Came Tuesday morning, place was empty. Our server was efficient, fast and attentive. Food was fresh and came hot. The place also looked spotless.

What a pleasant surprise! Very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious with excellent presentation. Our waiter was great too. If you are traveling through Kansas on I-70 this place is worth stopping for! In addition to excellent food with phenomenal presentation, they have a full bar with very fun cocktails.

Stopped here on a Monday morning - and service was great! Food was fantastic. In fact, it was so good that we decided to have a post-graduation get-together here! Called Breaks and made a reservation for our party of 13. Mind you, this call was made weeks in advance. We showed up after graduation - only to be told that they were not going to honor reservations that day. Instead we had to wait for a table to be available. It took about 45 minutes for that to happen. Things only got worse from here. Once seated and our orders were taken, it took two and a half hours for our food to arrive. Yes. Two hours and thirty minutes. Kids in our party were exhausted and crabby. If that wasn't bad, the food was cold... People at other tables just left after waiting for an hour. Do not blame them at all. No apologies from the staff or management. Just a "we've given you a small discount. Thanks". Will I go back? Probably not. Nice place. Expansive menu. Good decor and vibe. But awful service. Avoid.

This is supposed to be a Chicken Picatta.

The full version is on Google Review- The guy running this place is a tool and completely unprofessional. Over 1 hour to get our food and the food was terrible. Whoever is working the kitchen doesnt know the menu- clearly burnt the food. Then this clown proceeded to talk trash when I left a review. Says it all. See Google review for a laugh. Dont WASTE your time or money. They clearly couldn't handle a little rush when I walked in the place was nearly empty- the table next to us after 40 minutes was told half of their food had to be changed because they ran out. Total disaster. ( as shown on google) OVER ONE HOUR TO GET OUR FOOD- There was litterally a single large group in the back and the table next to us and food was even longer for them. When food did come out- it was one plate...at...a...time, FOR EVERY TABLE! Its pretty crazy when you wait for over 40 minutes and then they tall you they ran out of French fries. The table next to us had it worse, but the food was terrible. Chicken Picatta is what I ordered, but what I got was some unusual burnt deep fried chicken pieces on top of spaghetti- no lemon flavor, no wine flavor, barely any capers- and dude, come on. Canned artichokes?! When you bite into it- its mush and it holds the flavor of the can! Barely any flavor whatsoever and that broccolini was DEAD. Dont WASTE YOUR TIME. AND THAT FLOOR SUCKS! MY FRIGGIN EYES HURT. That white and black pattern is crazy. Anyway, Check your menu pictures and look at what I got ( see below). Wifes food was also bland, I actually liked the tortellini but the chicken is clearly twice cooked- nice and dry....They need some help in that kitchen....but I wouldn't want to work there. An hour?! Anyway wife got her food first- then mine about 5 minutes later about 8:55 and then we left hungry- we tipped the waitress the normal 20% - she was nice. We left after 9! I literally thought Gordon Ramsy was gonna pop out and shut the place down ( LOL) UPDATE; NO BOSS, there was barely anyone there and that group was not that big. If you cannot handle the capacity of your restaurant, perhaps communicate with your tabels instead of wasting their time. As a Prior cook- I wouldn't have served what I got. My palate was expecting what was shown and written on your menu for $18 dollars...definitely not worth what we spent all the way around. I worked the saute line- I know how it goes. When you run out of something, you 86 it immediately and waitresses know about it. That table waited 40 minutes before they found out. Anyway- I appreciate the response but my point remains. This place is a disaster. 2nd Update BOSS...Isn't it funny I got a faster response ( less than 20 minutes) on my review than I got my food? Perhaps monitor the restaurant and not the internet - yall were expecting the review and rightfully so. Talking shit? Lol Listen "drama queen". I also run my own business and am already once retired. I dont screw over my customers and then cry about it when they respond. Are you implying I burnt the chicken myself? Typical of a sore loser- blame the customer. Grow up dum dum. You suck at what you do. I kill it with what I do. Your floor still sucks and so does your food. TRUTH HURTS I GUESS. I SAY IT LIKE IT IS GUY. Its okay though, I paid my bill. You are clearly going to need the money. P.S. In the Military, we throw the BEST PARTIES. CATCH UP GUY.

A cup of Tomato Bisque with a Chicken Cutlet Club Sandwich. YUM!

Henry, our server, was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. My friend and I enjoyed lunch, and it was her first visit. She had Eggs Benedict, which she said was delicious, especially the Hush Puppies. Although they were out of my first choice, the Spicy Fish Sandwich, my second option was the Chicken Cutlet Club sandwich with avocado, bacon & trimmings. Very good, although a little messy, but that's what napkins are for. I ordered a cup of Crab Bisque as a side and there was some confusion as I got Tomato Bisque. Upon pointing it out the Henry, he made it right by bringing me a cup of Crab Bisque, so I was able to eat both soups! Both are great, but Crab Bisque was AMAZING! This was a quiet place for lunch. It's clean and very ascetically pleasing to the eye.

The food was amazing and so was the service. If we are ever in the area again we will be back.

I travel with my job, and I am in Hays every 3 weeks. The fish, cole slaw, and hand cut fries are delicious. The food never disappoints! The service is pretty good too...

My husbands drink was made incorrectly and he received some kick back when he brought that up to the bartender. We've been to several fuzzys in several states and the beer rita has never been made like this so I don't know why the bartender claimed it was how it is in the recipe book. My breakfast tacos were supposed to have (according to the menu both in store and online) eggs, pico, chorizo, bacon, cheese and garlic aïoli . They showed up a greasy tortilla filled with just meat and cheese. I had to go back up to the counter and request my other ingredients and literally just made my own tacos at the table. My husband's quesadilla was literally dripping liquid to the point that he squeezed out what he could, wrapped it in napkins and said he'd just "fix it when we got home". We ended up walking across the parking lot and dining at Applebees where we received cheaper food and drinks and MUCH better service. It's a spacious restaurant with a cute patio so not all bad

The hostess was super customer service oriented and the server was also very much so as well. We saw that they had lunch specials for $9.99 and also Oktoberfest specials on beer: $4 pints & $5 tall steins. We ordered: Cheesy Sticks Starters, 2 Old Chicago Chopped Salads, 1 Oktoberfest Beer, and 1 Heineken 0% Alcohol Beer. Everything came out within a good amount if time: about 7 mins for the starter, and 10 mins after that for the salads. The cheesy bread was pretty good, hot and flavorful. It came with a marinara dipping sauce. The salads were tiny and served in small bowls. They definitely were not worth $10 each, but maybe $3 each, as they were side salad size, not lunch salad size. We had excellent customer service here so I kept it at 3 stars. The food quality and portion sizes was a bit off.
