We were so happy that she had her rabies shot and could go to play with other dogs her size. This was her first day! I was told "we don't know what happened, but all the sudden she was limping ". I asked to see the video and saw the situation - she was trampled by other dogs when the trash truck was emptying dumpsters on the opposite side of their play yard fence. Why they didn't tell me that from the beginning is beyond me, but we will never go back there again. Negligence. The manager said "We are going to ask the trash company to come at another time so the dogs don't get frightened by the trucks ". It doesn't work like that- Dogtopia Dulles needs to be more aware of the trash pick up schedule and not over crowd the small space. So disappointed.

The staff is incredibly loving and communicates well with the pet owners. The dogs are kept on a strict schedule of playing in the communal playroom, getting walks, napping, eating meals, and going to sleep at night. I think the schedule really helps the dogs know what to expect at any time during their stay. I recommend having your dog go for a few days / half days of daycare prior to the first boarding visit as it helps the dog become familiar with the establishment, the routines and to know that they'll eventually go home again. I can't say enough about the staff! They're all very caring and pass along important information as well as comments about your dog that make you realize how much they interact and care about each and every dog in their care. I only wish I had found this establishment years ago!

We have used the dog walking services in the past, and we regularly use the pet sitting services. Our dog love our pet sitters, Kelli, Molly, and Teresa, almost as much as they love us. When Kelli pulls up out front, it creates a full doggy fun fest. Teresa has also worked with our pups to teach some tricks and reinforce good manners. Her method of training is very positive and reinforces good behavior instead of focusing on fixing bad behavior. I highly recommend them!
