Do not come here!!! Do not waste your money. The owner is actually insane. I came in (only one there) and asked to get my car smogged. This place charges $138 for a smog check if your car is older than the year 2000 and refuses a free smog check. I called to confirm pricing on Friday and they stated $48 for the smog check and a free retest. I even confirmed online. I come in, and he quotes me for $138 and did not explain anything to me prior. He told me to take a seat and started to work on my car without telling me the breakdown. I paid $138, with no free re-test and they failed my smog. My car does pass smog but because they couldn't find the label on my Cadillac converter confirming its model, they failed it. No other smog place would ever fail that car. The emissions were perfect but because THEY couldn't find the label, they didn't want to pass it. I feel, they intentionally failed my car to get my money and for me to come back to spend another lump sum. Never go here. You'll be better off going down the street. Truly. read more

But I gotta say this place was honest with me about pricing they're were recommended by my boyfriend he's been taking his cars there for years . And till this day he still does. So we took my bmw in to get smog test for the dmv. When we dropped it off they told him how long and I said cool and then we went to brea best diner down the way . Yummy great food there!! If you ever been to the smog place you know what I'm talking about. Once we were done eating time to walk back to the smog place again to get my car back so as we walked back I'm not going to lie my fingers where crossed saying silent prayer in my head hoping it pass smog. So I paid what I was quoted nothing less or more. Came in as a "walk-in" and there were a half dozen cars ahead. Was told around an hour and at 54 minutes car was in the bay and by 70 minutes all was complete and cert transmitted to DMV. At $56 out the door this was very reasonable to others in the area read more

Owner is insane. I calmly asked why the price was $60 instead of the $48 he quoted me over the phone. Instead of simply explaining that he offers a coupon negating the smog certificate fee on his website, he raised his voice about how everyone knows smog certificates are $8.25 and that certificates are exactly the same as sales tax. I found this place by googling it. I called around 5pm, but no answer. A few minutes later, they called me back from a "missed" call. I was impressed! So I went there without an appointment. The gentleman who helped me was so nice and friendly. I noticed that he was that way with all of his customers. I waited about 10 minutes before they took my car in and then maybe about 15 minutes for my smog check. The waiting room was air conditioned, which was great! Very poor customer service. I even called ahead and was told they would take us. When my wife and I arrived, the gentleman told us to wait in the parking lot until he was done with another vehicle and that he'd come out to help us next. We waited the whole time -- small parking lot, windows down, very visible -- and he completely ignored us. When he finished, he didn't say a word and just started closing up. I later called the owner to let him know what happened, and instead of taking responsibility or showing concern, he tried to dismiss his employee's behavior. Overall, very unprofessional, not helpful, and zero communication. Definitely won't be returning. read more

I would bring my car back again with one caveat. The one who smogged my car was smoking in the shop with my car window down. When I arrived, he was smoking outside and then lit another cigarette while my car was being worked on in the garage. I'm not a fan of smoking and I think it's rude to do so with other cars around with the windows down. I don't want that smell in my vehicle and I think it's inappropriate for someone to smoke with my car being exposed on the inside. For this reason, I won't be back. read more

So I took my older second car for a smog and had some complications. It was a bit of an arduous process but they were helpful each step of the way. Also there is a coupon on their website so make sure you use it! And for those of you curious of my smog complication - please read on: I had my catalytic converter replaced with an after market part and the sticker on my car didn't match my CAT- so they told me I had to go to a "referee" to have them verify the CAT and add a sticker to my car that reflects it was approved. I won't lie a part of me thought this was a scam because I had passed smog 2 years earlier with the same CAT. It turned out to be legit. I got my sticker from the referee and had them verify my CAT was ready for smog. (Note to self: make sure to start car from time to time because drive cycle isn't fun ). None the less they were friendly and accommodated free tests to verify my CAT was ready for smog. read more
