The ceremony and cocktail hour were held on the first floor and the reception was upstairs (and yes, there are elevators). The only caveat is that there are only bathrooms on the first floor, so we all made multiple up-and-down trips throughout the night. There is also an outdoor terrace on the second floor (unfortunately, the view is... the parking lot) but it was a nice area to chat with other wedding guests on a breezy, late May evening. The dance floor area was a bit small for the amount of guests, but it ended up working out. The dinner was buffet style, and the food was quite good! The strawberry salad was tasty, but maybe a bit too much dressing. The mashed potatoes were very garlicky with the perfect texture (not too smooth, but not too chunky). The steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots) were seasoned enough to be enjoyable on its own and with the protein. There were three protein options: chicken, salmon, and steak. The chicken had a creamy sauce with a red pepper topping that I didn't love. The salmon was seasoned generously, but it was a bit overcooked. The steak was seared quite nicely, cooked medium, and it was my favorite of all three proteins. Overall, the food was good for a wedding venue. This was a great venue to have a wedding! We all had a great time at Sweeney Barn to celebrate our friends getting married.

The brewery offers a great selection of beers along with a diverse food menu featuring everything from fresh salads and sandwiches to hearty entrees and unique specialties. Add in live local music, plenty of outdoor space, and a relaxed atmosphere, and it's easy to see why this place is so popular. Whether you're planning a date night, meeting friends, or bringing the family, 2 Silos delivers a memorable experience. Honestly, even if everything else were average--which it definitely isn't--the setting alone would make it worth the trip. The venue is second to none. On a beautiful day, this is one of the best places in the area to relax, enjoy good food and drinks, and spend a few hours outdoors. Highly recommended.

I went there to have a good time and instead found rude, prehistoric behavior. Me and my family specifically chose a table with an umbrella because today at the USA game rain was coming. In the middle of the game, an employee came over and started abruptly removing our umbrella. I told him what is happening and I wanted to keep it because that was the whole reason we chose that table. His response? "I don't care. The manager ordered it." While he was pulling the umbrella out, he was so intimidating and came so close that he almost hit me in the head with it. Not once did he apologize or show any concern. Rude and scary We immediately left our food and untouched drinks at the table and leave My recommendation: If you're looking for a place where families are welcomed and customers are treated with respect, spend your money somewhere else. There are plenty of places that understand hospitality. Unfortunately, 2Silos isn't one of them. I will never come back and the guy in the picture should have a better training and customer service is a matter of time before he hurts a customer

Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting day was already dampened by the weather--and quickly made worse by the overall service experience. I checked in online ahead of time and selected a range bucket, only to be told upon arrival that "they don't do that on weekends." Meanwhile, someone else in my group had already been given one without issue. That kind of inconsistency set the tone right away. Things didn't improve from there. Another person in our group wasn't allowed to take a cart to pick up a teammate and was instead told they had to walk up and check in first. It felt unnecessarily rigid and not customer-friendly. At the turn, I stopped to grab a Gatorade and had one of the more bizarre customer service experiences I've had. The only thing that greeted me was a dog. Multiple employees saw me standing there--including someone from the office and even a greenskeeper who walked in, grabbed a water, and left without paying--yet no one acknowledged me. I eventually had to leave a $10 bill on the counter myself just to move on. Overall, the course itself may be nice, but the lack of basic customer service, consistency, and professionalism made this a very disappointing experience. For a place that positions itself as a higher-end course, I expected much better

While I considered rounding up for the breakfast offerings, I'm rounding down because I didn't have the restful stay that I was hoping for. Pros: - clean hotel with complimentary continental breakfast - decent breakfast spread - scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a protein were served each day. There was pork sausage on one day and bacon on another. There's also a DIY waffle maker, cereal station with a few dispensers, and oatmeal bar with a mix of toppings to add in. On Sunday, there was also French toast sticks (these were dry but you can drown them in syrup). On Monday, instead of French toast sticks, they had hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Both days also had a basket of apples and bananas (the bananas looked much more appealing than the apples). They had a good condiment section (jellies, butter, peanut butter, cream cheese, Nutella, etc.). I also liked that they had salsa and shredded cheese for the eggs. There was also a fridge of milk and yogurt, a juice machine, and coffee and tea station, which included flavored syrups. They do take the coffee away after breakfast, but there is a coffee maker in the room. - room had a microwave and mini fridge, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. No safe. - fitness center and pool are included amenities. There was also a computer in the lobby for their "business center" - luggage carts were easily available - plenty of parking available - good location near several shops and other shopping areas Cons: - check-in is at 3pm. We came around 4:30 pm and the room (executive suite) was still not ready. They estimated a 45-60 minute wait. We debated unloading the car, sitting in the lobby and waiting, but decided to leave and check out the shops nearby. The hotel didn't offer anything for the inconvenience, only their "apologies." - Super uncomfortable beds! I did not get restful sleep at this hotel. I felt like I was sleeping on a cot (it's not ~ I checked... but you could have fooled me...) - minimal toiletries available. Aside from the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner pumps in the shower, the only toiletries on the counter were one make-up remover wipe and a cleansing bar. No lotion, supplemental facial soap, mouthwash, etc. - water from the water station in the fitness center tasted stale - front desk staff was not super present. Whenever I was in the lobby, the front desk space was often vacant. We didn't have any issues to address, but staff did not seem very accessible The property is nice overall and the facilities are clean. Call it a princess and the pea scenario, but these beds are not for me.
