I typically don't leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it was worth sharing. When I pulled into the drive-thru, I overheard the employee on the intercom tell the car in front of me to "pull forward, but drive really slow, like a turtle." My wife previously worked at Starbucks, so I understand drive-thru times are tracked, and it immediately came across as though the priority was manipulating the drive-thru time rather than providing good customer service. I ordered a simple grande chai tea latte with soy. When I got to the window, I apologized and asked if I could add a blueberry muffin. The employee immediately told his staff, "Make it room temp," without even asking if I wanted it warmed. When I asked if it could be warmed, he responded, "We don't typically take food orders at the window." I understand that adding something at the window may be inconvenient, and I apologized for doing so. But it was one muffin. Between the comments about driving slowly, the refusal to simply warm the muffin without making it an issue, and then being prompted for a tip, the entire interaction felt focused on getting me through the drive-thru as quickly as possible rather than providing a good experience. I've been to plenty of Starbucks locations and have never been told that ordering a food item at the window was a problem. I left genuinely disappointed. Next time I'm in Frisco and want Starbucks, I'll just go to the Safeway location across the street instead. read more

Visited the Starbucks in Breckenridge to warm up with a hot beverage. This location was very busy with lots of people. I placed my order with the Starbucks app and the party I was with placed their order in the line. The location is very homely with a small town feel. You wait in line and they have a variety of their glasses and coffee products on display for purchase. You then head to the counter to place your order where they had a variety of bakery items on display. I received my order the Hot Chai Latte very timely placing an app order. When I noticed a seasonal gingerbread chai latte on the menu, I asked if it was too late to modify my order. The barista graciously added gingerbread syrup to my beverage to accommodate my request. My beverage tasted warm and was just how I like it with a gingerbread twist. I love how Starbucks offers seasonal flavors to put a twist on my favorites. This location also had plenty of searing and people were working at tables and also lounging in chairs. Overall, this location fits the Breckenridge small cozy mountain town vibe. read more

Great experience at this Starbucks! I got a flat white with soy milk and a tomato mozzarella panini. I think I was charged $15 or so which is a bit high, but the coffee and panini were good. They were also really busy but the staff was working really hard and churning orders out. The spot is clean and the opened garage feature is awesome. read more

Yay!!! They have the Chickpea bites and avocado!!!!! Not all Starbucks carry this item so I was extremely happy that they had it! Made my morning really. I also got an orange juice to go with it! I like the pure orange bottled orange juice. It tastes so fresh! My party also got a caramel frappe and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate had almond milk instead of cows milk. Dairy free is the way to be lol We were all happy campers in the morning after hitting this Starbucks location. Service was quick and great customer service. Very rude service this morning from the gentleman working, I believe his name was Aaron. My wife had asked if options were cold or hot, and then asked about the oat milk in one beverage to which he responded, "Am I talking to myself" This isn't an appropriate response nor was he listening to her question, maybe it was an error with his head set or the box speaker not working but it was very rude to then be impatient about her ordering when there's no one else in the drive through or in the store. The store itself was okay. It was big, clean and spacious. The employees/staff were okay. Not overly friendly but not unfriendly. just not super helpful. Also half the people in our group sadly did not enjoy their drinks. The tea ordered was supposed to be a tea lemonade and it ended up being tea only so she didn't drink it. There's an outside patio during summer they open up so you can go outside and sit in the sun with your drink. They're always so nice and super fast here! Like many Americans I've been to dozens if not hundreds of Starbucks. This is seriously the worst coffee shop I've been to. Incompetent and rude employees somehow managed to screw up a caramel frappuccino that tastes like the poo juice it looks like has collected at the bottom of the cup (see photo). I even wanted to pay for the car behind me, a.k.a. the pay it forward System, and I was told that she could not do that. For real? I can pay for mine but not the next order, yet it happens pretty regularly? No explanation, and when I asked another employee if he would be able to do it, and he literally looked at me and did not say any words. First, I'm disappointed that Starbucks has become the "McDonald's" of stores, one on every corner or a few in each town. Second, I prefer corporate stores to franchises. Good way to confuse a customer. Advertise something the franchise store does not carry, does not have to either. They don't have to follow the Starbucks "rules". Set their own pricing, not participle in the Rewards program, etc... The stores INSIDE of places like Target, King Soopers, City Market, Safeway...they are all franchise stores. I DO NOT patronize those stores. Now onto this Frisco store. I thought it was overkill but they said the other one would get closed down. It did, so I guess that is good. Think the one in Safeway is still there. #1 I'm not a fan of the building itself. The architect for Frisco lacks vision and what Mountain properties should look like. Its dreary and dark. Should have taken tips from the Silverthorne architect. #2 The placement of the drive-thru is ridiculous. It follows north. Do you know what that means folks? It means NO SUNLIGHT. Oh boy! So 6 months or so, that driveway is icy and slick as heck. Be careful driving through it. They claim to have it plowed AND put down salt/de-icer, but I've been through it plenty of times when it was icy. #3 The lack of paying attention to specific orders. I've had this issue since this store was put up. Personally, I've never felt that most there give a crap about getting a drink correct at this location. There have been the random Barista or two that knew me and were helpful. However, they were the exception not the rule. Unfortunate. #4 Whomever is in charge of ordering does a poor job!!! Now I get it, we all get busy, cannot plan for everything. I have yet to run across a store who has not run out of something. It happens. That being said, this store seems to want the gold medal for it! From sandwiches to pastries to types of milk to whatever. Not 1 month has gone by that they have not said "oh, I'm sorry. We are out." By the way, I hate fake apologies. If you were really sorry, you'd make sure it damn well didn't happen again. Which brings me to #5 The turn around is highly ridiculous too. Now I get it. We are a resort community and housing is astronomical. Perhaps Starbucks should do as I've suggested to so many other businesses. Buy/own housing and provide for your employees. Turn around would drop, the best would be able to stay. I see a win-win. This would also make sure accountability occurs with orders, same people doing it. Check numbers weekly, compare to other weeks or same time last year. Until they get these things fixed, it'll be an average Starbucks. Unless of course you care about aesthetics? The fireplace outside is a nice mountain touch. Outdoor seating is nice too. However, if you don't get my order right or have conditions in the drive thru dangerous, I could give .02 about damn outdoor seating. I LOVE my Silverthorne Starbucks. I went through the drive thru this morning about 9am. I ordered a tall salted caramel mocha frapp with extra caramel. When I got my drink it was full of caramel on the outside of the cup so my hands were completely sticky! They couldn't even wipe off my cup for me.. When I took a drink holy crap!!!! BIGGEST blob of caramel filled my mouth.. I work at a Starbucks myself and know that's not what people mean by extra caramel. About a half an inch of caramel sauce was at the bottom of my drink. So disappointed. I almost went across the street to askTim at the safeway Starbucks if he could remake my drink.
