    Open-Faced Prime Rib Sandwich
    A.j. P.

This spot is amazing!! Service was excellent, Clayton was spot with his recommendations and quick with water refills. I like every table has great views of the TVs, with sports on every tv you're not missing anything. The food was excellent, I started with their famous potato cheese soup and my main meal was the open face prime rib sandwich. The soup was tasty and for the price it was great. With the sandwich you get a mountain of the fresh cut fries. This place is worth the time and effort. ***Flight Attendant approved***

Im a flight attendant and eat out often and in many different cities. I think I get exposed to plenty of different types of servers and levels of service. There has been a noticeable decline in good service most places and that's not specific to one place.... With this in mind is what made Jennifer S with somewhat curly hair down to her shoulders a total stand out. It was easily the BEST SERVICE I had received all year from any restaurant. I've been a server for years before so I know what to look for, and what it looks and feels like. The most wonderful thing about it all was she was not even trying to impress me she was just being herself. Jennifer never wavered in her excellence from start to finish. Just little unexplainable things even that just took my impression off the charts. She offered me a sample of the soup, glad she did I didn't like it unfortunately. She had great sales-ability but wasn't pushy which I love. She was attentive but left me alone when it was appropriate. I never had to ask for EVEN ONE THING.... She was intuitive and a step ahead of everything. Also not to be overlooked in the slightest her demeanor was so pleasant and just happy which is just not as normal of a thing anymore as you might think. THANK YOU Jennifer for Clocking in and showing up it absolutely did not go unnoticed. I've eaten here before. They are known for their made in house dressings so if something sounds appealing try it! Odds are it's fantastic. I hadn't come in time for the lunch duo before... talk about Value in today's economy. And it was delicious too! It comes with a honey butter croissant which is delightful. My next layover I'm absolutely coming back! The sweet tea was like the perfect amount of sweet for me too, really good balance of flavor. If you are in town and thinking of trying this place, do it. You're not gona regret it.

I go to Rafferty's whenever I am in the mood for a big delicious salad. There are many to choose from and they're always fresh. It's usually crowded, but still easy to get into and they have plenty of servers, and the food comes out quickly. A nice choice when you're in the Florence area.

In Florence for training. I thought I might try J Alexander's, but decided to go all the way to Rafferty's. The House salad with honey mustard salad dressing with bacon was good. There was something hard in the salad. Getting a table took a few minutes when it wasn't busy. The prime rib picture didn't come out, but it tasted great.

The honey croissants are to die for. I've had various entrees and none of them have disappointed. The pasta is usually my go-to.

The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

We should have just left at that point but our kids were hungry. Dinner was finally served and it was good, but no one seemed very concerned about how long we waited. We asked for our check and then we were given the wrong, much more expensive check. I'm not sure if they were understaffed but the restaurant was only half full when we arrived. I wish we hadn't dropped $90 on this dinner.

The building is beautiful as is the interior. There are lots of little rooms and the tables are pretty tight. It was a bit difficult for wait staff to get around, but the service was still attentive. Two of us ordered the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich w/ fries. That darn sandwich was delicious!! It was sticky as all get out, but it was delicious! I'll apologize now; my pic is so blurry I hesitate to post it, but I'm going to anyway. The other person having the Pork Tenderloin also enjoyed it. Mark ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown. He said it was loaded with ham and it was salty. He finished every bite, but he did say he wouldn't order it again. One person loved her Cod (she didn't eat the bread) and another said the shrimp and grits were very good. The menu has lots of options. I mentioned we would be happy to come back sometime for dinner. We bought some chocolate cookies (they are by the hostess podium) on the way out. They had a nice chocolate and salt flavor, but should have had more chips.

You enter a classy foyer to be greeted by a well dressed hostess. There are multiple beautifully appointed dining rooms. Greyhounds abound in the decor. We split a chicken salad croissant sandwich and a Reuben on rye. Both were amazingly delicious and even the coleslaw was memorable. They were packaged up so nicely, including the requested utensils (we were staying in a hotel) and handed off to me in a big sturdy shopping bag. We were seated in a booth in a quietish room and it was lovely - we could hear each other and see other spots but it was a bit like being in our own little world. The food was great. I had the Alaskan halibut with crab and creamy risotto and I loved it. My husband had the pecan-crusted chicken. We both had salads, and I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. I thought we were going to rent a U-Haul for that piece of cheesecake. It was about 1/4 of a big cake. It was good...not my favorite carrot cake, but good. Lovely experience and will definitely come back - so much better than the chains everywhere in Crestview Hills area.

He brought us a menu and excitedly described the lunch options. Once we made our decisions, he brought us hot Chai tea to sip while we waited for our food. The meat fell off the bone of her lamb shank and my chicken stew was beyond delectable. At the time of this review (March 2025), the restaurant had only been in operation for about 4-5 months. So, the minimal decorations and decor are probably because the restaurant is so new. I'm sure the owners will make the place look a little nicer once they are able sustain and stay in business.
