This is a great pub located in Stockertown, that makes spectacular wings, Detroit pizza, cheesesteaks, and so much more. They have a full bar. No reservations are excepted. Service was excellent. Felt very welcoming , from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. Food was spectacular. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Stopped in on our way back to Philly from the Poconos just after opening. Very pleasantly surprised with the amazing food and awesome service. It was quiet since we opened the place and it's Monday but I'm sure it doesn't stay like this! Great experience will absolutely make a point to stop back through next time I'm in this neck of the woods.

Was in town for a meeting and got this recommendation. I'm happy I went. The pizza was delicious. The texture was great and the edges were perfectly crispy. I'm a fan of Detroit style pizza and this was a good version of it. The wings were large and delicious. The blue cheese dressing was great and made in house. I'll definitely be back here again when I'm in the area.

The goat is a great place if you're looking for bar food or good Detroit style pizza. My favorite item on the menu is definitely their pizza and they have great drinks as well. Service is good and quick. We typically sit at the bar but there are tables as well. I didn't take a picture because people were sitting at them.

Dinner here was great experience. I appreciated that they went lite on croutons & cheese for my Caesar salad and gave me housemade Caesar dressing on the side. Grilled chicken breast added to salad was delicious and sowas the salad. Hand cut fries were delicious. Waitress was a sweetheart.

The GOAT Pub & Pie is a pub in Stockertown located right off of Main St. They specialize in Detroit style pizza and pub food such as burgers, cheesesteaks, and wings. I'm just going to come right out and say it. This place is amazing! I love my pub food. I've been to hundreds of places. I can honestly say this is some of the best pub food I've ever had. I (my buddy and I split everything) went with the Fried Mozzarella, Wings w/ Garlic Parm, Brisket Mac & Cheese, and the Goat Pie. All excellent! Dine-in and takeout are both available. No delivery. There is parking on both sides of the building and in the back but it's very limited. Finding a spot is a hassle during peak hours. My parents live locally to the area still since I've moved away- but I've always wanted to give this a try when visiting back home! The problem is that it's always so crowded it's been hard to ever try it. I can finally understand why The Goat has been so packed, and man am I glad I've finally gotten a chance to taste it out. The location is small, but is packed with a great vibe. The only downside is how small the location is because of how many people want to be eating here at all times. However, we walked in on a Sunday night and were able to be seated right away for a table of 6 at about 5:45pm. The menu includes many great apps, sandwiches, salads but what I was mostly intrigued by was the Detroit style pizzas. I went with the hot & honey Detroit pie, added on some caramelized onions. Wow wow wow. If you're looking for that sweet & spicy flavored pizza- this is it. The jalapeños add just enough heat, the crust is perfection, and don't even get me started on the house made marinara. This pie rounded out as one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Was it stacked with my day's worth of calories? Probably- but I had half of it left to take home with me at the end of the meal! My family also started out with the garlic parm and the sweet & spicy wings. Highly recommend both & the amount of wings is great for the price you pay. Both sauces were excellent and I can assure you that no wing went uneaten. Our server was attentive, was patient with the child at our table, and all around friendly! She let us know they were short staffed but the service once would have never made us think that had she not told us. I cannot wait to come back here again and try many of the other pies, seriously I don't think you can go wrong with any one you pick!

The limited menu centers on straightforward, easy-to-eat sandwiches and highly customizable flatbread pizzas, all complemented by the signature adult beverages brewed or distilled by the Barley Creek organization. The ambiance is decidedly casual and built for hanging out, featuring plenty of TVs tuned to sports and Pennsylvania lottery games, a couple of arcade games, a foosball table, and cornhole boards that make stopping by more of an experience than just a quick meal. For food, I opted for the chicken salad varietal of the Deli Sandwich ($12), served with lettuce and tomato on rustic white toast alongside potato chips, while my dining companion went with the tuna salad varietal of the Deli Sandwich. Both of us thought our basic sandwiches were well executed. I also took advantage of the Sunday Happy Hour from 12pm til 3pm and ordered a half-price pint of the Barley Creek Navigator Gold beer, a easy-drinking American blonde/golden ale that's very similar to Budweiser's flagship brew. The food and beer hit the spot for a casual lunch, but the service kept this from being a top-notch experience. Our server was noticeably stretched thin managing multiple tables plus a full bar. Basic details fell through the cracks -- I had get up and physically chase her down to ask for silverware and ended up with just a single fork delivered by another server. Payment was another bottleneck: after another server dropped the check, I was left standing awkwardly at the register for a few minutes while the service team juggled the other dining parties. All in all, it's a solid 3-star spot for the family-friendly vibe and solid food -- just be prepared for potential lulls in service when they're busy.
