Staff seemed a little confused by my coffee order and the drink was just okay - they did not really have any particular seasonal menu or standout flavors, very basic coffees and not well made. I would say coffee is NOT the highlight here. But my daughter loved her pan dulce and it seemed decently fresh. Their cooked food, breakfast plates, and churros seem to be the main draw here. I was genuinely surprised how many people were inside first thing in the morning, eating churros. I might go back to try those but I will get my coffee fix elsewhere. Staff were friendly and even came out from behind the counter to offer to help me with the door since we had a stroller.

It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine.
