Ive been going to breakers for almost 10 years now and its always been a 20 dollar fee to hold a table and play for 2 hours. Tonight, this little 5 foot tall nerdy Gen Y looking feminist of a man that I've never seen before tried to charge me 40 dollars to merely play on a table for one hour. I'll notify you this, besides from the noob and his little man syndrome issue. They typically hold whatever money you agree to pay on your card for up to a week or more. Whether you're there for an hour or two or not. If you agree to pay whatever ridiculous fee the idiot at the counter gives you, then they will hold that amount on your card for up to 2 weeks. Usually not returned might I add. I come there once a month because I work 24 day straight like a real man in order to afford whatever I want to afford on my days off. Which is 2 a month. This little man syndrome child I initiated conversation with I. Order to conduct business, proceed to tell me that his less masculine self has never seen me there before (his problem being not mine, as the consumer but being the profiteer with lacking memory management practices) and that I was to give his little power stroking enthusiast self 40$ to merely play for one hour in his less than professional establishment. Now, I'm not saying that the company he works for lacks professionalism. I'm simply saying that their choice in hiring employees is under developed. More or less, this kid was an idiot trying to pres an over priced and under developed place of employment and the bar he sat behind appeared to be some what of a booster seat and guard rail for hound idiots with attitude. You don't have to remember my investment you idiot. What matters is that I invest. If your intelligence hasn't Rosen past your current level of "bar protection and 4 foot masculine output" then it's best to just pass the rod of professionalism to some one that knows how to run a business.. The cost is five dollars per person per hour. I realize it's a business and they have to make their money.But what I don't like about that setup is you have to quit in the middle of a game if you don't want to pay for another hour. But to be fair the place is clean and the pool tables are perfect, the pool cues were well kept, the bathrooms were small but clean, the staff was very welcoming, and the clientele as pretty chill, the music was eclectic. My son and I went to Breakers Friday evening. We ate dinner and played pool. The tables were reasonably priced with an option of table size. He ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and I har the Philly. This was the best tasting Philly sandwich that I have had in a long time. This was our first time trying Breakers and if I had to describe it in one word, it would be "good." My husband and I both agreed that it wasn't the most amazing food we'd ever eaten, but that if we ever ended up there again we wouldn't be mad about it. He tried the cheeseburger and said it was cooked perfectly to order (medium). I tried the beef tacos and was impressed with how well seasoned the beef was. The tacos were not greasy at all and tasted incredibly fresh even though they were delivered a good 30 min after they had been cooked. We rounded out the meal with an order of potato skins. I stepped into the building holding my water bottle because it's summer and I'm trying to stay hydrated having just gotten off a flight and the rude 4ft tall guy working comes running up to me and demands I leave and put my drink outside. It's one thing to ask nicely or politely inform me of the policy but I am from out of state so how would I know? Trying to find a spot close to our hotel for a night cap; this place had good reviews so we stopped in. The experience was just not good for us. Coming to a bar in Kentucky and the house bourbon is heaven hill.. we got major issues. For such a large bar area the liquor selection was minimal, bottles where backwards and unable to read, and the Bourbon choices were not impressive for a bourbon based state. Bartender was pushy and incompetent on how to make a Long Beach Tea. As soon as he rang my order he rudely asked me before I had a chance to pull my card out if I was going to pay? Didn't appreciate that at all. Paid 6.75 for a LBT that was made with a premixed liquor and too much sour. If a patron orders a Long Beach Tea, please make these drinks by hand people! No one seemed like they were enjoying themselves, the bar was very bland and the vibe for a pool hall just wasn't there. Typical bar food on the menu a tad expensive for basic fried fare. However we did not try the food, based on the previous reviews people really seem to enjoy it. At first step into the Breakers Grill you might be discouraged since it looks like a typical pool hall with a bar. It doesn't take long to see how neat and clean this place is. The tables are brushed clean every day. The air is smoke free and the owners and employees are friendly. The bar is well stocked and appealing. The menu looks like regular bar food. I have had the cheeseburger and it's delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich has a lot of flavor and the fries were good. There are pool tournaments quite often. A dart board is tucked in a corner. Pool and dart supplies can be purchased there as well I'd bring a date here anytime. read more

As soon as I walked in my friends felt the need to warn me about the bartenders and staff about how rude they were and I realized very shortly after, that you basically can't breathe without having an employee come up to you complaining. Jalapeño poppers are great! First two Philly Cheesesteaks were awesome, a little dry last two times.

I've heard nothing but good things here, we've been wanting to try it. My daughter was in the hospital most of the day and night, and we were both hungry, and as we were leaving, it was late, but we seen that you and just a couple of other restaurants were open. She begged me to order here instead of going to Waffle House. It said you were open until 2:30, so we placed an online order, and paid for it, our total came to 52.85, which was fine, except we didn't get it how we ordered it. I didn't notice until we got home, which was too late by that time, and also, when I walked in, there was a young man complaining about cooking after a certain time. So I feel like our ordered got messed up on purpose because we ordered too late, but it was only 1:20 when I got there. So with that being said, I don't think that we will order here again, and I probably won't recommend this place to anyone.
