Three weeks later I was able to swallow 40 times per minute. Not to mention my speech has drastically improved. I felt that our baby was being handled with care. We were given clear directions and were even allowed to record the session! The office was very clean & they even offered complimentary coffee/tea/flavored water, etc. The price was very reasonable, and I felt we got our money's worth out of the appointment. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

My baby was eight days old when we visited Dr. Beckman. He did not have a consistent latch and was…read morestarting to lose weight. Thus, we started to bottle feed with donor milk. I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

His therapist Miss Alexis was on maternity leave, unfortunately I guess it was the owner from my understanding that dealt with him on Monday. She went about handling him totally wrong and he had a big meltdown. Needless to say we were told he was not allowed back because he was too severe. SMH unreal considering the therapist knew exactly how to handle him. She had never had a problem with him. The owner on the other hand who was stepping in did not even have a clue how to deal with him. Of course because he's non-verbal at all of his other issues he was confused. So he started the only thing he knows to do because he can't talk and that was pulling on her needless to say that upset her. Truthfully I believe she is in the wrong profession. Again both my boys go there and they had great therapist not-so-great the owner. At one point I highly recommended this place now I would say don't take your child there especially if they're not a typical child SMH. They don't mind collecting the insurance money but yet this lady was unprepared to deal with a child of his disabilities yes. She did not have a clue what was wrong with him she must not have taken the time to even look at his file. So I naturally pulled my other grandson out of there this is not a place that I would recommend for anybody unless you have a child that can speak and just needs a little help but I definitely would not recommend her to be your therapist. She made me the one with the license but I honestly think she is not one that is able to work with children. Again this is just my opinion
