It's not something that I would do frequently, but the occasional treat and a little self pampering does wonders for the soul. Prime nail bar is very spacious, looks to be very clean, and we did not wait more than 5 minutes as walk in. The man who did my pedicure didn't handle ingrown nails the best, but he was pleasant and polite. I could tell he and the woman who did my boyfriend's pedicure were talking about us from time to time in their language. (Very common but it was NOT subtle). The owner was up front at the counter greeting customers, she seems to be very involved and she is so polite. I definitely wouldn't mind giving Prime another chance. It was not too bad of an experience.

As a skin cancer survivor I do not do gel due to UV light but she kept pushing it. Very frustrating. And their regular polish options are EXTREMELY limited. I opted for the Signature Pedicure. The place you put your feet was very hard and uncomfortable. She barely did anything to the bottom of my feet. There was a man working at the manicure area who sounded like he was snoring but he was very much awake. One of the ladies who works there was getting an IV in the pedicure area. And worse the polish barely lasted. This place is a hot mess.

I opted for just a fill on my overlay with gel polish and a gel manicure for my daughter. My nails are almond shaped and some were not shaped the same as others. I wasn't upset when I left because this wasn't my regular nail salon so I figured it wouldn't be 100% what I'm used to...but the next day my polish chipped, my middle finger nail on my right hand my nail overlay chipped off, and my daughters gel polish peeled off. I'm not sure if I caught them on a not so good day due to holiday or what. Sad to say I've seen this place many times due to shopping at HEB and went in on a whim but I doubt I'll be returning.
