Yes! I have been coming for ages and love supporting this family business! These lovely sisters have been in this neighborhood for years and years. They take their time and do a good job, are always open (rarely taking time away from work) and are always friendly and accommodating! I feel like part of the community while I'm here relaxing and giggling with these ladies and the other patrons. The facility is older but it clean and has everything needed for a great mani/pedi. I go to this nail salon because it's super close and convenient. I can almost always get an appointment when I call ahead (they take walk-ins too). Is it the best nail salon? No. Is it one of the friendliest nail salons? Yes. My pedi chips within days every time which is unfortunate & I have to fix it. But they're close and convenient and I will still recommend them. Finally found a great nail salon! The technician actually took the time to shape my nails correctly and continually asked me if I was happy with how they were turning out. Definitely don't go if you are short on time because they really make sure it is done right and you are happy. Edit: thought this was a good salon but the nail techs are inconstant depending on who you get. My last manicure was terrible. She did give me a discount but just beware. read more

The service is always wonderful, but don't go in a rush, as they take their time and pay attention to detail(after doing paying, they'll clean under and around nail to be sure it's nice and professional). I've been here about five or six times before leaving a review, because none of my reviews would have been very gracious; since the ladies that work here are SO nice, I just kept wanting to give them chance after chance....! But no more. Today I walked in with my father (my mother and I made him realize years ago what good some pampering can do!) and there was only one other customer in the salon. Here are the less than pleasant things we had to deal with while getting our nails done here: - Cold tub water!! - Dad had to wait 30 minutes in the chair next to me before anyone could help him. - Overscrubbing and over filing of my feet--OW! -Language barrier!! I told her THREE times to NOT remove the polish on my toes, I only needed ONE nail with a split fixed. She removes the polish on all of them. *facepalm* Also, I'm tired of them being frustrated with ME when I can't understand their thick accent behind a mask. Like that's my fault? -STRONG chemical smell permeating the entire salon. -Cheap ass, tacky, zero effort decor. - The material on the chairs stripped, peeling, and in disrepair. - One of the owners young kids practically climbing on my lap, pushing my chair, and walking into the bathroom when I'm in it. Some people are kid people, I am not. Sorry! THIS IS A BUSINESS, not a romper room--keep your kids on a leash. - Stylist took FOREVER on my acrylics and I wish I could say that it was because she did a good job. It wasn't. Most of my nails are tilted, unevenly positioned, or have a drastically uneven surface. The corners of my acrylics are so sharp I could cut through motherf*ckers like wolverine. - THE DRILLS. God, if I had a dollar for every time they nicked my skin with that stupid drill bit, I would have a free manicure. Also, she wore my already thin nail down so far two nails have nearly exposed nail beds. 8 hours later they are STILL sore! -The entire treatment on my hands was VERY rough. No gentleness at all. Unfortunately, I've experienced most of these things every time I've gone there. But this was by far the worst visit yet, so now I HAVE to say something. Yes, my toes are beautiful, but I was so unhappy with having to tell them over and over to be gentle that the point is moot. I know they aren't mind readers, but if I TELL you several times to take it easy, then back off! Jeez. Sorry ladies, prices are cheap here for a reason. read more

I love this place! Not only is it within walking distance to my house and has a mexican restaurant next door, to get margaritas at when I'm done with my pampering, but it's one of the best nail salons that I have been to in Austin. I have never had a mani or pedi there that I haven't loved. I also get my brows waxed there regularly, and they always come out looking perfect! I get several compliments on how nice my eyebrows are :) The girls there are very very sweet and do a great job! When ever my Mom or sister are in town I always bring them there for some "girl time". Be leary of getting your nails done by the lady with messed up thumbs, they are pointy and the edges are gross like dried ingrowns. I should've thought not to let her but we were going on a trip. Many years ago she did my nails and cut the sides of my thumb nails too and ever since I've had ingrowns which I never had before. How evil to do that! I guess because hers were so ugly she wanted to that to mine and I pray she's hasn't done that to anyone else. : ( to this day they bother me, and I totally blame her for ruining my finger nails!! read more

If I could rate a 0 I would, called prior to getting there for a pedicure once I get there there's no customers just me, picked out my color which they didn't have much options, got to where I was seated and noticed they didn't use a plastic cover they just put my feet in, I had gel prior so they had to remove it once it got to that step they used pointy nail cutters to try to remove it then proceeded to use the 1$ files to try to remove all the gel from one foot, mentioned it was painful and they went a little gentler but at this point I realized I didn't want the other foot done I just wanted to leave and go to another place. Told them I would like to leave and they proceeded to ask for the full payment of my pedicure which is 35$ but at this point all they had achieved was removing gel off one foot after 20 min. Told them I'm not paying 35$ she said 20$ again I was not willing to pay that I said 5-10$ max if that's what you would like, the lowest she went was 15$ and at that point I just wanted to pay and leave, never again am I stepping foot into this place just for the lack of tools and sanitation reasons, would not recommend even stepping foot into this place. read more

Gone here a couple of times and wasn't too impressed. Went here recently again to get a fill before my trip to corpus. They close at 6pm and I showed up at 5:20. One of the ladies that work there told me she couldn't take me in because she "had a 5:30 appointment" and was very rude about it. She told me to come back the following day but I couldn't because of me leaving out of town. I waited in the parking lot looking for a different nail salon and by time I found a different and better place, it was 5:40 and still no one has showed up for this appointment I was kicked out for. Shows how much they care about getting business. Also a few of my nails were placed on crooked and chipped easily. I won't be going back unfortunately. read more

This is my neighborhood nail salon and I feel fortunate to have such a nice establishment just a few blocks from home. They are always friendly and accommodating, and fast! I always get the same thing, a mani/pedi with a French. It makes no difference which technician does the work, my nails always look great. The French manicure painting is always the same (white part is same thickness and curve), this consistency is a huge plus for me. Reasonable prices, friendly techs, clean shop, consistently well done manicures & quality products; what more could a girl want? read more

I ONLY have been coming here because the location is so close to my work... However it's terrible. I've gone three times now hoping for better experience.... NOT HARDLY. First off don't bother getting any type of service here unless your willing to literally spend over an hour.. I'm honestly shocked/confused on how it takes this long..... I've had at least 3 bleeding fingers every time. They take soooooo long and the shape isn't ever correct or even !!! I'm done I tried I quit ! The Decor was old school and not in a good way. I sat in the chair for almost 10 minutes and want offered the control to work my chair. Will not return! I decided to try this nail salon because of the reviews and the fact that its very close to my apartment. At first everything went great but then it took a turn for the worst. While the lady was doing my fill she cut/burned me 5 different times. I'm a television host which means it's imperative for my nails to be perfect. They are far from perfect. Cuts on my cuticles and uneven nails! I also got a pedicure which came out alright but it took forever and I have had better. Watch out for this place. read more

Went in at 4:40pm on a Sunday knowing they closed at 6 PM m( after looking up salons in the area) no one greeted me, but were quick to tell me to come back tomorrow because they couldn't help me since they were very busy with the ONE person waiting to be help within the hour and twenty minutes of them closing. I have been going to this place for years!! I love each one of the people that work there. They are very nice and I always leave having great looking toe nails every time. Yes, they are from Vietnam and speak their language, but they speak English too. I've been coming here every few weeks for pedicures for 10+ years. They are always so friendly and genuinely care for their customers. Everything is always very clean, and my toes looks great and last for 2 - 3 weeks without chipping. And that's with regular polish, not gel! Unfortunately, the lady didn't seem to know what she was doing when I asked for almond-shaped nails. I showed her a picture online and she acted like she could do it. She was very nice, patient, and polite most of the time, but when I showed her at the end of her shaping how most of the nails were different lengths and if she could at least file them to match the opposite hand, she got a little defensive and said they were going to look different since one of my hands is bigger than the other! And that was because earlier she admitted she accidentally cut the middle nail too short. Because she spent a lot of time filing, I let it go after she tried to fix it but I think the most professional thing to do would be to offer to fix it or at least give a discount. Very nice ladies but I don't think I'll be going back, at least not for almond-shaped nails. read more

I recently moved to the area and have been going to this salon for about 8 months. At first, it was good, which is why I kept going back. But recently, the last 2 times I've been, I have "walked" out with some part of one of my feet bleeding. Not to mention the times my fingers have been skinned/burned by the grinding wheel on my refills. Sorry, Dee, but you've had your last chance. I will be finding another nail salon, even if I have to go back to the salon I went to in Houston for over 10 years. The money I saved from my Houston salon would just about pay for the gas it takes to drive over there. I know cost of living is higher in Austin than Houston, but I am not accustomed to paying ~ $50 for blood. Thanks, but no thanks. read more

HORRIBLE service! They upgrade your services, even when you decline them (ie: spa pedicure-I said no, they did it anyway); they charge too much on your credit/debit card and then don't make it good and they just aren't that customer-oriented and the communication is just awful.
