    Lucy and Ellie at daycare!

Our Westies, Lucy and Ellie, absolutely LOVE group play at Old Mill! We have not boarded our girls, but we do utilize the doggie daycare. We love how much space they have outdoors to run around and play with their friends! More importantly, the staff is incredible!!! The amount of love and care they provide is amazing! We were so stressed out about being away from our pups while at work, but now realize how great it has been for our girls physically, mentally, and socially! We are so thankful to have Jessica & Amanda watching the twins! You two are such a blessing to all animals!!! Thank you!!!

Would you trust this little girl anywhere else?

Won't take our "fur baby" anywhere else for grooming or vet care; they are simply the best!

We are newer to town and initially chose Woofies after seeing their tent at the Haddon Heights Farmers Market. The owner came to our home for an initial evaluation months ago, and we were very upfront about our concerns with having a stranger in our home. We also explained that we have two dogs who require special care--one with dementia and one with IVDD who has significant mobility issues. Because of their needs, we explained that we have cameras in the home to make sure our dogs are safe and cared for. We also specifically requested that the dog sitter sleep downstairs. We had been staying downstairs with our pup after her surgery and had invested in a very nice, expensive mattress that we set up specifically for the sitter. We were assigned two different sitters, which wasn't our preference, and had to pay for two separate evaluations ($25 each). We provided detailed instructions regarding medications, mobility restrictions, and how to safely care for both dogs. The first night, we didn't receive any confirmation or updates from the sitter. I ultimately had to reach out through the app myself just to ask if everything was okay. I was also uncomfortable that we weren't given a direct phone number for the sitter in case of an emergency. We didn't receive photos or a meaningful update until the after-visit summary. The second night is where this experience became completely unacceptable. The sitter told management she was having "stomach issues." During this time, she covered one of the cameras in our home and had a guest stay overnight. We had no way of knowing whether our dogs were being properly cared for or whether their medications had been given. Beyond the concern for our dogs, having a stranger brought into our home without our knowledge or permission--and having our camera intentionally covered--left us feeling incredibly violated. We were also left wondering what happened on the expensive mattress we had provided for her. When I tried to contact Woofies management, it was difficult to get a timely response because we were directed through a general number. When I finally spoke with someone, I was initially given the sitter's version of events, which did not match what we were seeing on our cameras and front-door footage. We ultimately cut our trip short and came home because we were so concerned about our dogs. When we returned, our dog with IVDD had noticeably declined while we were away, and we had no confirmation that her medications had been given as instructed. She also seemed shaken up. We eventually reached management through Instagram and received a call back. They told us the sitter had been let go and refunded us for the nights she stayed. While we appreciate that they took action after the fact, a refund does not come close to addressing what happened. We had to throw away the mattress and sheets, and more importantly, nothing can undo the violation of trust and the anxiety we experienced wondering whether our dogs were safe. We will never use Woofies again and cannot recommend them based on our experience. If you are considering using a dog-sitting service, especially if you have pets with medical or special needs, PLEASE have cameras in your home and make sure you have a direct way to contact the person caring for your pets. We never imagined we would need them to this extent, and we are incredibly grateful that we had footage of what happened.

Used to love this place but had a RED FLAG experience today…read more My parents have had issues with them because they continuously ask for Cali to have a bow. The last two times there hasn't been one - whatever. Annoying for the amount of money they pay. Especially, because Cali didn't have a bow for Christmas pictures when she was groomed at that time ... :( We've also wanted a consistent person come to the house because our dogs are extremely picky/anxious! However, that has also not been held up as we've continuously had different groomers. Today - after my parents paid and tipped the company they told my mom that my greyhound fell off the table and they put hydrogen peroxide on it. Eli has an open wound that is bleeding, bruising, and he's limping. Not to mention they had an additional groomer today because they were training someone. There should have been at least one hand on Eli??? He's a greyhound rescue - they have been grooming him for a while they know his actions and behaviors. If there's two of you why was Eli able to fall of the table - was nobody watching? In a small van.... please. After Cindy called my mother - we were expecting an apology and would reconsider our frustration. BUT she tried to justify that he's hurt and said "Christina, put this where it should be" as if it should ever sit well. She said he's a nervous dog and has done this before. Why haven't I heard this before?! Because he's nervous it's his fault he's hurt?! Take your business elsewhere.

Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

Getting set up for the MRI, the staff answered every single one of my questions, down to the type of contrast agent they use. No question was too small or too detailed. That level of transparency meant a lot to me. Dr. Uzzle is outstanding. He is sharp, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything clearly and patiently. What stood out most was his empathy. My dog was in his seatbelt and groggy after the procedure. I was concerned with his presentation, and Dr. Uzzle came out to the parking lot to check on him. You don't see that kind of care very often. This is a very professional organization from top to bottom. Every person I interacted with was attentive, courteous, and clearly knows what they're doing. I could not recommend Bush Advanced Veterinary Imaging more highly.

They prescribed antibiotics and told us that if things didn't fully resolve, we should consider an MRI to rule out something more serious. Fair enough. Our dog actually started improving, but since we carry insurance, we decided to move forward with the MRI just to be safe. That's when things went completely off the rails. When I called to schedule, I was told that Dr. Conte was temporarily working out of their Springfield office to help another vet out for a month and that we would need to drive from Leesburg to Springfield to have the MRI done. Drop-off AND pick-up. Absolutely not. I explained that expecting a client to spend essentially half their day driving back and forth because of THEIR internal staffing decision is unreasonable. I asked the obvious question: don't you have another doctor in Leesburg who can handle this? Answer: yes... BUT only if we pay another $300 consult fee first. Let me get this straight -- because THEY chose to move a doctor to another location, I either: 1. Spend three hours driving across Northern Virginia, or 2. Pay an unnecessary $300 just to see a different doctor in the same practice That is beyond ridiculous. That's not medicine -- that's a money grab wrapped in inconvenience. We've already spent thousands addressing this issue. There was no scheduling conflict. No backlog. No emergency. Just a completely avoidable situation created by their own internal decision-making -- and somehow the client is expected to absorb the burden. Customer service like this is exactly why people lose trust in practices. It's tone-deaf and frankly insulting. If I'm going to pay for another consult, I'll gladly take my money somewhere else that actually values my time and my business. Call it petty if you want -- I call it common sense. This is one of the most absurd policies I've ever encountered. Good luck if you choose this place. You might need it.
