Bread+Salt is our go-to breakfast and early lunch spot in Frisco. The Summit Hash is my favorite and consistently delicious. Food is fresh and they have a large variety of options for every preference. Wait time can definitely be lengthy depending on time of day. I would recommend ordering all at once if possible, and not planning on it being a quick bite to eat; especially if you come on a weekend or holiday. We have had mostly great service over the years-- the owner is almost always there ensuring that everything is running smoothly. Watch out in the spring for falling snow, as it can and will spill directly into some outdoor tables. Parking is easy and can be found all through the area. Great spot for people watching & enjoying the weather if you're sitting outside, or staying in and warming up on those cold winter days.

I was recommended this restaurant by a local in Nederland, so I had to try it. The pesto and the goat cheese were delicious and if you like beets, I highly recommend the veggie hash. The restaurant was pretty busy but I did not wait long for my order. The outdoor seating was very nice and the location is amazing.

Wonderful spot for brunch! It is a small restaurant and can get busy, but they do have a patio if the weather allows. We really enjoyed our meals here, especially the mushroom Benedict. The porcini hollandaise sauce was perfect. Rich and very flavorful, it complemented the dish well. The homemade rustic bread served with the scrambles was delicious and very fresh. It paired well with the homemade jam. Highly recommend!

Early risers, this is the place! Got all the breakfast and lunch items to ready for your hungry stomach. Got the small town charm like jams and butter on the table, local items for sale displaced by the wall and the friendly servers taking care of your needs. Plenty of parking to the sides, shared restroom also and mostly, amazing views of main street looking toward the west!

This place was a serendipitous find for me, but I'm glad I drove past! I was leaving Breckenridge going toward Vail and saw this place on Frisco's Main Street on the path to the freeway so I pulled off cause it looked cute. Indeed it was! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. There was plenty of parking right out front, and it's on the main road so lots of other little fun shops around. There are shared bathrooms (between the businesses right around there); they're clean enough. And the food - it's excellent! I had the truffle scramble which is a truffle omelette ($17) with add ins, and comes with a side of hash browns and homemade toast or biscuit (I got the toast). I also ordered some earl grey tea with a side of vanilla syrup/milk (to make a London fog since it wasn't on their menu), and that was so lovely with the breakfast. I was quite full after all that, didn't need another meal until dinner although I ate at like 8:30am. Also the place got pretty full by 9a, a good number of people were on the waitlist and all the tables were full, so it gets busy! It's worth it tbh, I really liked the food and vibe. Would def recommend :)

We were fortunate to hit the restaurant when it was not insane busy Superb service! Waiter was helpful and efficient. There were 4 in our party and we were lucky to be seated where we could see outside. Food was excellent. Forgot to take pics so sorry. Would come again!

Delicious little brunch spot! We got the SEA scramble, two eggs, and french toast and I think we paid $80 total for two people, which was a little pricey, but it was so good. The vanilla cappuccino with sugar were also great! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back at some point.

This is a cute restaurant but let me tell you, the service was slow. We ordered bloody Mary's to start and it took a little longer than we expected but not too bad when I said we were ready to order our waitress said she'd be right back. She came back in a few minutes with a different waitress to take our order. We came in for lunch at 1:30 and simply ordered a field greens salad with grilled chicken We finally got our food at 2:20. The salad was delicious, the chicken was moist and flavored well. I think they just need more help.

The mushroom Benedict was the best eggs benny I've ever had in my life. Topped with truffle oil and porcini hollandaise sauce. I couldn't stop talking about how good it was all day today. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in frisco. Staff is all super friendly, the outdoor section is cute.

Just a quick wait for a great breakfast! Server was fast and helpful. I ordered the summer squash scramble with a side of breakfast sausage. I loved every bite. Highly recommend this place to those in the Frisco area! Quaint ambiance looking out at the mountains.

Best brunch I had in Frisco…read more Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe is the highest-rated brunch spot in Frisco, and based on my experience, I'd agree with the hype. Of the couple of brunch spots I tried in town, this was my favorite. I ordered the Cornucopia with eggs over medium and substituted the home fries for fruit. The fruit was surprisingly good, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. A side of fruit can be pretty hit or miss when you substitute it at brunch, so I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked right, and the toast was fine. I opted for turkey bacon, though, and I'd recommend skipping it. It was pretty crispy and lacked much flavor. The standout was the cinnamon roll French toast. We ordered it to share with the table, and I highly recommend doing the same. It comes with two large cinnamon rolls that are soaked in egg batter and grilled French-toast style. It was top tier. I noticed several tables around us sharing the regular cinnamon roll as well, and those looked fantastic too. They also have a bakery counter inside with plenty of grab-and-go options. The pastries all looked great, along with fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats. If you're visiting Frisco and looking for brunch, Butterhorn is definitely worth a stop. And whatever you order, I'd make sure the cinnamon roll French toast makes it onto your table.

This place missed every single mark. Our food took almost an hour to come out and parts of it was cold. Hubbys pancake was hard (not crispy hard, like heat lamp hard) and one of the items on my plate was a completely cold, unbuttered English muffin. The eggs were cooked wrong (I ordered over medium and they were barely over easy with tons of runny white still and hubby ordered hard scrambled and they were scrambled and runny still), and our waiter stopped in to fill water cups once but did not check in or ask how we were while we were waiting. I'm typically pretty easy going -- I understand mistakes are made sometimes. That is easily redeemable if the service is good; but the service was not. Our server made it seem like we were an inconvenience. 1026 - we got the text our table was ready. We requested a booth (and mentioned we would wait longer got a booth) but got a table. Okay fine, it happens 1038 - we finally had a server ask if we want something to drink. We ordered drinks and it was at least 10 more minutes before they came to take our order. Our order was submitted and it was nearly 45 minutes for the (cold) food to come out. During the wait we were not checked on at all. No one asked us if we were good or needed anything-- or let us know the food was delayed. When the food finally came (again, cold) it was dropped at the table and it was another 15 mins before our server even acknowledged us again. The lady who helped him drop the food was nicer than he was, and asked if we needed anything else; while he couldn't be bothered. We are walking out now at 1140. Our server checked on us a total of 3 times and got rude when his tip was reduced for that. Important to note -- the table behind us had walked in as our food was being served and they got their entire order (6 people) before we left. Different server, so it may not be the entire place, however your servers are a reflection of your company. Unacceptable and we will not be back

Great Italian spot with something for everyone…read more Bagalis is a great Italian option in Frisco, especially if you have a group with different dietary preferences. We had a vegetarian with us who is a big pasta fan, and there were plenty of options for her to choose from. My fiancée and I started by splitting the Spring Heritage Green Salad, which was a solid starter. We're big fans of getting something green on the table to start, and this was a nice, fresh way to do it. The table is also supposed to get a complimentary bread plate with olive oil and vinegar. Ours didn't come out initially, but we noticed other tables had theirs and asked our waitress. She brought it out promptly, so just be aware that you may need to ask. For my entrée, I went with the Rocky Mountain Ruby Red Trout, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The lemon-pepper seasoned trout was cooked well and flavorful, and it came with asparagus, hollandaise on the side, and crispy gnocchi. The crispy gnocchi was the pleasant surprise of the dish. I'd never had gnocchi prepared this way before. It was slightly sweet and almost reminded me of a dessert. There wasn't a ton of it, so it added a unique touch without overwhelming the dish. I'd definitely recommend the trout. I also had a classic martini with dinner. Nothing particularly memorable, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Overall, Bagalis is a solid choice for Italian in Frisco, particularly if you're dining with a group that includes vegetarians. We asked if we could sit inside if there was availability. That apparently earned us an eye roll. I even offered to show documentation for my service dog, and his response was basically, "I'll get the owner and you can talk to him." At that point, the vibe had gone from "not very welcoming" to "we clearly don't want you people in here." I can't know what was going through his head, but the way he looked at us, spoke to us, and reacted to a simple request came across as genuinely prejudiced and discriminatory--not just rude customer service.
