We stopped by yesterday to have lunch after a morning on the wine trail and we were so glad we did! Before we talk about the food, just want to give a shout out to our waitress who was just phenomenal-- I wish I would have caught her name! She was so attentive and quick to help if we had questions. We tried the sampler, and others at the table had different brats. Everyone said their meals were great-- the sampler is more than enough for two people, and can certainly be a snack for a group of four. Each of the brats are seasoned so well, but my personal favorite was the andouille-- it was spicy and seasoned to perfection with a crunch when you bite into it. The bread that came with the sample was also great- really crispy and warm! We were also able to try each of the sauces, and the banana pepper mustard and beer mustard are delicious! So much so, we bought a jar of the banana pepper mustard to take home with us. There were plenty of seats inside and outside the restaurant. I can't really sit here and say this was a positive or negative experience; it was just kind of odd but ultimately it delivered what it was supposed to. My cousin chums and I stopped by here on Labor Day after our mini wine tour in need of sustenance aka real food (a quality all of the wineries we went to were severely lacking in). From what I could tell, this is sort of an extension of the Arbor Hill Winery - to access Brew & Brats, we actually ended up walking through what I assume was Arbor Hill's main gift shop/wine tasting area, which sold more in the line of quasi-bougie condiments than actual wine. We briefly considered doing a third winery tasting here but I just didn't like the vibe, so we continued on to the back of the premises where this restaurant/bar was. Perfectly pleasant in there; the main establishment seemed to be centered on a barn-like structure (it almost felt like it had a former life as a ye olde general store, then got cleaned out to be a bar), though we ended up sitting/eating right outside in a little pavilion area with picnic tables (great weather for it). I also used the facilities at one point, which were unique - also a bit barn-like and felt very...temporary storage unit but not in a bad way, if that makes sense. Everything was spacious and clean from my perspective. When in Rome, I think you get brats. There was understandably a Bavarian-themed tinge to this menu, but heavily Americanized. So sauerkraut was a pretty pervasive ingredient, but it also had a lot of mainstream salad and BBQ sides. Interesting for sure. I didn't want to complicate things after multiple wine tastings, so I opted to get the Arbor Hill Sherried Wine Sausage with a side of baked beans. Honestly not bad; the marinating of the sherried wine gave it a nice fruity/sweet tinge. I'm more of a hot dog connoisseur when it comes to my weenies and I'm not a fan of condiments; even if I were though, something this flavorful probably doesn't need to rely on them. And I can always get down with a toasted bun. The beans were just okay; too sweet for my palate. I was expecting something more savory given the bacon, but literally every other ingredient drowns it out. I'd remove the brown sugar - if the sauce is already sherried wine-flavored, you really don't need to double-down. The service was honestly a little strange/awkward. Our waitress was friendly enough and given what we were ordering, it would have been insane if the wait time was more than 10 minutes or so (and it wasn't). We were in and out of there relatively quickly, giving us plenty of time to test drive our Airbnb hot tub. But she was very flustered and agitated throughout our stay there, constantly apologizing for the chaos and wait times, which were nonexistent. Every time she came to our table, it was accompanied by a flurry of, "Sorry, it's just been CRAZY with all of these people," which, given that there were literally two other parties and tons of empty seats just wasn't accurate and made no sense. My assumption is that they had a crazy lunchtime rush or something that she was still processing and/or recovering from, but I really don't know. Regardless, it didn't really detract from the overall meal or anything. The prices were out-and-out fantastic. For a legit entree and sides, casual as they were, $15 or so was a legit deal. This whole Naples area was generally pretty affordable, to its credit. Not really my kind of food in the grand scheme of things, but it was fine for what it was. Absolutely incredible. I wish I got our waitresses name, because she went above and beyond for us and other customers around. Sat outside during a thunderstorm, which was perfect after a scorching hot day. Waitress did her absolute best to keep our food not wet lol. You could tell she was busy, but she went out of her way to communicate with us and make sure our food and drinks came out at a good time. Food was AMAZING. I stopped here on a little wine tour for lunch. Service was incredible. This place is so cozy and welcoming. Really really enjoyed it. There was a fire pit out in front of the bar if you wanted to warm up. The food was decent bar fair nothing out of this world. But a place I could sit and have a drink all day. Live music as well. This is a fantastic local family owned restaurant with spectacular service with a smile. Such a cool building that served as an old carriage house with great antique decor. We have eaten their brats served on a fresh baked firm roll with broad selection of different sauces they make in house. Love these with a local Ale. We have dined at their Friday night "steak nights" that are so popular with locals. Always live music so that's a bonus. In summer they have the tents up so you can dine outside on a nice evening. We have also attended their Brewery Pairing events with a 4 course menu paired with local brews. This is our favorite event as the menus are always unique and delicious! read more

There's no reason they could have the food out in 15 or less since all their doing is heating up brats and serving premade sides. I decided to check this place out because I was staying at Honeoye Lake for a few weeks and thought I should check out local places versus driving back up to the city. It's a cute and quaint restaurant. I went on a gloomy rainy day but still enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the Bristol Brat and German Potato salad, which were both good. My favorite sauce was the champagne garlic mustard sauce. I also ordered the Classic Traminette white wine (I prefer semi-sweet/semi-dry wines) and really loved the taste. I was surprised as this is a local winery and haven't had much luck finding wines I like. Service was great and attentive. It was about an hour from closing time on 5/16/22 but we'd just arrived in town and on a rainy Sunday choices by late afternoon were limited. We figured we could order and eat in an hour but one never knows if staff just want to leave early. Crystal was wrapping things up but was just as welcoming as could be. She explained the menu and brought us pop corn. That seems their typical thing, but was the second delightful moment after such a great welcome. Hubs and I ordered different glasses of wine and different brats as well. We were the only ones in the place and Crystal chatted with us like old friends, while she continued with pouring our wine and starting our meals. We really enjoyed the wine and reading all the humorous signs around the interior. Nice! Our meal arrived quickly and was great comfort food. Before we finished a party of 3 came by, thinking he place was open longer that evening. Again, Crystal was just as sweet as could be taking and preparing their orders. My bet is Crystal is this wonderful with everyone. Very casual place for a beer and a sausage. In warm weather their seating capacity goes up 10X with tables under a couple of tents. The staff is super friendly and the food is very good - not a big menu so if you don't like sausages you might want to try someplace else. I really liked the selection of sauces on the tables. I loved the pub mustard so much that I bought a jar of this sweet stuff. The andouille sausage was spicy hot as advertised - even the chicken sausage had a nice kick. The sauerkraut and German potato salad were pretty good though I've had better. Oh my GOODNESS! My family has been talking about This place for a few years and we finally made it here. It was just in the nick of time. We pulled in at 4:45pm 15 minutes before closing and they sat our party of 9 (3 adults and 6 kids) with no complaint. The food was spectacular. My super finicky daughter declared "best food ever" and I would not say she is wrong. Our server Jessica was a star. She never stopped smiling even with the 1000 questions the kids asked. This place is such a great, laid back hang out spot. When I come home to visit my family, we always end up here. Members big and small always have a good time. My nieces and nephews love to dance to the bands and of course eat all the popcorn they can. There are always a few beers available and plenty of wines to choose from. They have wine slushies in the summer time and this last stop I noticed they had a few well drinks made with spirits from Black Button. I love the local connections. The brats are great and come in so many flavors. I was there this past Friday for steak night, which was great! You get a decent sized steak with two sides to go with your drink. I thought it was a pretty good deal! The people there are always great. Most times you will see the owners and winemakers walking around, talking, and making sure everyone is having a good time. And my vegan fiance never complained once as a matter of fact she loves their vegan sausage and there salted chips. The funny thing is they have all these wonderful beers and I don't drink beer at all, but if someone does and they like brats then this is the place for you.. Some nights they have live music and they have picnic tables with garage doors that open if the weather is nice and they also have an outside tent. The sides are wonderful- my favorite is the German Potato salad- like my family made when I was a kid. This is a hidden gem! Tucked away behind the Arbor Hill Wineries and right next door to the Brown Hound Bistro... you can easily make this little spot into quite an evening! We got to Brown Hound a little early and decided to venture over to the newly opened Brew & Brats. We were greeted by Tom, the manager, to a special of a $4 beer tasting! We got to taste four very generous samples of their local brews, including a pale ale, IPA, lager, and the Canandaigua Lake Ale, which was my favorite. He was extremely generous in the servings, and we even got a little souvenir beer glass as part of the deal! Also served popcorn as a nice little treat during the tasting. I think this place offered you more for your money, at least compared to Hazlitt's, which we went to earlier that afternoon. The staff was more than friendly, taking time to explain to us the difference between the brews and what to expect. There was even a Bachelorette party there celebrating, so it ended up being quite a fun afternoon. Although we didn't eat there, they did have an impressive menu! They do great pairings of a brat (all different and inventive combinations of hot dogs) and a brew to go along with it, all for what seemed like a reasonable price. The inside had a very Finger-Lakes-local flare, and was filled with locals to match, all seated on large round wooden tables. I was so impressed with how friendly and nice an atmosphere this was. This is restaurant/ brewery is a converted barn that serves delicious brats and other items. The beer flights were inexpensive and tasty. We ordered the brat sampler plate to try all the different selections. This is a great option to circumvent bread although their rolls are terrific. I loved the andouille best. The German potato salad is fresh and served warm. It is one of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend it. My favorite beers were the porter and the wheat ale. They offer a strip steak that is cut and prepared outside on a grill in view of patio seating. It seemed to be a crowd favorite. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive.
