I didn't realize Curator doubles as a pottery shop the first time I came here, and now I'm absolutely OBSESSED with the place. I love coming in to check out the pieces up for sale while sipping on a matcha latte. The baristas are always super friendly and never fail to make an excellent cup of matcha, and the place itself has such an artistic and inspiring atmosphere that it's a great place to relax or get some work done. This was a cute little coffee shop I was introduced to at a Yelp Event. The ambiance of this place is very chilled and nice. They keep the place well kept and clean too. Soon as you walk in you can see a wall of pottery you can look at and even purchase if you like. The place is not just known for their coffee but they also set up painting and crafting classes (i did a paint pottery class here through yelp that was fun). They have a few seats too if you want to sit and relax with your drink. I came at a busy party of the day it seemed so didnt get to sit down. The ladies that worked at the counter was friendly and nice. They told me some recommendations on latte flavors and liked how they had milk substitutes. I ordered 2 matcha lattes with oat milk, one lavender and the other rose flavored. I liked how they flavors were subtle and didnt overpower the matcha flavor. It was very delicious and would recommend this drink or another latte they offer. It is somewhat far from where I'm at but if I happen to be around next time, I would absolutely come back. read more

Iced lavender coffee with oat milk = 10/10. It has strong floral notes but it doesn't taste like grandma's bathroom! The matcha white chocolate macadamia cookie is also a must try! Don't get it warmed! Eat it as is. It's moist inside and has the perfect blend of flavors. The shop has plenty of seating. Good for sitting down and working or reading. We went today to curator coffee and ordered a caramel iced decaf latte and a honey iced coffee. Their coffee was amazing. I'm gonna say one of the best coffee shops in San Antonio. If you've never been here before you need to try it !! They sell homemade pottery, homemade dog bones and other little knickknacks. They have a book exchange the only way you can get a book is to take one and exchange it for another. It was packed no tables available so that should tell you something about this place, it's a very quiet place. There were a lot of people in there working on their computers and some doing some college homework. I do want to mention that they have these homemade pastries, some are vegan and some or not. Very cool place! So my friend invited me to get a coffee with her for a Yelp event she RSVP. The place is a small gem tucked away in a shopping center off of Thousand Oaks. The staff is super friendly and continually checked on us during our visit. The place is clean and the atmosphere screams cozy. My friend ordered the cold brew lavender latte with oat milk, and I ordered the cold brew chocolate latte with oat milk. I did like that they offered milk substitutions considering I'm not a huge fan of whole milk. They asked us if it was for here or to go we decided to stay and enjoy the nice coffee shop. The shop does offer a few activities that you can participate in like painting and clay crafts. They support local artists which I thought was awesome! The owner makes a lot of the mugs that are used there and they sell a large variety of items. I really enjoy myself and my coffee. The lavender coffee sounds unique but it is definitely a must try. I really enjoyed the aroma you get with your sip. The chocolate one was good but if I had to choose again I would definitely go with the lavender. The coffee had a nice crisp clean taste that you don't find very often in your coffee. I really liked my cat coaster. I am a cat mom so that definitely made me feel at home. If you're in the area I would stop by and support this wonderful business and everything they have to offer. The pastries looked great so I'll have to try it next time I stop in. I came to Curator Coffee for the Yelp Badges & Brews event with my dad who is also a big coffee lover! Curator Coffee was easy to find and had a cute little store front with a small table and a larger bench out front for patrons. Inside, it had a very casual atmosphere with pottery and artwork everywhere you looked. I liked that the space was one that is relaxing but also gave you so many things to look at because of the creative pieces. There is plenty of seating if you include all of the stools at the coffee bar area, but it did seem like they could use a few more tables. We ordered the following: - Cappuccino with Sugar-free Almond Milk - Cappuccino with regular milk - Cinnamon Roll The almond milk cappuccino was good, but definitely not one of the best I've had. I also thought it seemed to cool off a lot quicker than at some other coffee shops that I frequent. While I loved the unique mug my drink was served in, it leads me to believe that they don't hold the temperature of drinks as well as some other mugs. Each drink was also served on a hand made coaster which was cute. As for the cinnamon roll, it was good and a nice sweet treat but also nothing that I would write home about/ order again. All in all, this is a cute coffee shop that I would visit again if a friend asked me too, but isn't one I would select myself or add into my usual coffee shop rotation. read more

This is a very cozy little coffee shop that makes you feel like you are visiting a friends house. It was my first time coming here but I loved that the employees greeted many of the customers by their names. The drinks and food were delicious. First, I love coffee. Second, I love an eclectic business especially a bookstore, florist or a coffee shop. Taking advantage of my Yelp elite privilege I decided to swoop by and grab some coffee. I love this place. And yes, it's eclectic. I was greeted warmly and given the first timer's introduction. Very artsy vibe going on. All of the items on the shelf spaces are for sale and are created by local artists or the baristas. They even have pottery classes you can sign up for. I chose an iced lavender espresso and to start my morning right I thought I'd try something new. I can't remember what I had but I know it had orange flavor to it. We had such a wonderful trip to Curator Coffee, and I'm so glad to know about them. We stopped by on a Friday night after dinner. The two young ladies working at the counter were so friendly and spent some time telling us about their pottery and coffee concept. It just so happens that my mother-in-law's birthday is coming up, so we bought her a mug and some coffee beans. I know she'll love the story behind the pottery and the shop. The mug we picked out happened to have been made by the woman who made our coffee. So we got some pics to send to my mother-in-law to go along with the mug, coffee, and story. The shop was not very busy, yet several groups were enjoying their time making their own pottery. They were pleasant and didn't mind us walking around them to look at the art on the walls. The coffee was yummy. My husband and I each got a hot mocha coffee. We had planned to get cold, but then they asked if we wanted them hot, and since it was a little chilly out, we said YES! Curator Coffee where have you been all my life? During my recent visit to this amazing local coffee shop I ordered their warm matcha latte with oat milk and lavender. I am not exaggerating when I say this was THE BEST matcha I've ever had in my entire life. I swear I could drink that all day, every day for the rest of my life and would be the happiest person on earth. Besides their delicious coffee, the owner Yuli and staff is absolutely amazing. They are super sweet and you can tell how much they love what they do. I also like that Yuli is supporting local artists by letting them sell their pieces at her coffee shop! This is some of the best balanced coffee you will taste. The baristas do a really incredible job. They also exude a great joy in interacting with their customers and make you feel at home. I love cappuccinos, and I think they make the best or at least top 3 in the city, for certes. As for the establishment... it is eclectic. You see a great number of handmade objects that you can buy and take home. It is quite enchanting and my wife bought me a beautiful mug here last Christmas. Curator Coffee was a newly discovered place and it was worth it. The place is charmingly decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere. Curator's coffee and tea flavors are nothing to scoff at either. Ranging from a Affogato to Rose Latte, they offer a variety of interesting flavors. I had their lavender latte, which was excellent and can't wait to try the Rose Latte. They had run out of it , but the lavender was a great substitute. I certainly will be back to sample some more of their coffees and teas, and, maybe, to hang out for a bit. read more

I absolutely love the warm and inviting energy, as soon as you walk in. Every time i am here, I feel like home! It's usually very busy which is telling of how awesome this coffee shop is! This is just the cutest place! Tucked away in a retail strip center near a busy Bill Miller and KFC, this is a hidden gem. The adorable, enthusiastic owner (also a ceramic artist) is usually at the front taking orders with a smile. She will be happy to tell you all about the shop, the art and artisans. So fun! All of the coffee is sourced from local roasters. Recently I had the Lavendar Latte served in a cool one-of-a-kind ceramic mug. Sitting outside at a little table on a glorious day with a special drink is just the best! Curator also has a changing daily assortment of baked goods from a local baker. My favorite so far is the blueberry scone - light and SO FLAVORFUL! This place also offers regular ceramic making classes, coffee education classes, and even a special traditional tea ceremony! I came here on my day off in hopes of finding another tasty coffee spot on my list. Mind you, my caffeine meter was on low, and I needed some coffee stat lol. I drove up, and the place was easy to find. Nestled in a strip mall near thousand oaks. I love the vibe inside. The baristas were so sweet, and they truly made sure everyone was helped. The pastries remind me of another coffee establishment I go to, and that only meant that the coffee was not going to disappoint. Love that the mugs were made by local artists and supporting small businesses was important. I stepped out of my comfort zone and got a honey latte. Never had one before, so why not? lol.
