Very warm waiting area. Chelsea, the nurse, checked me in. She was super kind. She took my blood, my intake, weight, etc. I was THOROUGHLY afraid of getting my blood drawn but Chelsea honestly diddddd make it simple, quick and a BIT less painful. I still felt the pinch BUT she also put numbing solution on me and of course I am going to feel something. BUT it did NOT hurt. Just the jitters. Dr. Ebi came in and evaluated me. Did the checking of the lungs, heart, etc. He didn't check my ears or throat - idk if that's too old school of a practice BUT he was kind. We spoke about my needs and he was helpful. A week later, he called me to discuss my results from my blood work. It was perfect. I read that he was a doctor that truly gets down to the nitty gritty so that was one of the reasons I chose him. I won't say I can't wait to go back lol. BUT I am happy that I was able to find a new PCP who is more about ensuring health is wealth.

Because we were under a significant time constraint, Chelsea, his nurse, went above and beyond to schedule us for a visit right away. She was always pleasant, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We truly appreciated how promptly she communicated with us and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Special thanks as well to Michelle, who was instrumental in introducing us and coordinating our visit with Dr. Ebi. Her assistance made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The clinic itself is very impressive -- clean, modern, beautifully designed, and clearly well organized. Everything runs smoothly, and communication from the staff is always clear and prompt. During our visit, Dr. Ebi not only helped us with the medical certification, but he also took the time to address my husband's additional health concerns, including sleep apnea and weight loss. He was thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and proactive in addressing every issue we brought up. We never felt rushed, and it was evident that he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. We highly recommend Dr. Ebi and his team to anyone looking for compassionate, efficient, and high-quality medical care. From: Dr. Gutierrez. (UCSD Geriatrics)

I am beyond frustrated and heartbroken with the way this ABA therapy company has treated our…read morefamily. The level of inconsistency and lack of professionalism has been unbelievable. First, they suddenly removed our child's long-time supervisor and behavior therapist without any warning, explanation, or transition plan. We were simply told a new therapist would start "soon"... but weeks turned into months, and still no one ever showed up. It has now been over THREE months with no Behavior Therapist for my child -- a child with autism who depends on stability, routine, and support. The communication from this company has been absolutely terrible. Calls and emails go unanswered for days or even weeks. Messages get ignored completely. Promises are made and then broken over and over again. Staff members, including the BCBA, often disappear or "ghost" us without any follow-up. As a parent, this has been emotionally exhausting. We trusted this company with our child's development, progress, and well-being -- and instead we received inconsistency, neglect, and empty promises. I would strongly caution other families: if your child needs reliable, consistent ABA services, look elsewhere. Our experience has been nothing but stress, disappointment, and lost progress for our child. Our kids deserve better.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are harmful and have no sense of responsibility to their clients or…read moreinterest in their clients' needs. Three days after my very young and inexperienced BI thanked me for being so welcoming to her and creating a great working environment (we had bent over backwards to make everyone on the team feel welcome and amicably did everything they asked us to do, including move my car out of my own driveway so the BI could park there - yes, they asked me to do this), she quit with no notice saying she felt uncomfortable. There was no attempt to talk to us or have a supervisor talk to us. On a Friday, she told my children she would be back on Monday. On Monday, we received a call from her supervisor saying she would not be back. That left my son without the services he desperately needs. I spent that week looking for another company and trying to work things out with insurance. That Friday, I was told they had another BI available and we could start services the following Wednesday. On Tuesday, the day before we were to start services, I got a missed call from the BI's immediate supervisor. Instead of leaving a message, she sent a text asking me to call her, yet she failed to tell me what the call was regarding. I figured it was about starting services the next day, but as I have a difficult time trusting the company after they left my son in the lurch, a few details in addition to "call me back," would have been much more professional. When I called the woman back, we confirmed the start date for the next day, but I reiterated my displeasure about the manner in which everything had been handled. I also let her know that I wasn't pleased her supervisor hadn't called me, as she had told me 8 days prior that he would. About an hour later, this woman's supervisor did call under the guise of trying to work things out. At first, he came across as wanting to listen to my concerns. However, after I detailed everything that had harmed my 7 year-old autistic son, he flatly informed me that their policy was to let BIs leave a job site with no notice or attempt to communicate with the client and that the policy wasn't going anywhere. When I let him know how harmful that was to their clients, usually children who need services, and the effect it had had on my child, he told me that was how it was. He also launched into a defense of the company and excuses as to why I was going so long without services. When I told him I needed someone who could commit to my son and that I am in fear that we will start with someone else who will also leave with no notice, he told me he couldn't guarantee that wouldn't happen. That is a HUGE problem! I also let him know about the issues I had with the BI's immediate supervisor who had done nothing to intervene and mitigate the situation and also underestimated the time it would take to get a new BI. Additionally, on the phone call the day before services were to resume, she issued a veiled threat by asking me if I was really willing to work with her team, which I let her supervisor know. He repeated the veiled threat. I told him that I had no issues with the new BI and would be very nice to her, as I was to the old one, and that the only person I had an issue with was the supervisor, but that for the sake of my son I would work with her as much as needed, but as little as possible. This was when he told me I was telling him that I was not willing to work with the supervisor (not at all what I had said), and that we would not be getting services until we had a team meeting. I tried to argue this point, as my son needs services, but this man was not interested. So now my 7 year-old son is not getting his needs met, and I am looking for another company. If I could give them 0 stars for their lack of concern for their clients and their clients' best interests, I would.

Choosing Holding Hands over other facilities is the best decision I have made. Everything is clean ( including their restrooms) Toys are sanitized and well organized. Everyone is friendly and warm. One more thing I love about this facility is that they LISTEN. It is very important to me that people will listen to my concerns, and even if I dont say it, they will give suggestions and inform me of what I need to know, they are able to adjust to and accomodate my requests to meet the needs of my daughter and they were able to resolve issues professionally in a timely manner. Our BCBA Michelle and Janise are very smart, competent and knowledgeable, my daughter's therapist, Angela, is very professional, efficient and dedicated to her work. All of them have been very supportive, understanding and patient, I cant thank them enough for everything they have done. My daughter is hyperactive and runs away from me, she refused to hold my hand or sit still when needed, thats why its hard for me to take her out in public places by myself, its always been a struggle, but she has changed so much just a few weeks of her session, I will never forget the day I was able to take my daughter with me as I run errands, she walked next to me holding my hand. We were able to overcome elopement challenges because of their help. I have learned so much from them and appreciate everyone in this facility.
