I called ahead to see if they had time for a smog check. They said yes! The business is one stall on the corner of Beach/Lambert in La Habra. I pulled up and the technician told me where to park. He told me to wait by the chairs while he performed the smog check . He also offered me a cold bottle of water, which I accepted on this hot afternoon. He proceeded to do the test and shortly after I'm leaving with a pass and my smog certificate! *$58 for test and certificate ! read more

As military personnel who is trying to not just survive but thrive due to unforeseeable circumstances. First, I was disappointed that I had to pay $49.95 when I failed the smog test. Also, if I go back there, it's going to be $39.95 which comes to a total of $89.90 which is $90.00. I left feeling hurt, angry, and upset. I don't have the money at this time to pay $90.00. Came on my day off, only about a 5 minute wait because there was one car in front of me. Waited about 5 minutes after the guy gets my car, asks me if my converter has been stolen before (I drive a Prius). I tell him yes, and I had a catalytic converter shield installed. The guy thus tells me that he can't do the smog check service for me because he needs to be able to see the converter. I get slightly upset, but he told me he can't do anything so I guess that was it. Cool, we move on. I figure, hey, I'm already out of the house, so I go to another spot about 15 minutes away (also about 5-ish stars on Yelp) and they finish and sign off like there was zero problems. Takes less than 5 minutes since there was even no wait. Here I am, writing this review, because the guy at this spot not only wasted my time, but also clearly hasn't dealt with a catalytic converter shield before. read more
