A word of caution if you are considering retractable screens. While the ARE nice, they are also quite fragile and expensive to repair. If you have dogs that weigh more than ten pounds, I would not recommend buying them. They are easily ruined. If you chose a different product, their service is awesome! read more

First off Breeze was pretty much the only business I could find that was familiar with and could install the new retracting screen door I needed for my home so kudos to them for providing a product and service no one else in San Diego could. They were friendly and efficient in letting me know my options. They needed to order the screen door I wanted as there was a 6 week lead time for shipments and thankfully they received it in less than 3. They came and made the flawless installation in a timely manner even though it was a tricky job. After doing a Yelp search for mobile screen repair companies, I came across Breeze Mobile, they were able to provide a quote through a Yelp inquiry and I was able to schedule an appointment in less than a week. Gary and his crew do outstanding work and are extremely kind and trustworthy people. I have a historically designated Spanish style home and needed custom screens built for a number of windows. After having a very bad experience with a different mobile screen service, I found Breeze Screens through another person on yelp who'd had similar problems and had switched over as well. Gary came 2 separate times with 2 different and equally polite/capable assistants. Together they built a total of 16 custom screens (some photos included). Spending a full day each time, they meticulously sized and tweaked every screen to make sure they were as snug as possible, and even put up with my nitpicking feedback as well. This is a difficult review. I never expected to spend $700 with discounts for a retractable screen door. The three week estimated delivery and installation was a month longer for unforeseen reasons. When we were looking to install screens on our patio doors we reached out to most of the businesses on this platform to get an estimate (at least 8). This is hard for me to write because I want to support a small business, but the people who built our screens had no idea what they were doing! We were told it would be a two day job. When the workers arrived, they upcharged and we had to renegotiate the cost and settled on $5 extra per screen. The job was supposed to be on a Monday and Tuesday. They ended up coming back on Thursday then the following Monday and then Wednesday 9 days later before it was complete (16 days total!) Then when writing up the final bill we were told they were going to charge extra again because some of the windows were larger than others. None of this was explained in the beginning. We also had to have them remake 4 or 5 screens that had small tears or other problems that we noticed but they did not. In the end our screens are doing the job, but the whole process was exhausting. read more
