It's okay. The first time I tried this place it was extremely good as I am addicted to sweet treats. Decided to try the soul cakes this time around...bought 2 one was delicious the other tasted like old food. My husband brought home some cupcakes that were given to him by his customer. I got to try the cherry cupcake and pina colada flavor. I can't believe how the first bite gave me a huge smile! I love that the cake part was not to sweet and the icing sweetness gave the entire cupcake a perfect balance of sweetness into every bite as it should be. Ive been to many cupcake shops and a lot makes them to overly sweet. The bakery itself has soooo many options: cupcakes, cookies, brownies, donuts, cake pops! Plus her specialties like banana pudding and souls cupcake! The soul cupcakes are only there Saturday and Sunday but definitely worth it, it's a whole "soul" meal in a cupcake! Super comforting and definitely addicting. I strongly advise you to make sure you are including all Info about your special event(example: #of guests, date of event,location) I would even attach pictures during the e-mail process to eliminate back and forth e-mails! Her deserts were PHENOMENAL! Everything tasted amazing, was beautifully crafted and decorated with so much care! The event was probably a smaller order than her norm but she still went above and beyond. Her customer service was the most important part of our experience. Upon arrival she was super sweet, kind and even though she probably had more than a million other things to do she put it all on hold and helped us set up without even a second thought to it. I wish I had taken the time to take a full picture of her completed set up and all of her amazing treats but as soon as the party started everyone rushed the table! I wanted to finally go see Brees shop! Bree and her family were so welcoming and so funny. I got to try the Maple Bacon Donut, Pina Colada Cupcake, Soulcake, and The Banana Split. All were so dam delicious! Not to sweet and was so happy to see that the frosting was buttercream. Honestly the best experience at any bakery and was happy to actually see Bree.
