I've been seeing Sukanya for about three years now, and she's easily the best massage therapist I've worked with. I used to believe in the whole "no pain, no gain" approach to massage, but she completely changed my perspective. It's not that the work is just softer, it's more effective. Instead of digging into the same knot over and over, she works the connected areas and releases the tension that way, so the knot actually resolves without the whole session being painful. Relaxing during massages has never been easy for me. I usually spend half the time trying not to tense up, but she's the only therapist I've had who can get me to fully relax for the entire session. If you're looking for someone who really understands how the body works and doesn't just go through the motions, I highly recommend her. First,I'd like to say the massage by LA was 5 stars. But unfortunately booking the appointment was very difficult and so was finding the location. I left 45 min early from my hotel and ended up 21 min away because the address and dot for their yelp location was completely wrong. I also had to take a toll road and gave no idea how much I incurred in toll fees. I asked her (owner?) how to find them & she texted me a completely different address (correct one) that was 21 min. away. Why had she not sent me that after I booked the appt!?!?! I had found them on yelp so I assumed that address was right. Woman I spoke with was argumentative and English was broken. Stressful situation, unprofessional owner, and massage is in a tiny 10x10 room and noisy due to adjacent studios. I wish this had been a better experience. When I did arrive the female owner was there but scurried away and I could not even talk to her. I have no idea what her name even is. Strange business manners. LA handled it like a pro and was great at providing a nice massage. read more
