Wow Wow is so cute, and honestly, "wow" is a pretty good word to describe this place. I ordered the Original Açaí Bowl after a long morning of visiting Haleakalā, and it was exactly the boost I needed. The cashier was really friendly, and once you order, they actually come find you to hand you your order, which was a really nice touch. The açaí itself was really good. The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. It felt super refreshing after a long morning, and the whole place just has a great, chill vibe. Definitely a nice stop if you are in the area and want something light but filling. I wish I took a picture, but I ate it all up too quickly. read more

I have to confess I stumbled across this place as I was walking in the strip mall looking for a n or breakfast place. I saw locals eating outside so I popped inside. Super cute ambiance and friendly faces behind the counter won me over completely! They have nice lemonades: loved both the ones we tried. I especially loved the avocado toast with the chili flakes. It reminded me of home (Los Angeles) and I was super happy. Açaí bowl was fantastic. Chicken flatbread was yummy too! Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Service is super friendly and food and lemonade is fresh. I love supporting local places when I'm traveling and I will definitely be back when I'm in Maui next time! read more

Convenient açaí stop! Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking because it's part of a plaza. Felt like I was right on the beach walking in to this place even if I can't see the shore. Lots of options on menu but difficult to compare each açaí bowl--I went with the "classic" it was perfect. They had a fun outdoor yellow table shaped like a lemon. Staff was welcoming and cool. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, but this treat somehow made it better. read more

I usually get myself my go to lemonade, Mango Colada but decided to try an Açaí bowl instead. The Açaí bowls look quite bigger, probably meant to be shared so I opted for the Mini Açaí bowl which is a 12 oz and I added a $2 topping, Haupia Custard topping. I also didn't know you could change the base so I changed it from Almond Milk to Coconut Milk. I loved how it had slices of banana, strawberries, blueberries and granola for the crunch and a drizzle of honey too. It took a bit longer, maybe 15 minute wait with maybe 3-4 guests waiting. I included a previous photo of lemonades I've purchased in the past and all the flavors are homemade and delicious. I'll be back to try their savory menu. WOW! This place is so Hawai'i! I love everything about it, the vibes, the decor, the smells. I received the most warm and friendly welcome and the freshest food and drink. Wow wow, would totally return for more delicious acai bowls! Loved the variety of combos available, and both the Hawaiian blue and cacao energy bowls were very tasty :) they also have a rainbow of namesake lemonades and savory avocado toasts to choose from. The bowls come with a generous amount of acai base (yay!). The Hawaiian blue bowl tastes very tropical and tangy being a mango pineapple base, while the cacao energy bowl base tastes more like the traditional acai bowl. The cacao custard is a thick pudding that I wasn't a huge fan of because it wasn't very smooth and was almost powdery. That aside, the cacao nibs provided a delightful crunch, the honey was the perfect sweetener, and the peanut butter layer added the rich creaminess. And the acai base wasn't icy-- it was sweet, smooth, and super yummy! We tried several acai places, and this one was my favorite (MT liked another place because the acai base was more tart). The vibes and workers are nice and chill-- they'll bring out your orders if you sit at the tables outside. There is an ordering kiosk on the right side of the counter but most people were ordering the good old-fashioned way with the cashier. Definitely coming back next visit to Maui! read more

We came here on the way to the airport craving something sweet. I opted for the watermelon lemonade with basil. At first I didn't taste the basil or watermelon but realized I need to mix it :) It was super tasty after that and it definitely satisfied my sweet lemonade craving. The service was top notch. The two gentlemen behind the counter answered my questions about the drinks and were quick and super polite. Something we don't have everyday nowadays so it was very nice to stumble upon this place. Wow Wow Lemonade actually uses the same sticker supplier as I do (for my food blog), so I was excited to try one of these fresh-squeezed lemonades and grab one of their stickers. Also yes ... my friend and I had lemonade for breakfast, mind your business, it was summertime and I was on vacation. Lol The Blended Passion Strawberry & Butterfly Mojito Lemonade were delicious, sweet but not too sweet. I definitely recommend grabbing a lemonade here, especially on a hot day. My only complaint is that they didn't have any souvenir Mason jars or stickers so I wasn't able to take home a memento from my visit. Other than that I loved this place. read more

Wow Wow Lemonade is such a treat for a post-gym workout and it is such a cute store inside with the merch along with the decor. The lemonade at Wow Wow is memorable. However, the açaí bowls are the true winners of the shop in my opinion. I ordered the Kings Açaí bowl with almond butter. The bowl was packed with refreshing açaí and topped with bananas, granola, and cacao nibs (which is my favorite, as it gives a bite & bitterness to it). It's a great treat that makes you feel guilt free and satisfied. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. They put time into making the bowls and ensuring the quality is there. Another added bonus to this shop is their cute merch. I bought a coconut car freshener and a mason jar. When I imagine acai bowl, I picture the base to fill the majority of the bowl/cup with toppings filled to the rim. Isn't that how everyone pictures it? Don't get me wrong, I thought our acai bowls were good, and ingredients weren't too bad. The bananas were so thinly sliced that I felt like I was eating plantain-like paper. Maybe this is a way for them to cut down on costs of goods, who knows. I was just disappointed because, for the price we paid, we felt the amount given in the bowls were a little underwhelming. We didn't get a chance to try their lemonade, maybe next time if we ever go to to Kihei. read more

Dropped by on a Sunday around 2pm. I got the cacao energy açaí bowl. The fruits were fresh. The sweetness of honey, granola, and banana provided a good balance between the strawberries and the açaí base. They packed the container to the top. The cacao nibs added a nice textural contrast. They blend everything to order, so it does take a bit of time to get your food if they're busy. The bowl was huge. It lasted me for two meals/snacks. They do take online orders, but it didn't seem like they made the bowls until the person came to pick them up. read more

The lemonade flight ($8) is a good way to try a few flavors if you can't decide so I recommend the flights as well. Parking is ample. Wow Wow Hawaiian lemonade was born in the spirit of Aloha in 2012. We began our journey at farmer’s markets and night markets all around the island. The response from the community was amazing and we quickly knew we had something special. With the immediate and overwhelmingly positive response to our fresh and locally inspired tropical drinks, the farmer's and night markets quickly turned into a small lemonade trailer on Maui. With demand continuing to grow, the trailer soon turned into a brick and mortar gourmet lemonade stand in Kihei, Maui serving acai bowls, cold brew coffee, superfood smoothies, healthy bites, and hand crafted Lemonade served in our infamous Mason Jars.

I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. You decide.

The Caesar Salad is about as good as they get, but I really, really like the Maui Greek Salad. With at least four people we start with the Seafood Tower, but find it just too big for two of us. Other than that the Kalua Pig Pot Stickers, Charred Octopus, Crab Cakes and Blackened Ahi are the starters I rotate through. For my Main, I am less eclectic. I have a hard time getting away from the Diver Scallops and Scampi. I have tried other dishes, the Abalone, Kona Lobster and Ribeye (I know, I know, who orders steak in a seafood restaurant), but I keep coming back to. For Dessert, I am also in a rut, but I love desserts they set on fire and in this case it is Bananas Foster. I do sneak bites off my DW's Creme Brulee, as does off my BF. The service is terrific, attentive without being intrusive. I used to joke about the Chicago store that if you knocked a spoon off the table someone would catch it before it hit the floor. He vanished after the big ticket part of the meal (the 82$ lamb) and mentioned a comped panna cotta for our anniversary after we'd ordered a paid desert. Oops we owe you that next time (but you'll take our money today) Our food runner was great! Super upbeat, always with a smile. Bar area was relatively quiet until it wasn't. We wouldn't spend $350 this way again but would sit at the bar for sashimi and bounce.
