Came in here to try an assortment of desserts and I was not disappointed! The inside has plenty of seating, and the service is super speedy. I spent some time looking at all the delights before I finally chose what I wanted. I picked a couple of the cookies and some Turkish Delight. I loved everything! The cream roll was my favorite! Checked out Breaddough for a quick lunch while in the area. They were out of the meat we wanted so had to order something else. The dining room and small and cute. We waited for our lunch for over 30 minutes even though we were the only ones there and most of the items are premade and just needed to be assembled. The lamb wrap was OK. The chicken skewers, rice, and beans were very good. The menu however said that the entree came with bread and sauces, but it came with neither. It came with an undressed salad on the side, which was mainly dry lettuce. Overall, the food was decent, but probably wouldn't return due to service and poor advertising on menu items. read more

This was our first trip to Breaddough and it went like this...First off, parking is a tad tight in this tiny three store plaza of sorts, but there is plenty in the back if you want to park there and walk around the building, not too bad...Next the room is also small with just a few places to sit, but very clean and open...Next the food, a very limited menu but that's not always a bad thing...Do a few things great instead of a lot of things mediocre, is the way to go...Now the food was very tasty, from the bread to the meat portions in our Afgan sub sandwiches...Very well made and since I don't have anything to judge this new cuisine, but I can only say it was tasty...The whole experience was a nice one complete with friendly service...A modestly priced menu helps during these tight times...Give them a try. read more

After reading about this place in the paper, I wanted to go see what the fuss is about. I've had a lot of Middle Eastern food in my day, but I haven't had much from Afghanistan. While it is currently primarily a bakery, there are plans to add a larger menu of things such as shawarma at a later date. When you walk in, you immediately notice that it smells great. I can't put my finger on which one of the dozens of different confectionary wonders I was smelling, I just knew that I liked it. The owner greeted us with a smile and was happy to answer questions about all of the delicious looking things he had for sale - and the ones that were already sold out that day due to popular demand. We ended up leaving with an assortment of sweets, with ingredients ranging from cumin to carrot, and a few bulani. If you've never had that before, it's a thin Afghan bread filled with various things - in our case, it was spinach, onion, and tomato - and fried. If you have had it before, it's the same thing; you just already knew that. Served with the owner's original hot sauce recipe, it was wonderful. As with any new business, the menu is in a little bit of a state of flux. Some things are disappearing, but there are also plans to add more. I'm eager to make a return visit and try even more offerings, and I hope this place will be around for years and years to come. read more
