional and focused on priority of patient care, education, safety and my concerns. As a nurse, I recommend Dr. Bhavsar for lip injections. From my experience, he takes his time and made me feel safe, comfortable & confident. Dr. B has relocated to a new office which I have not yet been to, I'm sure it is stellar. Buyers beware! Purchased through Groupon $390 for face fillers When I called to make an appointment they told me product is NO LONGER AVAILABLE and they wanted to charge me $590 instead . This place is a rip off. I had a hard time reaching them as phone number on Groupon states they were not accepting calls. I had to find them under different name. I have been going to this clinic for two years. Usually it was the nurse practitioner who would do my Botox. But lately the doctor started doing the Botox on me and I would notice a stinging painful sensation. Come to find out he has been mixing more saline solution with the Botox then what is needed to make more money. It hurts a lot and the Botox does not last as long. Botox should not sting when they administer it there might be a slight pinch from the needle but that would be it. And if you're thinking of getting fillers make sure you check that he's giving you the whole syringe that you have purchased. read more

Since I am the owner of the real "Brea Wellness Center" for many years they cannot use the name without my written authorization. They were notified on 12/11/2021 regarding the improper use of "Brea Wellness Center" and Dr. Ashish Bhavsar agreed to make changes so there would be no confusion regarding my office and his office. Do NOT waste your time. Two strikes! Other reviewers are correct, watered down botox. I waiting 45 minutes my 1st visit. The Dr apologized And offered some sort of laser facial that he did right then and there only took about 15 minutes but noticed nothing afterwards. He told me please call if you need a touchup. two weeks later I still had a lot of movement in my forehead. When I made the apt for touch up receptionist said would only take a few min. I again waited 50 min. My bad for sticking around that long. I left and Dr never showed up. The receptionist informed me that the doctor works at St Jude which is five minutes away and that it would only take him that long to get there. Idk what Dr can work at a hospital and be called away to his med spa down the street at a 5 min notice. Shady! read more

I seldom write reviews but i felt compelled to write one for Dr. Bhavsar and his staff. In my experience of getting injections knowing the inherent risk, i have never felt so assured that i was being properly taken care of. I've lived with bags under my eyes since i was 17 and attempted to correct the issue in the past with injections. Unfortunately i had a bad experience which ended up making the problem much worse. The clinician injected the product into the lower lid area under my right eye accentuating the problem. I was afraid i would relive the same mishap or that the problem would not be corrected, since the bag under my eye did not reduce even after a year and a half. Yet i was tired of trying to cover up the problem with pounds of make up everyday. Knowing that blindness is an inherent risk in under eye injections it's crucial that the injector know exactly what they are doing. Dr. Bhavsar is not only highly qualified but took every precaution, using a special needle which significantly reduced the risk of puncturing vital areas. Additionally he was very artful in his examination and execution of the injections. Thankfully he successfully corrected the problem and completely removed the bags from under my eyes and i am ecstatic to say the least! Thank you again!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. When I first went to the office I was put in a chair to wait for the doctor he showed up and was very friendly initially then when we started discussing what I was looking for regarding Botox he explained to me that I would need to purchase a total of 64 units to complete what I wanted. I explained I have done Botox before and only wanted it to be in the areas of my number 11 is in the center but with a Groupon I had 20 units. In the past I was able to purchase an additional 10 units and divide those between the three areas the forehead the center of my eyebrow area and outside my eyes to create symmetry as he discussed. When I was not willing to purchase additional units he told me he would only put it in one spot . He injected on my forehead and acted like he had no idea what I wanted. I asked him if that was the best plan because that's not what I was looking for he said that is the area I needed at the most. He injected me aggressively. He had no patient care. He had no compassion. Didn't clean me up after and when I got to my car had blood dripping from my forehead. It was the most unprofessional medical experience I've ever had. I should have just walked out when I saw his attitude change. He shouldn't be practicing medicine. read more

Ladies! Do you want even textured skin and a flawless glow? I tried the Pearl Fractional Laser with Dr Ashish Bahvsar and I have been getting so many compliments! I went in on a Monday and I had a full 7 days of downtime. I had to stay indoors for the whole week. Once the dead skin flaked off, I had brand new, soft, even textured skin. Make up goes on and stays on and looks glamorous. Even without make up, I just use a sunscreen tint and my face looks photo ready. I would highly recommend not scheduling anything for a full two weeks just in case it takes longer for the dead skin to fall off and to give your skin enough time to fully heal. It wasn't painless but it was worth it. I have tried micro needling- the genius RF and this laser is far superior to micro needling at any depth. My skin feels tighter, and my pores are smaller. I've been so happy with Brea Wellness that I decided to post. Quick background on me - male in my 50's, very active, with numerous injuries from sports in my younger days. I've now had PRP shots in both knees and shoulder at Brea Wellness. Before the PRP shots- my left knee was in so much pain that simple things like climbing stairs, getting in and out of chairs, etc. was uncomfortable. And doing exercises like squats, deadlifts, etc was so painful I stopped doing them decades ago. Due to shoulder pain, I stopped doing push-ups, as they were too uncomfortable. After the PRP shots - Within a couple months of getting the shot, I can now do squats, deadlifts, etc. And stairs, chairs, are no longer uncomfortable. And after the 2nd PRP shot in my shoulder I'm back to doing push ups again. Dr. Bashir (Dr. B) is very helpful and worked with me on pricing for a package of PRP shots. When I visited the Brea wellness center the doctor actually took time to speak with me and help me with my concerns. I felt as if he actually cared. Very patient and waited till I was fully numb before I received filler. The only reason I didn't give this five stars was due to the fact that there was a new office staff member training and I felt as if the receptionist who was training was short and impatient with her. I was unhappy with my previous dr. & I decided to try Dr. Bhavsar when I found him on Groupon for fillers and honestly I'm so glad I did! He not only knows what he's doing, he takes his time, and also goes over in detail what he's going to do and the best way to achieve your goal that you want walking in. I've gotten fillers from many different places and most are okay, but it's nice to go to someone knowledgeable and who actually cares. The prices are reasonable, but really it's the service that's the first and foremost. I will also say the front desk is always super friendly and helpful. I've already been back to see him and I literally called same day to see if they could squeeze me in and the front desk was able to make time for me. I've had Voluma/Volbella and Juvaderm Ultra, personally I prefer the Juvaderm Ultra, but either way I highly recommend Dr. Bhavsar. I tried this place twice for Botox and it only lasted 2 months. The other places I've been to lasted 4-5 months. I let them know the second time that it faded in 2 months and they didn't seem to care at all. Won't be going back, don't waste your money on the Botox there. I would never come back or recommend this place ever! So it was my first time to get botox. I got $115 for 20 units and advised them that it was an offer on Groupon. A lady advised me that she would just match the price and not to bother getting it from Groupon. Went in and. Was told that 20 units would be fine for the area in between my eye brows since I didn't have deep wrinkles. After the procedure I was thinking about how the nurse practitioner just came in with a needle pre filled with liquid and just said it was Botox. Now I regret not asking why she didn't fill the syringe from the actual bottle. I don't believe i actually got botox it could have been another brand because I see NO difference!!!
