The entire place has been updated and expanded and there is still more work in progress. We arrived around five on a very busy St. Patrick's for dinner. We were meeting very good friends and were excited to spend some time together. The decor was so fun and the place was hopping. Even though all of the staff seemed to be extremely busy, we were allowed to wait for a table that would seat us comfortably while being a bit out of the way of the hubbub. The redone U-shaped bar area is very large with plenty of seating at the bar and around it. There are multiple long, high top tables too. The other side of the restaurant is filled with booths and tables with plenty of room to accommodate any size party. I saw tables that fit at least 10 people there. There is also an outdoor area that is under construction, but looks like it will be a very nice addition to the bar. Now on to the food and the drinks. They had so many specials for St. Patrick's Day and a large variety of them too rather than just the typical corned beef and cabbage or Ruben's. They had lots of other Irish delicacies like shepherds pie, and bangers and mash. They had all kinds of drink specials, including green margaritas, Guinness, and lots of other fancy drinks to choose from. They have plenty of beers on top and basically a full bar where you can get anything to wet your whistle. I had a two guys burger, which was basically a bacon cheeseburger, and it was cooked to perfection (not to mention it was probably close to a half pound of ground beef on that burger) along with some fries and a salad. My friend had a Reuben, which she thought was very good. My husband who loves hot turkey sandwiches ended up getting one of those and a side salad too. It was made with fresh turkey and we all know how that kicks it up a notch. Other friend got the meatloaf, which was good, but there was cheese on top and he wasn't a big fan of that. They have daily specials with lots to choose from. We had the $1 wings and were delighted with the many choices of sauces. There were so many customers coming in constantly for their carry out, too. Everything was fresh. The prices were great. Everything was very tasty and the atmosphere was fun without being too noisy. We can't wait to go back and try it again soon.

We have never had a bad experience there. Breakfast is always a winner. People are very friendly.read more

My seafood salad sandwich was amazing-- real lobster meat, shrimp, and crab meat. Jameson was an amazing host and service was superb. The atmosphere, we sat outside, was truly relaxing and wonderful on a sunny summer day. Will surely return.

Instead, we spent the night surrounded by security. I didn't have my ID on me when I tried to order a mixed drink which I completely understood and didn't argue about , but it felt completely over the top. The whole staff seemed to get involved over something minor, and security even came over to tap our table and warn us not to touch a drink that was sitting on my wife's side. Imagine trying to eat a family dinner in your late 20s while being treated like that. To make matters worse, they seated us outside in the darkest, dingiest corner of the restaurant with no lights, no fan, and spiders everywhere, even though plenty of better tables with lights and fans were wide open. Our server, Kaylee, was terrible. We didn't get water until 20 minutes after sitting down. After our appetizers arrived, we realized we had no plates or silverware. When our main entrees came out, we still had zero utensils, so I had to walk up to the bar to get them myself. And the food was just as bad I ordered the stuffed rockfish, and it came out rubbery and nasty. To top it all off, they slapped an 18% auto gratuity onto an $75 bill for a table of three (two adults and a toddler). You will never survive as a business if you keep treating customers this way. Good luck.

What a wonderful hidden gem tucked away off the beaten path in Essex--it's the last place I'd…read moreexpect to find something like this. My mom has lived just off Marilyn Avenue for years and had no idea it was here! When I came to visit, we were looking for somewhere outdoors with a relaxed atmosphere, and I was so happy we stumbled across this place. We came for lunch with my family on a Monday, and it couldn't have been a better day. Even though it was July, the weather was comfortable with a light breeze, plenty of shade, and almost no crowd--we practically had the place to ourselves. The outdoor space has three distinct seating areas, each with its own vibe. There's a grassy, creekside picnic area with cornhole, a central mostly covered picnic table section that's perfect for groups, and a stage and dock area that has a fun, laid-back beach atmosphere. The service was excellent. Both our server and the bartender were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. The food was also surprisingly affordable for the quality and portion sizes. We shared a giant crab pretzel for $16, enjoyed $0.90 wings, and everything we ordered was delicious. One of my favorite parts of the experience was simply lingering after our meal with a drink in hand. It was peaceful watching the ducks and other birds and wildlife along the water--it really added to the relaxing atmosphere and made us want to stay longer. If you're looking for a casual spot to enjoy good food, reasonable prices, and a beautiful waterfront setting, this place is absolutely worth seeking out. We'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

The bartenders and servers were all incredibly friendly, kept checking in on us throughout, and everyone at the bar was welcoming. The $9 crushes were a great. They were made with freshly squeezed orange juice, which made them taste fresh and not overly sweet. The Italian cold cut sub was excellent, loaded with meat and very flavorful. The Maryland crab soup was okay. It tasted more like a vegetable soup with only a small amount of crab, and I think it could have used a bit more seasoning. I also tried the chili, which came with onions, cheese, and sour cream, along with tortilla chips on the side. It was hearty, but I thought it could have benefited from a little more acidity and cumin to really make the flavors pop. Overall, the food was good, but the friendly service, relaxed waterfront setting, and entertainment options really make Brewer's Landing worth visiting. I'd definitely come back for the crushes, the Italian cold cut, and to spend an afternoon enjoying the atmosphere.
