Wasn't overly excited with the steak as most weren't in our party. There are much better restaurants in the area

We were intrigued by it's fusion tapas style, even though we had originally thought that it was a Spanish tapas place. I was with a party of six, and we were served by an extremely friendly server that night. We ordered some tacos, flatbreads and a mango papaya salad. Each dish was quite well prepared, and since it was a mix of a lot of different cultures' foods, I was satisfied with the level of authenticity. However, because they were trying to do a lot of different styles, I feel like the quality was not as good as if they did something more focused. Also, I think it would be worth it to consider some more substantial dishes like a fried rice, etc. I know it's a tapas focused place, but I found that for a party of 6, I still didn't feel too satisfied after trying all the dishes we got. I hope that they can continue to upgrade their menu, because I think it's a really nice place already, but improvements can be made. I also think that since it's mostly serve in a back alley patio right now, there were a lot of wasps and it wasn't the cleanest back alley, so that is my other reason for giving this place 3 stars. I'm sure that when they get back to serving in their unit, the quality of the experience will go up!

They had a Christmas pop up section and moved us there as well. Had some great options including Christmas cocktails. We ordered Huevoes Rancheros but the eggs came out overcooked and the hashbrowns were stale. We sent it back and second round was much better. Overall server was nice. May not recommend it for takeout.

My…read morefriend from Toronto drove to Mississauga with her partner, and we settled on Pump House Grille. Honestly, the food was good but I had to take some marks off for the service. First, the kitchen staff was very evidently not wearing masks properly - over four had their masks pulled down over their chins and/or fully exposing their noses. Second, the service was painstakingly slow. It took them over half an hour to serve our dishes after we placed our orders. As for the food, I ordered the lobster avocado wrap but with the tiger sauce on the side as I was worried it'd be a touch too soggy. I think it was a good decision as the tomato and smashed avocado were sufficient to make the toasted wrap wet already. The lobster was decent - there was more meat than I expected, but some of the meat was quite soft (not al dente as fresh lobster often is). The bacon and toasted wrap helped add some texture mouthfeel, which I appreciated. For those wondering, the "tiger sauce" was a slightly spicy, sour mayo-based sauce. My friends ordered the Cuban panini and the sliders. Both found the food portions to be quite generous and were stuffed after the meal! Overall, it was a decent experience. The patio is a tad too close to the road so it can be a bit loud, and do be prepared for a wait if you plan on eating here.

So it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, unless you have a small group. The service was very friendly and clear. The kitchen is right behind the counter, so you can actually see the team working together efficiently. Even on a Friday night when there was a ton of takeout orders coming in, they stayed organized. That said, be prepared to wait a bit, this isn't "fast" fast food when they're busy. Shoutout to whoever was DJ for the night! Great music choice that made the wait more enjoyable. The fries were my favorite part! They're pretty thick cut but still crispy on the outside. The cookies and cream milkshake was good, but it tasted a little too milky for me. Overall, a solid spot if you're craving good fries with your burger.

Fresh meat - never frozen and cooked to perfection - love the chat around the edges. Had the half and half - french fry and onion rings. Both were so so. Nothing to write home about. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Penne (5/5), Beef Dip (4/5) and Fish and Chips (5/5). Grilled Chicken Penne was deliciously creamy. The chicken was juicy and the mushrooms were bouncy. The pasta sauce had a faint taste of wine which was pleasant. The dish also came with garlic bread. Beef Dip was good. The sandwich was packed with sliced beef. The only thing that would've been nice is if we were given the option to change the cheddar cheese to either Swiss or mozzarella. The onion rings were fresh and crispy. Fish and Chips were enjoyable. The fish to batter ratio was perfect. It didn't feel like I was eating mostly batter. The fries were really good too. Overall, the portions were big and the service was fast. Our server was friendly and kept checking in on us which was nice. We'd love to come back again to try other items on their menu.
