I used to believe in the whole "no pain, no gain" approach to massage, but she completely changed my perspective. It's not that the work is just softer, it's more effective. Instead of digging into the same knot over and over, she works the connected areas and releases the tension that way, so the knot actually resolves without the whole session being painful. Relaxing during massages has never been easy for me. I usually spend half the time trying not to tense up, but she's the only therapist I've had who can get me to fully relax for the entire session. If you're looking for someone who really understands how the body works and doesn't just go through the motions, I highly recommend her. I called them on a Friday afternoon and was able to book for the next Saturday evening. Their site lists them as closed at 7pm on Saturday, but our appointments were for 7:30pm. Then I learned they work out of a professional office building suite and the air conditioning for the whole building shuts off for the weekend. The hours on Saturdays have been extended over the summer to 8pm because with the heat, it is impossible to be open at all by Sundays. The office is a little strange since it is a very cramped suite within the professional building that you have to dial in to enter, but after entering, I was still open minded. Our msssueses did not have any particular uniform, but were quite muscular and almost intimidating to look at until with full friendlyness, they started to help us get settled and offered cold beverages while we filled out our paperwork. Next, we got into the private massage room, which was quite clean, pleasant, and included soothing music. The air conditioning was not a problem at all, as the room was a comfortable temperature, and they had plenty of fans that could be set up if you were too warm. The massages, themselves, were incredible. We both had full body with hot towels, and what an experinece it was. My masseuse was incredibly talented at finiding and working through any knots or tension I had, and my boyfriend had the same experience with his. The massage was deep - I'm still feeling some spots where he had to dig in. It was thorough. He was considerate of my pain tolerance and asked often if I was ok. I walked in because my lower back hurt, but when he first touched my upper back, he asked: are you sure it's just the lower back? Your upper back is in knots. He was right. He gave a full body, deep tissue massage and I walked out easily. A day later, I can walk pain free, turn my neck fully without pain and I feel like I can go on about my life. The front desk attendant walked me through a detailed pamphlet. She carefully explained all the package options and pricing. She spent time with me going over everything. Yet not once did she mention that prices would be increasing just days later. There were signs everywhere (literally and figuratively). In the lobby, at the desk, even in the bathroom. They advertised Venmo and cash discounts, along with flashy handwritten promotions for package deals. If there was space for all that, there could have easily been one sign that said, "Prices increasing next week." But there was not. No sign. No warning. No courtesy. I ended up returning four times in one week. I was genuinely excited about the place. The pricing was great, it was near my home, and I could walk in anytime. It was not perfect. The AC was broken, the lotions were cheap, made disgusting noise like lubricant, and the so-called CBD cream was fake. I just brought my own massage cream just to improve the experience. That is how much I wanted to make it work. I referred a friend who purchased a package and told the staff I wanted to start weekly standing appointments. The day before the price hike, I mentioned my plan to commit to regular sessions. That would have been the ideal moment to say, "We are raising prices. Would you like to lock in another package now?" But no one said a word. Then, during my final prepaid session, the front desk attendant informed me my package had ended. I said, "No problem. I will get the same one again." She replied, "We raised the prices." No explanation. No thank you for my loyalty. Just a newly printed pamphlet with whited-out sections and scribbled-over pricing. They were trying to erase the past. It was a bait and switch. Lure people in, get them excited, and then quietly raise the price with zero accountability. Still trying to be fair, I wrote a respectful letter to the owner, Rachada, explaining my concerns and giving her the chance to make things right before I posted a review. I gave her the notice she should have given me. Her response was somehow worse than the price hike itself. She took no responsibility for the lack of transparency, offered no apology, and instead sent a condescending reply suggesting I should be fine with the increase because her therapists are underpaid. She literally wrote: "I am sure you have had a cost of living increase in twelve years. I am sure your pay has increased yearly. Can you appreciate that my therapists are struggling to make ends meet?" That kind of assumption about my income is completely inappropriate. My financial situation is irrelevant. I was a loyal client asking for fair notice. Maybe grandfathering the previous pricing or a courtesy extension. She also tried to justify the price hike by saying it was to support her staff. Using your employees struggles to justify sudden price hikes, while still offering fake CBD, cheap products, broken AC, and no service improvements, is not only misleading. It is exploitative. There was no grace period. No loyalty gesture. Just excuses, deflection, and zero ownership. Bottom line: This business operates on bait and switch tactics, manipulative justifications, and total disregard for loyal customers. If you value honesty, professionalism, or even basic respect, go elsewhere. I already have, and I will not return.
