All around Fantastic! If you are a lover of BREAD...this is your place! If you take your time picking out the correct loaf or you need this bread with this dish..this is your place! Did I mention they English muffin Bread?! Sliced and ready to be toasted. Crunchy crust after toasting but with a nice soft chewy inside. Ciabatta, French, Italian, Bear claws, and the Apple Bread is fantastic. It's a pull apart bread with Apple pie filling, great for a brunch or a pot of coffee. They also offer a wide variety of jams. Super friendly and warm staff always.

Stopped at Breadsmith on a Wednesday morning. I picked up a couple of bagels, a package of flatbread pizza shells, and a few oatmeal cranberry cookies. I did not care for the bagels at all. They didn't taste boiled or chewy the way a water bagel tastes. The pizza shells we used to make mini pizzas at home and they were fresh. The edges got nice and crispy in the oven. I found the middle to be a lot of dough for a "flatbread." The oatmeal cranberry cookies were delicious. Exactly what I'm looking for in an oatmeal cookie. They are slightly thick, chewy, and sweet. There is a nice little tang from the dried cranberries. Very tasty!

Got here an hour after opening- no challah. Complete crap. Waste of driving out of my way - won't bother again.

I love this spot. It's hard to find places that are vegan. The slips are packed with flavor. The bread is to die for.

The moment you step into Diana's, you're wrapped in the warm, sweet aroma of a traditional panadería -- fresh breads, sugar-topped pastries, and that unmistakable feeling that everything here is made con amor. The pastry cases are a celebration of color and flavor -- pillowy conchas, golden empanadas, trays of vibrant pan dulce, and fresh breads like bolillos and telera rolls that practically beg to come home with you. Every bite feels authentic, comforting, and joyful -- the kind of baking that carries tradition in every crumb. The conchas are especially spectacular -- soft, lightly sweet, with that perfect sugary shell. Pair one with a cup of coffee and suddenly the whole morning feels like a little fiesta. I especially love popping in and picking up fresh bread for Sunday brunch. There's something about bringing home warm bolillos or sweet pastries that instantly turns brunch into a celebration. But what really makes Diana's shine is the spirit of the place. There's warmth, laughter, and that welcoming neighborhood energy that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The staff are so gracious and kind -- the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like familia. Diana's Bakery is more than a bakery. It's flavor, tradition, culture, and alegría all in one beautiful little spot on Cherokee Street. Auténtico. Delicioso. Puro sabor latino. -- Big Daddy Tedd Energy

Roast Beef, horseradish aioli, white cheddar, red onion on a poppy seed challah, oh my. On this day, they had something on the sweet side that caught my eye, a blueberry cream cheese Danish. I am always drawn to blueberry so I couldn't pass it up. I am not much of a sweet eater, hence the Roast Beef sandwich love but every once in a while, there is a sweet treat that I really love and this was one of those times! It was sweet, flaky, and delicious! I had a taste in the car and would have had another 1/4 after the sandwich but I ate the whole thing, I just couldn't stop. I hope they do and hope they don't have this more often!

The display cases are filled with works of art, that taste delicious. The staff is cheerful, friendly and all of them dressed in uniforms gives a feeling of professionalism. I enjoyed a Smoked Ham and Gruyere Croissant and a black coffee in house. I was to have a seat at the counter in their front window and relax while my dogs were at the doggie spa up the street. The croissant was super-super flakey and the smoked ham paired beautifully with the gruyere cheese. I couldn't come to NRB and not take home a couple of sweet treats. My favorite treat was the Raspberry Lemon Financier. It was so good the next morning with my home brewed coffee. Then that evening I enjoyed a Lemon Cake whose name I cannot recall. It exceeded moistness and the strong lemon flavor was just what I like. In addition to my treats, I got a Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie for my fur-babies pet stylist as part of her tip. My only dislike and it's minor, is that they serve Kaldi's Coffee. I'm glad they are supporting another local small business, but I am not a fan of their product. Typically when I know a cafe serves Kaldi's, I pass on the coffee, but I made an exception here.

Honestly, if you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past it. There is one parking spot in front, and then a run down parking lot behind and to the side. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in my childhood. The lime green decor, the dark bakery display cases filled with buns, and the small plates of food inside reminded me of the Cantonese bakeries I grew up going to. They also had ready to go meals wrapped up to take home. We bought a bunch of things to try. We had the beef cheung fun, siu mai, BBQ pork baos, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, and one of my favorites, the giant round sponge cake. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The roast pork looked delicious too, with nice crispy skin. The biggest surprise for me was seeing lo po beng (Old Wife Cake). We can hardly ever find it on the East Coast, so whenever we do, we always buy some for my mom. Seeing it here made me so happy. I live in the Metro D.C. area, where we have some really good Cantonese bakeries, so I wasn't expecting much from this tiny place. But honestly, Wei Hong Bakery could definitely give many of the bakeries back home a run for their money. Don't let the outside fool you. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese bakery items in St. Louis, this little bakery is absolutely worth a visit. It brought back so many childhood memories, and I'd definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.
