Amazing service today but me and my girlfriend tried this place for the first time with our niece but me and her got the Cookie Monster rolled ice cream and the horchata frap and my niece just a Dubai crepe Everything tasted good and looked good but when me and my girlfriend got home we threw up so much and have not been able to keep anything else down including water, I believe we got food poising from dairy because it was the only thing we consumed today and my niece didn't get sick because hers was not a cream based item. It was sad because it tasted amazing and we were excited but we threw up so much it hurt. I would recommend keeping the dairy safely stored and handled. I would upload an image of the vomit and how much it was but it is disturbing. Sorry but wouldn't be eating this again. read more

We finally tried this place today, I got the peach thingss crepe (with cajeta/caramel sauce!!) and the kid got the classic crepe. They also have rolled ice cream in so many flavors! I saw one of my Instagram friends post this spot when it opened. I went with my husband and kids a few days later and we've been back quite a few times since then. We really enjoy the rolled ice cream. It's hard to decide what's our favorite but the fruity pebbles and churro are up there. We tried a crepe the first time we went and weren't really fans. I'm not sure if it was the type we got or if it was because they had just opened. I'll probably be giving them another chance soon. I also love how cute the inside is. Awesome little place. Been to a similar one in Clovis. My wife got estática the moment she found out we had one in our neighborhood and she's been hounding me ever since. I finally gave in and planned to take her to visit. The hype is just as good. Can't say one rolling ice cream place is the same as the next. It's only my second one I've been to. They have a variety of hand selected mixtures that they have concocted themselves. Also have the option to create your own. Along with the Ice cream you have a chance to have a crepe as well and if your hungry for tacos that's available next door. The ice cream was pretty good. We went with the Tiramisu. Finally getting to write a review about this little fun gem. We've been here before when it was newer and both then and now service has been great. Greeted as soon as you enter. They were short staffed with a packed house. Staff made sure to let us know that the wait time would be a little longer which was fine with us. We didn't get to sit at the light wall but the kids had fun watching them make the ice cream through the glass. We ordered a s'mores, vanilla w/ fruity pebbles, & a strawberry cheesecake crepe. This is my second time arriving to Cream Base and just like my first time I was welcomed with a hello. My order was a Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe and an Horchata Frappe. The Horchata Frappe has a perfect blend of coffee and horchata it is just right. As for the crepe I really enjoyed the cheesecake filling. The combination of strawberry and cheesecake was perfect for the sweet crepe. Before digging into my food I entered the restroom to wash my hands and concluded that the restroom was clean. This is my favorite rolled ice cream place but the inconsistency in the customer service really is a bummer. Today we got here a little early like 11:30 we decided to wait it was 12 and still nothing we waited and they finally opened like 12:10/15 I don't remember the exact time but it was not 12 someone was inside though since 11:50 I watched as the employee slowly wiped the tables and did random things except opening at the slowest pace I've ever seen. He waited until another employee got there to finally open. When he unlocked the door the open light was still not on but I decided to go in anyway we were waiting a long time. He looked annoyed and we weren't even greeted the employees look like they don't even wanna be there. When the girls that work here are working they are much nicer and faster. The other thing is that the place is never packed. It is a nice decorated and quiet place to hang out. I always get the strawberry crumble flavor which consists of strawberry rolled ice cream with graham crackers incorporated, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries inside. Delicious rolled ice cream, but inconsistent with the presentation which makes you think twice about how much you are spending with them for a sweet treat. Recently, I went on a date night and had the peach things crepe-it came with whipped cream and powdered sugar on top...it was not as decorated as the picture of the crepe I saw on yelp from another customer (powdered sugar/nuts/whipped cream-beautiful) but it was still good. Second time around within the same week I took my daughter. I ordered the same thing but that time around the crepe was pretty much bare on top except for a small sprinkle of powdered sugar. My daughters cookies and cream rolled ice cream was lackluster as well-complete with a squirt of whipped cream, my expectation was there would at least be whip and cookies on top-something that signaled that the treat was-in fact-cookies and cream. Overall, maybe they were low on decor for the treats/maybe not, but I'm all about paying for what I get. The least best courtesy could have been a warning that they were out of toppings when I placed my order-if that was not the case then my order was definitely (sadly) shorted. read more
