Our awful experiences with our new +$40,000 Patio Cover Patios by B&B just became worse (see my review) when the gutter their sub-contractor installed (Above & Beyond Rain Gutters) overflowed like a waterfall not only onto our so-called "rain proof" patio, but also falling on our outdoor electrical, timer, etc. against our bedroom wall We contacted Jordan, Paul's son who is active with the Company. Paul refused to pay to fix the gutter UNLESS we agreed to remove our review and never mention our experiences with Patios by B&B again, "under threat of libel." We were so shocked and upset at his refusal to pay unless we met those conditions that we said that was unreasonable to refuse to fix such a major problem without any conditions. So we had to start over finding a new "gutter guy." It was SO refreshing and wonderful to find Patrick, owner of Bresnahan Rain Gutter Cleaning, who handled almost every single step of our transaction PERFECTLY! 1) On Thursday, Patrick answered our call in person immediately; 2) He came over that same morning to give us an estimate. When he reviewed the situation, he showed us WHY the rain was overflowing the previously installed gutter. THE PREVIOUS GUTTER was INSTALLED IMPROPERLY! When we looked at our roof and gutter, it was immediately clear that Patrick was right and Above and Beyond Rain Gutters had installed the gutter exactly following our roof line (which, like many other houses, is NOT LEVEL)! So, instead of the water flowing AWAY from the house to the downspout, the gutter slanted so the water flowed into the corner near our bedroom!. So THAT was one of the main reasons we were flooded with water in the wrong area. 3) Patrick first offered a less expensive "fix" for the problem (to install a second downspout in the overflow area). We appreciated his considering our expenses, but told him we needed to try and get the previously promised "rain proofed patio" actually rainproof. 4) Patrick then said he could replace the gutter not only with a larger size but, most importantly, one that would be ANGLED so ALL the water would flow AWAY from the house into the downspout the way it was supposed to. THAT is what we wanted. 5) Patrick and his great crew CAME OUT the NEXT MORNING (within 24 hours after our first call contact) and not only installed the gutter EXACTLY the way he described (with the CLEAR angle to the right direction), but ALSO added a small "re-director' close to the roof that will send some of the excess water that the two roofs combining created near our bedroom away from that one vulnerable corner. read more

There was a fire in our backyard caused by a electrical transformer explosion. It deposited a great deal of soot and cinders on the roof of our house. I searched Yelp for someone to come clean the roof and gutter system of the soot and cinders. When I searched Yelp for someone that did gutter & roof cleaning, Bresnahan Rain Gutter Cleaning came up and they were rated 5 stars. I later found out there was a reason they are so highly rated. In addition to being a 5-star rated provider on Yelp, they also had a special going on at the moment. So I called and spoke with Pat, the owner of the company, and described to him the work that needed to be done. I wasn't sure if the special would cover all the work I described, but Pat said he would do the work and honor the special. I have to say it was one of the best deals I have ever gotten. Pat himself was both very personable and very professional, and his crew worked hard. They were at my house cleaning the roof for 2 hours of all the soot and cinders and did a wonderful job. To sum it all up, Bresnahan Rain Gutter Cleaning did a great job of cleaning our roof and rain gutter system and they fully deserve to be a 5-star rated provider on Yelp. Thanks to Pat and his crew for doing an excellent job of cleaning my overdue for cleaning rain gutters. In a little over an hour, Pat's team cleaned out an accumulated years (decade?) worth of debris. My gutters encircle the entire perimeter. They were prompt, competent, cleaned up before they left, and reasonably priced. All the debris tucked away into trash bags ready to be hauled away with the next trash pick up. No muss or fuss for my neighbors too. As an added bonus, Pat had one of my window screens repaired at a local business, then returned to reinstall it, and charged me only for the actual cost of repair. A few weeks ago, I was in Vegas at a corporate training and my tenant in Los Angeles called to say the gutters were all blocked up and that water was spilling over the gutter onto the patio and in front of the windows. there wasnt even a lot of rain - it just sprinkled but I guess the pine needles got stuck in the gutters. Not often you find a service person who is reliable, does great work and is reasonably priced. Where have you been all these years Pat? I've used Pat and his guys twice, including most recently installing a cool foam thingy in the gutters to keep out leaves (instead of the pain in the neck old-style metal mesh screen). Contacted to clean our rain gutters in preparation for the sale of our house. The came the next day and immediately got to work. Within 30 minutes my house and garage rain gutters were spotless. After I called, Pat texted me and we made the appointment for only 1 week later and they arrived on time, cleaned the gutters, putting everything in their own trash bags and took away. They hosed everything out and cleaned my metal roof also, the day before the big rain in September. Pat answer my message quickly and give me an estimate to clean my house's gutters without seeing my house (he said that he Googled my house). The price was reasonable. Within 2 hours, his men showed up (on Saturday) and cleaned all dirt and leaves from gutters, and put them in plastic bags. I didn't know that they wash windows also.
