    Açaí bowls

Loved this place!! The superfood bowl is my favorite! So fresh and delicious, great service, they are only here on Tuesday mornings during this market, great find! Lots of cute stands at this market with good finds. Would go back!

Allergy friendly and accommodating. Recommend the halfsies option. The base bowl is sufficient, not a significant difference for the superfood as portion was small for chia pudding. Great food for the farmer's market!

Best açaí dragonfruit superfood bowl.. EVER We recommend coming early as the line was 10+ people before opening at 8am

Large açaí bowl with chia seed pudding, topped with pineapple, kiwi, shredded coconut and granola! I'm in love!

One of the BEST açaí bowl on the island! I love that there's no sugar added and vegan!!! This truck is run by two awesome women. Great customer service and delicious açaí bowl! I only have 10 days on the island, so I only get to taste this goodness once. They are at the Wailea Farmers Market Tuesday only. If you get a chance, stop by and support local businesses!

Why 4 stars? Because acai and a friendly business owner is a great combination. --- --- --- I was definitely not going to come to Hawaii without enjoying a surplus of acai bowls, and Brekkie Bowls had some of the highest Yelp ratings in all of Maui. On our drive from Kaanapali to Wailea, we hit up Brekkie Bowls. First of all, a heads up - if you don't know where you're going, it's not the easiest place to find. Once you pull into a very large shopping center parking lot, just head straight back, far away from the road. On Apple Maps, it's pretty accurately placed, so I'd recommend following that rather than just trying to guess. There are about 20 different ways you can turn, and we guessed wrong a few times before we figured it out. The reason that Brekkie Bowls has really great reviews is obvious - the owner is super friendly to everyone. She definitely has the ability to make every customer feel like a long, lost friend. We chatted her up about what we'd done so far in Maui and what we had planned for the rest of the trip. She was great and the acai bowls were solid! Definitely a good option when you're in the area and craving a giant bowl of deliciousness :)

Loved the presentation of the bowl and the flavor was literally EVERYTHING! The girls were super helpful! Definitely recommend

The presentation of the bowl was outstanding and the flavor was EVERYTHING! The girls were super kind and helpful when it came time deciding on what i would love! Definitely recommend and would come again

Such a cute food truck and the workers there were so nice!! Definitely recommend getting there early because they always have A line. So fun for it to be at the farmers market too such a cool experience. The Acai was expensive but super yummy and great toppings and presentation

Escape the resorts and find a super sweet semi -food truck. Had an açaí and a dragon fruit bowl which were made with love. Really kind people with a vision in mind for their business.

Severely disappointed by both the food and the service here. The woman taking out orders was condescending-- calling my friends and myself "sweetie" and laughing when we said we were teachers on Oahu. It was clear she was judging us. We asked if there was a bowl she recommended (because they have many different options) and she laughed and said "honey everything is custom." When I asked if they had a bathroom she said "well yes and no" apparently because there was a workout class going on in the CrossFit gym, I couldn't use the bathroom. Now, the bad part: I was trying to get a scoop from my bowl and because the peanut butter was so thick I splashed myself with açaí and some of the fruit when flying to the ground. My friend went to ask if they had napkins and they said no, they're trying to reduce waste. Listen- I'm all for going green, but if you serve food you should have napkins. Then the woman came out of the hut and bent down to pick up the fruit off the ground and said "I feel like I'm cleaning up after a child!" I was SHOCKED that she would say something so rude. It was clearly an accident and I was covered in splashes of açaí staining my shirt and shorts. At that point, I walked away because I was done dealing with her. The bowls were decent. They don't use sugar so they are sour. I've had better. I'm shocked this is the second ranked place on Maui. I would NOT recommend.

We came based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. I love that the owner intentionally didn't put the food truck in a touristy area; it really is a hidden gem. Not only was everything delicious and fresh but it was also presented beautifully. I only grabbed a quick pic because I was eager to dive in. The cold brew was also fantastic. We enjoyed chatting with the owner too! Very personable.

Adorable Business! All fresh ingredients, made to order. We stopped by here on Tuesday, after Labor Day & there was a whole farmers market going on at the Wailea shopping center where brekkie bowls was set up. So nice to walk around and enjoy our bowls!

Such a delicious and healthy spot for breakfast. The fruit was so juicy and delicious. The bowls are also gorgeous. Great service as well!

Our Brekkie Bowls were fantastic. We had a little difficulty finding the truck but if you check the actual website the location will be there. It was for sure worth the extra drive though. Yum!

Are you only open on Tuesdays? Or have the hours not been updated on Yelp since Covid time? Mahalo!

I really loved my granola on my Brekkie bowl. It's different than the granola I get/make at home. In wanting to make some, does anyone know what the little crunchy puffed parts were? It was like a rice crispy bit smaller and crispier...

Upon entering the restaurant, we enjoyed hearing upbeat music and hubby and I were warmly greeted by an employee named Josh. Hubby informed the employee about his but allergy and the employee said the restaurant was but free except the peanut sauce in one of the menu items. After reviewing the menu, I decided to try their Asian teriyaki chicken rice bowl with nozzarella sticks and hubby ordered their pulled pork fries. In addition to our food, I ordered a Hawaiian sunset to drink which is their version of an Arnold Palmer and hubby ordered a lemonade. As we waited for our food to be ready, we noticed an area with non-food items for sale including glass cup, a shirt, a graphic similar to the on in the restaurant sitting area, and silverware. The nozzarella sticks were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside and served with a side of marinara sauce. My Asian teriyaki chicken rice bowl was full and filling and I was shocked when I saw it not only contained full baby carrots. The pulled pork fries had the perfect balance of tenderness through the well seasoned pulled pork served on top of crunchy French fries. Since we at inside the restaurant, we appreciated Josh regularly checking in to ask how we were enjoying our meal as well as providing suggestions for other places in the area with vegan or plant based food options. We enjoyed the food, conversation and good vibes with Josh so much that we returned the next day. During our second visit, I ordered a chicken gyro and a crème brûlée which hubby ordered the BRB burger with fries, a side on onion rings, and a slice of avocado toast. Considering we were crunched for time, we took our food to go and similar to our first visit, the food was phenomenal. The chicken gyro was flavorful with several sauces and the onion rings were perfectly crunchy on the outside and the sauces Josh provided were creamy. Hubby's mind was blown away by the presentation of the avo toastie (he said this avocado toast was the best her ever had) and despite not being a big eater of sweets, he thoroughly enjoyed the crème brûlée which was soft and sweet. Given Josh's positive energy as well as creative and delicious food, if you are vegan, vegetarian, or veg-curious, I suggest you walk, not run to Earth Aloha Eats.

They serve the food family-style but still high-end which was exactly what we were going for so we were not disappointed. Cocktails were great and the vibes in the evening are very nice for a more upscale night out. Food came out a little slower than expected and by the time our Korean fried chicken main course came out we were almost full and had to take it togo. But everything was really good regardless, my favorite being the mushroom salad even though it was a little difficult to chop up since they give it to you as a whole head of butter lettuce. The chicken was really good and really juicy, paired nicely with the side of pickled cucumbers

The restaurant itself is quite tiny with limited indoor seating, bar seating, and a stretch of patio seating. We were seated at the bar and had two various experiences with the two bartenders that were looking after us - the gentleman who was the bartender was extremely kind and attentive. He was engaging and made small talk with us. The female bartender was quite rude and cold, and I debated removing a star for her poor attitude and service skills. Service aside, my husband and I decided to try a few different items, including the Szechuan garlic noodles, pickled cucumbers, aji tamago, and Lion's Mane salad. All four dishes had wonderful flavor and were the perfect amount to share and leave full without being overwhelmed. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of spice. All in all, it was a tasty meal, but they definitely need to work on their consistency with employee service.

However, the owner took the time to respond and explain that the entire shopping center wing was experiencing cooling issues and that the restaurant was dealing with significant staffing shortages at the time. While that doesn't completely change the experience we had, I appreciate that the owner acknowledged the challenges and responded professionally rather than dismissing the feedback. One observation I would offer is that, as a customer, it was difficult to tell who was serving tables. I noticed several employees in Pint & Cork shirts moving around the restaurant, but only saw a couple of servers actively covering the dining area. It's possible some staff were assigned to bartending or other responsibilities, but from the guest perspective it gave the impression that table service was understaffed while other employees appeared unavailable. I still think there is room for improvement in the flow and logistics on the floor, but I appreciate the owner's willingness to engage with feedback and explain the circumstances. That being said, I would be willing to give the restaurant another chance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE: 6.21.26 I appreciate the response. It's telling that you addressed the air conditioning, disputed the gender of an employee, and questioned whether I was even there, yet didn't meaningfully respond to the concerns about service, timing, attentiveness, or food quality. If a customer leaves with a poor experience, the question isn't whether they perfectly recalled every detail. The question is why they left with that impression in the first place. I suspect future readers can draw their own conclusions from both the review and the response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the most disappointing dining experience of our Hawaii trip. We specifically asked to sit indoors because we wanted a break from the Maui heat after spending the day outside. Unfortunately, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning, making the indoor seating barely any cooler than outside. The restaurant also felt severely understaffed. It took around 10 minutes just to get a Diet Coke, and every time I asked for assistance, the woman working at the register seemed to defer the request rather than help or find someone who could. Meanwhile, some employees appeared more interested in chatting than helping customers, while only one or two staff members seemed to be working the floor. I understand restaurants get busy, especially in a tourist area, but the issue wasn't just the wait--it was the feeling that customer service wasn't a priority. As for the food, it was nothing special. I ordered a steak that had a nice smoky flavor, but it arrived well done and overcooked. The rest of the meal was average at best and definitely not memorable enough to make up for the service issues. Between the lack of air conditioning, slow service, inattentive staff, and mediocre food, this was one of the few places in Hawaii where I genuinely regretted spending my money. Considering the location at The Shops at Wailea and the prices being charged, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and execution. There are far too many great dining options in Wailea to come back here.
