Stopped by Petey's Eatey's twice after having menu items recommended to me on my video's. First…read moretime was to try the cheesesteak and then I came again to try a mammoth breakfast sandwich (the belly buster). Both of these trips were a little while back and I'm honestly due to stop in again and try something else out. I stopped in for the cheesesteak December of 2021 and I went back for the breakfast sandwich December of 2022. The cheesesteak had the cheese mixed throughout and it was on a pretty solid roll. There was less meat than I had hoped (trails off towards the end of the roll on both sides) and it honestly could have used more cheese too, but it was definitely something that would scratch an itch. At the time the price was excellent (like $8.50 or something in that range) but I am not sure if it's still around that price or not. This isn't something I would go out of my way to get again, but it wasn't something I was upset about at all. The breakfast sandwich was a beast. Pork roll (or whatever you call it), bacon, eggs, cheese, hash brown on a Kaiser. The flavor was good all separate and once I was able to actually get my mouth around it and get everything in one bite, it was solid. It isn't something I would suggest eating often, and I'm sure your cardiologist would agree. Either way, pretty tasty stuff. Going to have to check back in soon for sure, but for an economy steak I was happy and for a once a year breakfast or so, it did the trick.

The best place around for a great portion. The price is fair but the wait can be a pain. Best ice…read morecream too. But like all good things the party is over. They closed their doors for good a couple months ago. Going to it into a convenience store. Sad !

This was always a spot I walked by but never stopped, but after moving here and giving it a shot, I wish I could go back in time. Whether you order a hot sandwich smothered in sauce or a classic cold sub, you're guaranteed a loaded, consistently well-made, delicious sandwich. The attached photos are from today's meal, which was very quick, looked amazing, and tasted even better. We had two of the munchies, the Spicy Garlic Pizza Bites and the Fried Ravioli. Both were tasty and affordable. For the sandwiches, today I got The Balboa (1/2) and my boyfriend got The Italiano (whole). The chicken in The Balboa were delicious, traditional Italian style breaded cutlets. Despite being covered in their sauce and cheese, both the roll and the breading on the cutlets remained perfectly crispy. The bread is always great, and today I opted for the garlic bread semolina which added a great flavor for this sandwich. I got two thumbs up from my boyfriend about The Italiano, I couldn't really get a word from him while he was eating because he was loving this sandwich so much. I asked him if it was "better than Wawa", and if looks could kill, I wouldn't be writing this right now. His face said, "you didn't even just ask me that". Besides our successful meal today, I also wanted to share an amazing service experience I had at Ciao last week. The shop was packed, and I ended up waiting around 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't think much of it to be honest...Given how busy they were, the employees were clearly focused, working very hard, and turning out one amazing looking sandwich after another. When my order was ready, the owner (or manager) handed me my bag, apologized for the wait, and insisted I take a free dessert from their fridge. I hadn't complained and honestly didn't mind waiting, but that gesture spoke volumes. Some might see waiting as an inconvenience worth some sort of refund/reward, but given all of the circumstances I noted earlier, I see that as a sign of a small business thriving. So, to me, this gesture showed me how much they truly value their customers and how committed they are to creating a positive experience worth returning to. The fact that they went above and beyond only confirmed why Ciao has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. And can't forget... the cheesecake was also great! So whether you're ordering eat in and sitting outside enjoying Downtown, doing take out for pick up, or ordering to-go from online, I highly recommend Ciao for a tasty sandwich, great side options, and wonderful service.

Two sandwiches, fries and two drinks were over $50. The staff seemed to be walking around like zombies and the food took forever to come out. Not the best experience, and I'd probably look elsewhere if I was going for a sandwich for lunch.
