However, it's a smaller stage compared to the other theaters in the area and very limited seating (currently 30-40 or so). So, with COVID and all it's tough to manage and I give them props for pushing through. They recently had a play of Christmas Carol featuring only four actors that did a phenomenal job with very little. It was all about the dialogue and using your imagination and they did an outstanding job at bringing the story to life! Looking forward to seeing this theater grow and develop further!

Then on Sun we saw Matt Matthews who was so fun and hilarious. Both nights we got there about 7:00 and the shows started at 8:00. Parking was no issue... we got some good spots. For the music concert, they had a food truck outside and the outside bar set up for drinks too. The food truck was 40 South and they had the best brisket tacos I ever had. The next night for the comedy show, they didn't have a food truck, and I purposely waited to eat so I could get some more tacos. Such a disappointment. I got a piece of old dried out pizza and some popcorn, because that's all they were offering. I am marking down 1 point for the food at the King Center. They need to have a food truck every night! The first night the people that work there were so nice and helpful. The second night most of the people were very nice and helpful again, except we had VIP after the show for a meet and greet, and we went where we thought they told us to go. There was one gentleman standing at the back door and when we asked, he wasn't sure where we go. We still hung around that door, because we were in the general area where the ladies at the beginning told us. Many people came up to ask him, and he kept saying he didn't know. Turns out, that was the right door to go to. They really needed to put someone on the door that knew where the meet and greet was so people weren't so confused. Other than that, it is a nice little place to see concerts and shows. There really not a bad seat in the house since it's kind of a small stage and seating. It was a great experience as it was easy to buy tickets on-line and check in once we got there. The theater was very clean and they have plenty of snacks and drink to offer at a theater price point, but still how can you pass up popcorn with a good movie. Sound and projection of the movie was great. This will be our go to the next time something comes out we want to see in the theater! 5 stars for the staff also! Very friendly and helpful!!! Last year's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING was based on a wild western theme with cowboys and the 19th century feel of the showdown at the OK Corral. And that's still Shakespeare, with gender-bender acting-up with girls playing the men's parts with mustaches and such. MIDSUMMER NIGHT 'S DREAM was set in the environment of a special 1960s hippie epoch. ALICE was just pure fun, with all of Lewis Carol's characters coming to life. It wasn't too far from home So I emailed the owner to get info. He responded very quickly and the pricing was in line with the area. We set up a trial and we are so glad we did. I couldn't be happier . They have a great area in the front to wait with comfortable seating, a few tables and it's nicely decorated. Ellis the instructor is fantastic. My child is eager to come every week and practices on his own at home every day and that is due to Ellis. I couldn't be more thrilled that we chose this place. They give piano and guitar lessons too , I've seen students come in. I don't know what other instruments they might provide instruction on. I've also been told it's a great recording studio , as they do recording and mixing here as well.
