I would give 0 or minus star if there is the option. So we took Breeze Airline from San Bernardino to Provo UT with transit at SFO. Schedule to leave at 12:25 pm in the afternoon. The plane was delayed 4 times. The plane was flying from SFO to SBD airport and later on they told us that there was a mechanical problem that got fixed. Finally we took off at 3:55 pm. About 40 min flying, an announcement saying that the plane was diverted to LAX ( Los Angeles ) d/t problem with the de-icing mechanism. After landing at LAX, there were few Breeze representative on the ground but NONE of them really helping any of the passengers. All they said was " Customer Empowerment " will be sending you an email regarding what to do. There was no help in term for hotel accommodations, meals, ..etc. I really felt sorry for all the elderly and few with handicaps that just being dropped off in LAX and be on their own. There was no customer care at all. My take on Budget Airlines is that if everything goes well, then there is no problem. All is great. But once problem occurs, this budget airlines has no real customer service department. Or very minimal. May be 1 or 2 persons doing multiple tasks. So everything is web-based services which is most of the time, there are no options that specific for customer needs. The crews, pilot are not to blame. But the company, as a customer based service, especially calling " Customer Empowerment ", should do way better than just dropping off all passengers in a different airport and be on their own. Really bad. And I would not recommend this airline, nor taking Breeze Airlines in the future. read more

My wife and I recently flew from San Bernardino, Ca. To Provo, Ut. And return. My wife is in a wheelchair. We were first to board and she used her own wheelchair all the was to the plane at which point her wheelchair was checked. Her own chair was waiting for her at the gate when we arrived. Everyone was helpful. It was a great experience. For reference, my first flight was in 1955 aboard Western Airlines and there have been many flights since. Breeze really favorably impressed me. read more

No way to cancel within 24 hrs online! WHAT THE HELL! Shall we start with "cancelation is a breeze" or "we are here to assist on your time, not the other way around." After spending a non breezy amout of time trying to find where to canel for refund instead of credit I turned to chat. It begins with, Our small team is behind. Then it tells you to go about your day until they text back. 24 hr cancelation is time sensitive. Way to piss off new excited customers. Great job. read more

I flew from here once they opened the Utah destination. It was actually a good price. Cut to todays prices, round trip was over $200 if I wanted carry on. It's cheaper to fly from Ontario, my round trip with delta was $115 read more

If I could leave negative stars I would! Due to the global glitch for airlines we could not reach our destination. I contacted breeze through chat option as they have no live person to speak to. I explained the situation, they said they understood as they had grounded flights too...here's the problem. Due to their policy they will not refund any flights, even though it was a global glitch. How can they get away with that, not to mention their people online are absolutely useless and rude. TSA was awesome and easy to navigate. Airports nice. Bar is clean and terminal is nice as well. We had the rudest flight attendant named Angie. As we were boarding my friend asked to use the restroom which was locked. She said go ahead and when he mentioned it was locked she responded with "yes, so people don't use it." After my friend used the lavatory I got up to do the same and she put up her hands and said "no, you need to sit back down." I mentioned we were still on the ground and luggage was being loaded and she said when I close the door, you can use it. Just very rude and complete lack of courtesy. As we pushed back she called someone on the phone and she was even rude to them, "uhm are you gonna give us an update or what?" My Mom worked for United back in the day and my friend is a Flight Attendant for them now. Night and day with regards to the service and rude demeanor from Angie! read more

Oh My God ! never flew with them . never got by the booking process, First of all Air fare from Orange County to Provo like $68.00. Is that cheap or what? Practically had a organism. So I start the process . Come to find out if you want a seat to sit in it bumps the price up from $15.00 to $45.00 depending on the seat and availability. OH should you want a carry on Add $35.00 each way, and of course if you want to check a bag well thats another $35.00 each way. In the end their about the same price as the major carries with larger budgets for back up rides should one break down. Just a added note their web site makes you put all your info in before you see the final price so you're invested. Not my way to do business and I think the general public would like a honest number up front with normal upgrade options. I've never rated an airlines before but I had to on this special occasion. My flight was from San Bernardino to San Francisco International and I was seated in a dense seated area of the plane. It created a cluster phobic situation but then came Jocelyn and Aleena and they helped me find a less dense area on the plane with no questions asked. They were both professional and friendly and understanding. this was my first flight on BREEZE Airways and I highly recommend this airlines for the price and the comfort level. Aleena and Jocelyn, thanks again for your professionalism and friendly attitude. That's what truly makes an airlines !!!! read more

Breeze Airways We are truly shocked and disappointed at how terrible your customer service is once you damaged our luggage last week from San Bernardino to San Francisco. Upon receiving our bag that was intact in San Bernardino and completely damaged and useless when arriving in San Francisco, we searched for an hour and a half for Breeze Airways Baggage Claim Desk or any Breeze Airways representatives near baggage claim or even back at the Breeze Airways ticketing check-in counters. There was nothing available and there was no one with whom we could file our claim after spending one and a half hours trying to get assistance to have a claim filed for the damage Breeze Airways inflicted on our luggage. We e-mailed with all detailed photos and exact, explicit details of the entire process and incident and Breeze Airways, you told us too bad, sorry you will not help us. This is very sad frankly unacceptable, Breeze Airways. You need to do better by stepping up and making this right. Thank you. read more

When I arrived at the airport I was very impressed with how clean and organized the terminals look. The TSA check in went great, they were very friendly along with the breeze personnel that greeted us first. When I got a snack while we were waiting in the nice lounge where are you wait for the planes, the snack bar attendant was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean all of the seats were brand new, and the walkway into the place was very nice. The flight attendants were very welcoming and the captains very honest. The flight was a short 55 minutes there, and 57 minutes back. I would highly recommend using breeze airways to fly from San Bernardino airport to San Francisco, as they made it feel like a regular flight anywhere else, for a low cost. The plane is a smaller plane so there are only two seats on each side, water is the only complimentary refreshment (other refreshments are available for a reasonable charge) , but that is the way they are able to keep the cost down. Use of the internet was also free. I also enjoyed the brevity of the flight and the pretty smooth take-offs and landings. We plan to fly with them in the near future! read more

I wanted to take my young sons on a plane, so we went to San Francisco on a weekday. We packed light and were able to get great prices on the tickets that way. On the way home, my three year old was upset about having to wear his seatbelt during take off so our flight attendant gave him and his brother peanut M&Ms and that did the trick! Thanks to the caring and friendly crew, it was a wonderful experience. I hope a lot more people will take advantage of the affordability and convenience of having a local airline minutes away from home. read more

Only bright spot is the somewhat cheaper flights although you can get a similar priced flight through Frontier with much better customer service and less risk of not flying. 90% of my flights were delayed for at least a hour. 50% of my flights were delayed for at least 24 hours. There are no replacement flights if they get delayed. I was somewhat ok with this until I had to deal with the customer service. Multiple reps told me they would comp a hotel night but not travel expenses although they equaled the same amount. Why would they prefer I miss a day of work instead of paying the same amount to fly home? Especially given they have a large history of delaying flights for 24 hours. They did not answer. The final straw was when "Dee" the "Guest Empowerment Supervisor" stated that "Future questions or comments sent regarding this matter will not be addressed" when I asked for further clarification. Disgusting customer service. Fly Frontier out of Ontario instead. Not worth the headache. read more

Very nice airplane, excellent price, excellent service and San Bernardino airport.....AWESOME! Unsanitary, unreliable, & unprofessional - LAX-BDL, BDL-LAX This was my experience doing a round trip with Breeze from LAX to BDL and back, with BreezeThrus in between both times (NC and PA). Trip 1: (LAX-BDL) Totally fine. The flight was delayed somewhat, but I always arrive at the airport way earlier than I need to and bring things to do, so no biggie. I did notice that there was some stuff on the seats, which I dealt with-- the airline doesn't seem to have a regular cleaning procedure between flights, even without counting Breeze-thrus. I did get lucky, as my minimum price ticket still got me a window seat without paying extra. Cleaning aside, I was very satisfied with the airline at this point. Trip 2: (BDL-LAX) I arrived at BDL and the flight was delayed by half an hour because a flight attendant was running late. But hey, shit happens-- (hopefully that's not what the crusty brown stains on my seatbelt were, though!). The pilot mentioned the late attendant by name over the intercom and pinned the blame on her. Up until the Breeze-thru, I was a slightly irritated but figured it's a discount airline and you get what you pay for, right? In PA, their baggage handler hit the plane with the luggage cart and got it stuck under the nose of the plane. How do you do this? No clue, but there's no way the handler was following proper safety and operating procedures-- and it's not as if we were having extreme weather or other conflicts, this was user error. The pilot asked all passengers in the front to go to the back so they could shift the plane's weight to help remove it, and then had us wait for a maintenance check on the damage that should take 'an hour'. After several minutes, they had us deplane and bring our belongings with us. Well, the plane seemed to have failed whatever inspection they did, because it needed a full maintenance checkup (which, frankly? I doubt was due to the luggage cart being gently stuck under it), so we had to wait for Breeze to fly in another plane. The flight was supposed to leave Connecticut at 7:05 EST, take off from PA around 9:15am EST, and arrive in Los Angeles around 3pm EST. At 5pm EST, we were still in PA and not boarded. The new plane arrived, but the gate attendant's repeated requests to board were reportedly met with nothing (for an hour) before discovering that the new plane was having issues taking potable water as well as issues with the electricity, and maintenance needed to look at it. The airport tried to send a Breeze representative over, though I'm not clear on what they would have done. The customer service text line is serviced by a bot and the airline refused to give any information on compensation until after the flight had taken off. After over 12 hours spent in an airport or airplane, I managed to get from Connecticut to Pennsylvania, when I could have gotten significantly farther spending that time in a car. At 6pm EST, we hadn't yet finished boarding. We finally arrived at the LAX airport a bit before 12am EST. It was lucky I'd brought food along-- because Breeze never gave anyone so much as a 1$ meal voucher while this was happening. They did, however, offer us 100$ worth of Breeze points post flight (redeemable within 24 months.) I have to give them credit for this, because it's the first intelligent thing the airline did in handling this trip: they effectively gave us nothing while covering their asses from USDOT reports about not following their terms, because few if any passengers who were on this flight appeared willing to book with the airline again. I found Breeze Airways disgusting in both a literal and figurative sense-- don't waste your time. read more

Thought I'd give this airline another shot after my last trip losing $1600 on an AirBnb in San Francisco departing from SB when they refused to check bags 39 minutes before departure. Apparently, there is a 40 minute cutoff. On to my flight today from SB to Vegas. Original departure time of 12:57, then 1:22, then 1:40, then 2:07. Finally got on the plane at 2:40. Here we sit on the runway not having clearance to depart for some reason until 4:00. If that actually happens we will be a mere 4 hours late all while my Turo collects hourly charges as it's parked in short term parking in Vegas. San Bernardino Airport itself is a breeze, Breeze airlines is anything but. They're going to have a hard time filling these planes up operating like this. read more

Another low cost carrier like Spirit and Frontier. The only different is that they give you 50lbs allowance for luggage as compared to 40lbs luggage and they has chargers at every seat along with an extra tray to hold your phone/tablet. All customer service is on text message or FB messenger. Every leg of our flights were delayed at least 30 minutes and they damaged my luggage which I am still sorting out with them 2 months after my flight. read more

Avoid if you want more than a 50% chance to get to your destination. My wife and son were stuck at SFO, booked for a flight to San Bernardino. They announced a 1 hour delay, then another one hour delay, and so on for a total of a 8 hours of incremental delays. Then finally, they decided to cancel the flight. Nice going Breeze, but trying to fly with you is not a breeze. read more

I booked a flight from RDU to San with Breeze Airways on the website it said 129.00 The rep was even nice to add free carry on bag. Paid the 129 but then all of a sudden that price wasn't available . HMM, but for another 110 dollars a seat was available . no way I stayed on the phone for my refund to show in my bank account , then called another Breeze rep and what you think happened another seat was available (oh my ) of course went through the how is it now a seat that a few minutes ago was gone . Bottom line lower fare was to lure me into getting the higher price fair . I don't like doing business with shady companies , I'm sure the higher prices would have been available but thats not what got me there . Flying is anything but a "breeze". Company does not care about it's customers and does absolutely nothing to try to right their wrongs. Customer service sucks and there isn't even a number you can call. Do not get lured in by the cheap prices! It's not worth it! Specific complaints: 1. There's no money refund if your flight gets cancelled. 2. They do not assist you with travel or lodging accomodations if they cancel your flight . The airport has very limited hours (for example, today they were only open from 10am to 1pm) and they have the audacity to kick you out of the airport if you're waiting for a ride. After they cancelled your flight. After they don't ​help you with transportation. 4. Did I mention that they don't even have a number you can call if you need help? Yeah, there's that. read more

If I could give less than 1 stars I would. I had booked a round trip from salt lake to San Bernardino. The first red flag was after you agree to the price of the ticket, you have to also pay for the seat depending on placement and there were not seats under 15$, even way in the back. Next I needed to switch my flight return date and the app was not letting me do this and all of the "support pages" were saying the same thing so I ended up contacting them via Facebook messenger as there is no phone number to use. They took a very long time to respond but eventually they had me do some things that were unfruitful and ended up telling me to cancel the flight for breeze points and rebook for the flight I wanted. The flight there was uneventful but note that the "nicer" option is the only option that has room under the chair for a personal item. However this does not mean there's leg room because there is not. You also only get water. The flight back was much different. It was cancelled and because it was cancelled too close to flight time (give or take 20 minutes) I was unable to do anything in the way of request a refund or cancel or change the flight in the app. So again, as there is NO PHONE NUMBER, I went to the app and expressed that there should be a contingency plan. I was told that because this was my original destination, and the cancellation was due to weather, they weren't liable for any travel or lodging. I can see where this might be acceptable, except this isn't my original location, it only seems that way because I had to rebook as a one way flight. Regardless I just asked for a refund and I would be on my merry way to the next closest airline where I secured another flight because I didn't want to wait until tomorrow. However they then told me that because I booked the flight with breeze points, I can't get a refund and can only get breeze points. Even after explaining to them why I booked with breeze points in the first place. So not I have a bunch of breeze points that will never get used because I won't be flying with breeze again. I do not recommend, the customer service is ridiculous. And not talking to a real person for specific situations like this is tiresome. They nickel and dime you but then cut corners wherever they can. I was even kicked out of the airport into the cold because my ride took too long to pick me up after my cancelled flight. read more
