No one informed me that the appointment that was originally set up for me had changed. In fact, I was told that the Thursday appointment did not show on your records. When a patient has pain most of the time, it isn't easy to prepare for any kind of appointment. Now I must repeat my trip to your office again on Monday, April 4th in order to see the doctor. There seems to a disconnect between the procedure for setting up a new patient's appointments and the personnel and computer records in the office. I respectively ask that someone review the situation and make appropriate adjustments where needed. Otherwise, it has been a pleasant experience to visit your office and I do look forward to my physical issues being resolved by the very capable staff and doctors in your practice.

No one called ahead of time to inform me, and no one updated me while I was sitting there waiting. It was a complete lack of respect for my time. On my second visit, things only got worse. Dr. Burns came across as arrogant, belligerent, and very disrespectful. Instead of feeling heard or cared for as a patient, I felt dismissed and spoken down to. His attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable. Patients deserve basic communication, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Hip pain was really back pain- Dr Gall specializes in spine. Also their scheduling department must suck- because my appointments would get scheduled and then within 24 hours I would get a text that my appointment was cancelled. This happened 3x! For this appointment I think his nurse called me to correct my appointment- I was scheduled in the wrong office! The irony is that I am waiting for insurance approval for the next step and as I am writing this I am thinking I should call- because who knows how prompt they will be in scheduling after obtaining approval.... sigh. My overall experience with this practice is 2 to 3 stars- but this location/staff/doc did deserve 4 stars- I will update if warranted.

Too close.". ) He is straight up about what to do after surgery and he tells you he does not care what other drs do or allow, or how early other drs allow you to wear shoes, run, etc. He is VERY cautious and he knows how to get the best results! I'd like to specifically thank Dr. Phillip Bell who performed the surgery, the nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone else at JOI Baptist South for taking such good care of me before, during, and after surgery. My knee range of motion has improved dramatically the previous 5 days and is currently at 115 degrees. No more walker or cane and I just walked a mile today. I am about 1 year out post an extensive lumbar fusion with pelvic fixation, which was really a last resort for me, but I'm doing great now! I appreciate that Dr. Perry offered multiple alternatives and conservative care options first. When those options failed to adequately help and the surgery was indicated, Dr. Perry proved to be not only knowledgeable and exceptionally skilled, but he also provided helpful education before, during and after the ordeal. He was patient with all of my many questions and concerns and helped me navigate through the whole experience, which otherwise would have been a very terrifying experience for me.
