Pros: - Some of Yan's stretches felt nice - She checked in if it was "too much" throughout Cons: - Yan told me if I wanted a deeper massage, to pay more for the Thai massage. I said sure and we agreed that my sore spots were my neck and my shoulders... She proceeded to spend 80% of the time massaging my butt checks. - I'm sure Yan gives a nice massage to those that like a medium to light pressure. If you're looking for a deep tissue or knot relief, this did not deliver. The massage itself was a bummer because it just really didn't relieve my tension - but I'll take half the blame there because I did not speak up during the massage. That was my bad. The reason for the low rating fell is really due to 3 factors. 1. She left the room numerous times for elongated periods of time. At around $1.50 per minute, it felt borderline rude? 2. There was a gentleman who came in asking to see the rooms for a couples massage the next day. The masseuse left the room to help him, and he walked around... while my door was opened, while I was exposed on the massage table. 3. At the end of the experience, there's a borderline predatory-feeling back room where she sat next to me while I tipped, grabbed the QR code for the Google reviews, and proceeded to touch my phone and input 5 stars. She asked 3 or 4 times to just "Submit it now. Write something nice now." as I tried to get up to leave towards the door. Given the number of positive reviews, this may simply come down to personal preference and expectations. I look for strong pressure focused on problem areas and a professional, low-pressure environment. Unfortunately, between the mismatched massage style, interruptions during the session, and the uncomfortable checkout experience, this ended up being my least positive massage experience so far.

Let me start off this is not being wrote with hate or anger…read more We booked a month out for a birthday celebration. (Visiting the area from out of state.) Process of booking was great and easy! Fast forward to our appointment day, two massages for my best friend and I. I called and asked if they could bring us in a little earlier than the original apt time and that wasn't a problem at all, another smooth process. We arrive, two massages, 30 mins, we get on the phone with the manager and she clarifies some questions. The woman who was working with us in the massage room hands the phone to my friend and says, one of you may be pregnant, and the lady looks my friend up and down. She's not pregnant, not a big deal but it was how it was handled it was not professional at all. So after the insult, they have us get ready/undress and such. They come in and leave the room several times with the door open and we both have no tops on and are not covered since they were massaging our backs. This is while they are holding conversations in the hall way. To say kinda uncomfortable is being light. Massage ends they're super nice, language barrier is a thing I understand. Again not a big deal. But having the manager on the phone to translate and not there is a little chaotic, checking out the lady asks before I use my card how much do you want to leave for a tip. I have had many services done and never been asked...I do tip, that just caught me off guard. But again maybe she wasn't sure how to use the credit card machine? A lot of miscommunication but overall odd and uncomfortable experience.

They will change your appointment times and your the therapist you schedule with, without telling…read moreyou. And they do not treat their employees well. Do not go here! 1st appointment: I went about a month ago. The appointment was booked on their website at a time that was listed as available. The business decided to reschedule the time [on the same day], and not tell me. I was irritated but didn't complain and showed up at the new time they assigned to me. Fortunately, the massage therapist I got, Alex, was excellent! During the massage, I told him that the time was changed on me without notification. He apologized on behalf of the business and told me that unfortunately, it has happened to other clients before, but it is out of his control. Alex helped my chronic leg pain a lot, so I decided to reschedule. 2nd appointment: I was scheduled to see Alex tomorrow for another session. A notification was sent via text to me today to confirm the appointment. I confirmed. AFTER confirming it said that a different person, Richard Perez, would be treating me. I scheduled with Alex, not Richard. This is not OK. I RE-scheduled with Alex for a reason. I left a message with the business, but didn't expect to hear back in time about it, so, I contacted Alex, whose number I have because I asked him for some doctor/health info after my last visit. I asked him, 'what is going on?' Alex informed me that upon putting in his 2 week notice, he was immediately fired. This is beyond NOT OK. I will never support a business who treats employees like that. Amazing update as I type this!!!! Richard Perez [owner/therapist] just called me as I'm typing this and apologized for switching the therapist on me. Ok, thanks for the apology, but... When I told him I'm not ok with how he runs his business, he started talking over me and defending all of his actions. He said its not his fault he changed the time on me. [Who's fault is it when you own the business?] He had no response to that. I told him what Alex said about being fired after putting in his 2 weeks. Richard defended that too by saying, "we didn't need him and his 2 weeks was a courtesy to me. He didn't have to do that." So you fire him? That's not how that works RICHARD!!! Richard then proceeded to accuse Alex of 'stealing' his former clients. Excuse me Richard, but I went to your office 1 time and saw Alex. Therefore I rescheduled with Alex, not you. This does not qualify as stealing clients. And in no way did Alex EVER say anything bad about you. In fact, he actually said good things about you and said that you [Richard] are a good massage therapist who is currently attending chiro school. People who 'steal' clients do not promote their former boss. And FYI Richard, I have yet to reschedule with Alex. I don't even know if/when I will go see him again now. He's not my 'buddy'. I met him for the first time at your office and he helped me with some serious issues I have, so I wanted to see him again. Alex is simply your former employee who is a nice/responsible/professional person [3 things you aren't] who doesn't want to work for a Richard like you. I don't blame him. Don't blame your former employees for your own personal flaws. Back to the phone convo: Richard was argumentative and wouldn't listen to me. He continued talking over me and accusing me [and Alex] of odd things. I had enough and I stopped him by saying he's running a "s****y business" and doesn't deserve any clients the way he treated me or his former employee. Then he called me a "F-ing stupid client who wants to get his a** beat!" WTF!?!?! Do not visit this person. He's supposed to be helping people in this profession, not hurting them. I'm sitting here laughing at the incredulity of this interaction that just happened, and EXTREMELY thankful that I didn't keep the appointment with him for tomorrow. Nobody should be in a room alone with this guy!!! Richard, PLEASE! consider a different profession and go get some help. I do not wish harm on you and no, I do not want to fight you [as you insinuated]. Be well you Richard.
