I always fly China Airlines out of Ontario airport to go Taiwan. It is a much easier travel experience with minimal traffic and shorter lines and quicker passage through TSA. The service is consistently friendly, and the meals are very good especially when you splurge for business class. They have lay flat seats and slippers and amenities bag. Premium economy is also quite nice but just no lay flat seats.

The arrivals experience on China Airlines to Ontario is certainly interesting. You have to walk outside a significant portion of the time to get to customs and there isn't much in terms of shopping or amenities. However, compared to LAX it's much faster. At LAX it's an hour to get your bags after getting off the plane. Here, it's ~10 mins. Much much more convenient than LAX.

Just check in to China Airline! Where are the 0 stars Got pick on by the counter attendance name Anna Xiong indicating my package where oversized I ask them to double check and she insist that they need to consult with a supervisor Name Naomi Perez, by far the most ridiculous supervisor you can ever encounter. Package only past by half a inch and try to rip me off $159 Trying to ask for an exception as the package only weight 13 lbs she impolitely declines I was upset and ask for a manager, the rude supervisor simply claim there isn't a manager I can talk to she is the only one available. Afterward I saw a China Airline manager Alan Wong on duty. Explain the situation to him! Not only he decline to comment and simply refuse to talk to me and gave me a dirty look Where the hell is their customer service Obviously they do not care It is time to go to Eva Air and stop wasting your money with China Airlines

It is very fast and secure. Staff very nice , she instructions me how to get through check points to my kid . Quickly service , I'm luckily not get trafficked. Airport is cleaned , I'm feeling fresh air every time I go there .

Now travel to Taiwan is super easy and convenient for those who live around Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar, Walnut, Upland, Pomona, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga, Inland empire or if you are just sick and tire of Traffic around LAX. Although there have no duty free shop, no restaurant to chose from....but I am just there to take the flight..not there to shopping.... The other things is I miss the China Airlines employee....these agents here are clearly not China Airlines staff...but still great service..new agents are slow but willingness to participate and learning

The best highlight was when he let us taste a brand new, unreleased Barbera and Pinot Noir blend straight out of the tank! Such a cool, VIP experience. Here in Temecula, you had Vincenzo Cilurzo (another Hollywood refugee), whose weekday job was that as a Light Director for Merv Griffin, see IMdB. Vincenzo and his wife Audrey planted 40 acres and that are considered Temecula's first vines in 1968, then along came Ely Callaway, then Joe Hart and the rest is history. We have visited over a dozen plus vineyards in Temecula and they're all a lot of fun. Each offers up a little history and a taste of their best for a few bucks. The wineries we continue to return to are Callaway, Wilson, Wiens, Hart, Ponte and South Coast. If you find one you like, I would recommend joining their wine club. Many of the wines aren't sold in discount stores. We would also suggest trying some the restaurants attached to the Winery, like Meritage at Callaway. As a postscript, Vincenzo & Audrey Cilurzo sold their winery in 2004 to Imre & Gizella Czirakis and they renamed it Bella Vista. Vincenzo died last year, but the family stayed in the Temecula area. Debbie was our guide and Kurt was our driver. When you get to the winery, Debbie provides you with a drink card. You get six taste tests (1/3rd of a glass) that is checked off by the wine stewards. The whole adventure takes about 4 hours. Overall, it was fun and a great opportunity to try different wines and see the beautiful wineries in temecula. Now, why the 4 star rating?? ~The bus featured a great sound system where we could choose songs from an ipad. But it was unbelievably warm inside. It was a hot day and the AC seemed to not be working, leaving most of us sticky. We were told to open one window at the front and at the end of the bus to let the air flow. After the first stop, most people just opened all the windows to get a breeze. One guy was close to just taking off his shirt. ~We felt that one of our stops at mount Palomar winery was rushed. Our package did include a charcuterie. And we ordered some other appetizers right when we arrived. We ended up having to cancel them since it still wasnt done and we were heading out. This also led to rushing to get the remaining sample tastes. A reciept check showed it was a 30 min visit. ~My other minor disappointment was that our guide stated they could only take photos through their phone and not our own. But Debbie's photos often came out with this unfocused glare. Rather than something crispy clear. So we took group selfies instead. You might want to take a selfie stick.

David the speaker and tour guide was excellent. We learned so much about the process on how to grow and cultivate cacao trees then ferment cacao. He educated us about the process to the completion from the bean to bar and packaging of chocolate. He also informed us the quality versus quantity of chocolate manufacturing. Which was very interesting. During this whole process David showed videos, slides and also had us try cacao beans and different types from different parts of the world. From there we moved on to the chocolate factory and how they are made. We then placed our masks on once we entered the closed section. It was fun and unforgettable experience. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed it. We also got to try more samples. After the chocolate factory tour we bought some ice cream and LetterPress Chocolates. Definitely fine and quality chocolate.
