Wonderful spot for brunch! It is a small restaurant and can get busy, but they do have a patio if the weather allows. We really enjoyed our meals here, especially the mushroom Benedict. The porcini hollandaise sauce was perfect. Rich and very flavorful, it complemented the dish well. The homemade rustic bread served with the scrambles was delicious and very fresh. Service was excellent. The breakfast was mediocre. Was not impressed with the food. I almost feel like a French toast came out from underneath a heat lamp. The sausage has a funky texture to it. Would never recommend it or eat it again. Hopefully things improve. read more

This place was a serendipitous find for me, but I'm glad I drove past! I was leaving Breckenridge going toward Vail and saw this place on Frisco's Main Street on the path to the freeway so I pulled off cause it looked cute. Indeed it was! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. There was plenty of parking right out front, and it's on the main road so lots of other little fun shops around. There are shared bathrooms (between the businesses right around there); they're clean enough. And the food - it's excellent! I had the truffle scramble which is a truffle omelette ($17) with add ins, and comes with a side of hash browns and homemade toast or biscuit (I got the toast). I also ordered some earl grey tea with a side of vanilla syrup/milk (to make a London fog since it wasn't on their menu), and that was so lovely with the breakfast. I was quite full after all that, didn't need another meal until dinner although I ate at like 8:30am. Also the place got pretty full by 9a, a good number of people were on the waitlist and all the tables were full, so it gets busy! It's worth it tbh, I really liked the food and vibe. One of my favorite brunch spots on Main St! You will have to wait a bit, but trust me it's worth it. And when the sun is out that outdoor seating is so clutch. The owners are so sweet and I never have left here hungry once. Great cocktails too! read more

We ordered bloody Mary's to start and it took a little longer than we expected but not too bad when I said we were ready to order our waitress said she'd be right back. Wasted 45 min of my time and offered no help. They place your name on a chalk board for the waitlist. We placed our party with 6. We waited directly outside for approximately 45 minutes, until we got frustrated when people were walking in and getting a table. Come to find out our name was changed on the board by someone. We continue to seek out Bread and Salt because of the amazing staff and accommodating menu. As a healthy eater, I like the portions and selections on the "sides" menu. Choosing a couple of sides works well with a husband who prefers the specials with Olathe corn, a real Colorado treat. Petra, the manager is always pleasant and our server Edith, both check back to refill coffee cups and check to see if we're happy. Great people watching if you sit outside. Server immediately asked us for the types of drinks we wanted. Great service and very attentive. Food: Had a traditional breakfast the first day, two eggs, sausages, hash browns, and wheat toast. The sausages were home made and were very good and the hashies were great. We went there two days later for lunch and had a Pork Burrito. This was very good and packed with flavor. Wife and kids visited on our drive back to Denver from Breckenridge. This is a cute, small, local restaurant nestled off Main St. The mountain views from inside are phenomenal. I would say this is a solid option for morning breakfast if you're looking for a delightful, quiet and personal experience. Food was savory, flavorful and came with locally sourced toast. I had the Spanish Scramble paired with their bold, "wake me up" coffee. Their pancakes were overall ok and perhaps lacked a little bit of flavor. These are served with a side if Nutella and during our visit a side of blueberries. Service was personable. Staff members were kind although place got busy during our visit and we waited on a few things (understandably). Price is relatively ok.
