They say they open up at 8am on Sunday, I had a house full of people and needed to buy some baked goods. A lot of baked goods. Was standing out side and someone opened the door to tell me that they got a late start and won't open until 9 today. Not only didn't they get my business today. The never will again. Their baked goods were only ok anyways but was hoping to give them another chance until this happened. read more

I have been back several times after my first experience, the salty frog has been my favorite sandwich and their corn chowder was amazing! I love their homemade chips, although the last two times I've ordered them, the centers have not been cooked through. Breakfast sandwiches are also delicious! Their wait times vary, we did have to wait almost 25 minutes for our breakfast order one morning... And other times, we wait less than 10 minutes. We did order a chocolate croissant and when we got home to eat it, found that it was actually a ham and cheese. Overall, it's a great addition to downtown Sturgis, really delicious food... Still need to work out a few kinks, but they'll get there! read more

Moved from 3 stars to 4 stars because they now have laminated menus that look really nice and they fixed the cheese melting issue. This place is a real hidden gem in town and I have been here over 10 times. It is also great to support a locally owned business. Spread the word! read more

Great new addition to Downtown Sturgis! Excellent customer service and delicious food! No need to be concerned about those leaving less than 5 stars for a restaurant that just opened up weeks ago! Just like every other restaurant or business, they are in need of staff so the model they are using now of no waited dining is perfect for this type of establishment! Prefect place for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were wonderful. Got a double order and it feed four adults.

We ordered a carrot cake for a special event. It was delicious, but maybe a little sweet for some people. I didn't see any of the savory foods, but the cookies, croissants, and breakfast muffins in the display case looked delicious. I can't wait to go back and try something else. (Probably this weekend, so may update this review later) The only drawback so far is that it seemed a little expensive, but it's new so you need to cover costs. read more

Response from the owners was as underwhelming as my experience. Obviously, they didn't get the point that I actually like my food seasoned just not to the point that it is inedible. The eggs were literally half black from all the pepper. And I guess I shouldn't have been so nice when I said the response from the chef was kinda rude. It was absolutely rude! I was trying to be nice, she was rude and condescending. If you're going to put that much pepper on eggs, you should warn your customers first. She did mention that they would've remade the order, but unfortunately, we were very pressed for time and didn't have that option. read more

It is probably a great choice for many but I was not impressed, expensive with mediocre quality, I can not say it's bad, just not for me.

The food is fresh, and my time is valued. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. All around nice place!

We stopped here on our way thru town and really enjoyed it! I got a Mediterranean veggie sandwich and my husband got a fried bologna sandwich. The homemade chips were a treat! I have eaten here twice now and both times my food was delicious. I have had two different sandwiches both made with super fresh ingredients and homemade bread. I have also tried their chocolate chip cookies and their crinkle cookies and they were awesome. I think they are very reasonably priced for all of the fresh ingredients and homemade delicacies. Very friendly staff who have put in a lot of work to make it welcoming, clean, and friendly. Highly recommend for lunch. I haven't tried breakfast yet, but I will definitely get there one morning to give that a try too! read more
