Jason is such a professional! He shows up on time, comes prepared to answer questions and give suggestions, keeps in contact and responds by text or call in a timely manner. I never thought I'd say this, but I just had an GREAT experience with an electrician! This is saying something when you consider how hard it is to find reliable contractors for ANY trades in Tahoe. I called Jason to fix a wiring problem with a GFCI circuit in my kitchen. Not only did he quickly diagnose and correct the problem with a bad ground wire, he also fixed a problem with my low voltage lighting just by going through the breaker box and tightening connections. This kind of attention to detail and quality of work is not something you see a much of anymore. I appreciated the fact that Jason was prompt, personable , and communicative . He also called ahead to let me know that he was going to be slightly delayed. That may not sound like much, but it reflects a lot of professionalism that is missing these days. Call Jason for any electrical problem. New Years Eve, 2014, called at 2:30pm with a fried CGFI outlet in my kitchen. I was expecting to pay top dollar being so late in the afternoon and on New Years Eve. "Today is just another work day for me". No extra fee and was at my door in 15 minutes!! Done repairing the burned outlet in another 15 minutes. Cleaned up any mess he made, was polite professional and explained everything he did. When I first called Jason I thought we had a relatively easy job of upgrading some ceiling lights and adding a couple of fans and bedside lights. To make a long story short, the job became much more complicated, but throughout Jason was calm, professional, honest and supportive. When the job was finished, he had installed or upgraded over a dozen ceiling lights, hung fans from cathedral ceilings and managed to move wiring around what seemed like hundreds of studs hidden behind our walls. Well, all of the good reviews are for naught! Jason explained to me when he got to my house that he is not NV licensed but is in CA. I proceeded with him due to all of the reviews I read, including from NV customers, that said what a good electrician he is and how he stands by his work. Well, a light fixture fell from the ceiling and I hired Jason to fix it. I paid him $85 for approximately 15 minutes work. The "fix" lasted one day. When I called him to have him come back, he didn't answer 3 phone messages in the same day, until I texted him. Said he was out of town with his wife and would fix it a week later, today, at 330pm. He just phoned and said he is not a regular electrician, even tho his site offers a groupon of $150 value for $100 cost, and he is posted as an electrician in NV on YELP. Said I need to find someone else to fix it. No offer to return any part of the money paid. Although he said he didn't want to make an enemy, he said I need to do what I need to do. So here you go Jason, probably the only honest evaluation of your work ethic and professionalism. read more
