Your body is so achy during third trimester from all the extra weight but Ana was able to release a lot of my tension. I didn't have the best prenatal massage at a different shop so I was a bit hesitant coming in but Ana knew what she was doing for sure. She was very kind and professional throughout the entire process. The facility itself was also pretty easy to find and extremely clean inside. Loved my time at BodyCentre! I got a prenatal massage with Ana and was very happy with it. First, the salon is very quaint and quiet. It is also squeaky clean (the bathroom floors are SHINY!). We had a 10 AM appointment on a Saturday, and they recommend you come 10 minutes before to check in. The business has a small parking lot where we were lucky to get a spot. The receptionist was welcoming and asked if we wanted to use the bathroom before our massage, which I appreciated. The waiting room was small and cutely decorated for Valentine's Day. Tea and water were available. Before starting we were asked about our focus areas. The massage tables were pleasantly warm, and we could adjust the heat as needed. Then we entered 45 minutes of pure bliss! My massage therapist did a great job with my neck and shoulders, and at the end she massaged my neck with a rolled towel that was infused with a minty essential oil. It smelled heavenly and was super relaxing. When we checked out we were gifted chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day - a nice touch! I am suffering 24/7 body pain due to the fibromyalgia symptom. Yesterday, 3/24/2026 I felt tired and searched a random massage center in Fullerton and decided to try BodyCentre Fullerton for a Lymphatic massage for the very first time. Met with "Kim" and she explained to me what Lymphatic massage was and how it can help me with my fibromyalgia symptom. That night, I went to sleep as usual. But when I woke up this morning, I was breathing heavily because I woke up from a deep-deep-deep sleep. I think the last time I had this kind of deep-deep sleep was at my teens. It was incredibly great feeling. Also, I didn't feel the body pain for the first time in 10 years! It felt so odd and weird not to feel my body pain in the morning. So I didn't take the pain medicine to see how I would feel later in the day. I didn't feel the body pain until close to noon! It was really weird but amazing feeling! I have met with countless number of Doctors in past 10 years to inquire about my fibromyalgia treatment and this Lymphatic massage by Kim treated me so much more than any Doctors I've ever met before. This was my first visit to BodyCentre. My one hour deep tissue massage was in April 2026 with Paolo. I was having moderate shoulder pain and high stress from work. Paolo gave a great massage and afterwards my shoulder pain and stress were virtually eliminated. Despite being deep tissue with intense pressure it was very relaxing and I actually dozed off for a couple of minutes. The overall environment was calm, clean, and tastefully decorated. Oui is excellent with her hands when doing the Lymphatic Drainage & Therapeutic Massage. Every pressure she applied with her hands, elbows, and arms was definitely felt -- it hurts so good . I could tell which areas of my body were tight because she applied the right amount of pressure on those spots. After the massage, I felt amazing. I think my experience could've been better with Miriam. My appointment wasn't started on time even though I arrived 10-15 minutes early. And then, the session ended a few minutes earlier, and she had left the room before I could say anything. In total, I lost about 5-6 minutes of massage time. Also, the weekday add-on for foot scrub is NOT worth it. Why? Because it's included in your massage session not after, so I felt like I lost on even more massage time. Also, it was done so half-heartedly that I wish I had never added it on in the first place. The massage itself wasn't the best I've had either. At one point, she gave a random ear massage that was maybe like 20 seconds long, and oil was lathered into my ear piercings that later discomfort on my drive back home. At the end of the session, she asked if I wanted to pay via venmo or cash, but I had prepared my card like the email instructed me to. When I said card, she looked a bit annoyed. I felt like corners were being cut here. I was in a lot of shoulder pain but she did help a lot with the knots, so I'm glad for that. The facility is clean and the rooms are nice and very relaxing. Prices are very reasonable and please leave a good tip as they work very hard. Pro tip: I usually get congested when laying on my stomach for an extended period of time. A masseuse at a place I used to go to many years ago suggested getting a bottle of eucalyptus essential oil and dabbing some on a Kleenex and tucking it in the headrest. Yes, I had suggested to him to see if they would allow a replacement if they were not able to reschedule because as I mentioned I am aware of the policy. Business responded to this review acknowledging things I already mentioned in the review. Yes, mentioned I was sick. No, not complaining about therapist performance and start/end time. No, business did not mention their ability to push the start time as an option. Yes, I knew of policy. Yes, I got substitutes which business allowed. My complaint isn't that I didn't know the policy, it's that they didn't make an exception for an emergency. It is out of my control that my emergency happened at that time. $190 is a lot of money to take from people if they got really sick and couldn't show up, but notified the business as soon as they could. I respect the therapists need for income and I would only hope I could be respected as a client in return. This review and its responses and edits are important for future clients so that they understand that the business has professional wording to state, "Emergencies are not exceptions." Thank you.** Today, I had a medical emergency hours before the massage and had my partner call in to reschedule and they denied us. They told us we could not reschedule and would not get a refund. Believe me, I read the cancellation policy (stating no cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment) last night as I scheduled. I had no symptoms last night, so there was no way I was supposed to know. All they said was that it was a strict policy and they told my husband to bring someone else. (***Edit: I realize the wording here could sound like the substitute was their suggestion, but it was a suggestion on our end.***) Did they want me to go in and experience additional pain to what I was already experiencing? So they just pocket $190 if there's an emergency? How was my husband supposed to find a last minute replacement who would feel comfortable with being in a couples massage with him? I didn't want it to go to waste and last minute offered it to my friends and covered it. Sure that worked and I do love my friends, but that doesn't change how this business did not care. My husband and I both got a massage at the same day and time, two different massage therapists. My husband's massage was great, he said one of the best he had ever had. Mine, unfortunately was not good. The worst I have ever had by a long shot. Most massages, aside from deep tissue, that I have had in the past were just kind of similar to each other. This was so incredibly weak, it just felt like I was having oil lightly rubbed onto my body. There wasn't just light pressure, there was truly NO pressure on most of my body. I understand these are hard times for everyone and you need to run a business but don't forget your humanity in that process. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
