They know the regulars by name and cajole about family. The menu offers breakfast or lunch, with tenderloins as the featured items. Prices are inexpensive. Food comes out quickly. The tenderloins are premade and frozen. They are thin and the breading is flavorful. I had the daily special, a Tenderloin Manhattan which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. This was pure comfort food. The potatoes and tenderloin were good, but the gravy was over salty for me. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was ok and the fries were really hot and good. An article on the wall indicated that Artie, the original owner, passed away in an auto accident in 1954. A local business award plaque hung above our table. I'm not sure that the shop is A.D.A. compliant as there are steps at the front door and the aisle is very narrow.
