I got the pumpkin spice latte, and the coffee tasted so fresh with the perfect amount of sweetness. It was honestly one of the best pumpkin spice lattes I've ever had. I also got a simple plain bagel, but it was so fresh and really good. It paired perfectly with the coffee. The dried flowers, the picture of the witches, the cute ghosts and the cauldron with more dried flowers had me daydreaming about having this fireplace in my living room. The beautiful chandelier illuminated the room. More dried flowers hung from the ceiling. All of it is just magical It's the most stunning coffee shop I have been to. I finally got my drink ordered. After looking over the menu earlier, I decided to go with the Slasher S'more. A dark chocolate toasted marshmallow latte wit all sorts of goodies on top.... how do you not want to get that? Magic mocha, Spellbound latte, Good Witch latte, whoever came up with these names and concoctions need an award. My drink was everything I had dreamt about. It was so good! It tasted just like a S'more. It was also crafted so delicately with toasted marshmallows, graham crackers and blood splatter. Stopping at this coffee joint was one of the highlights of coming to Salem today. I'm happy I was able to grab a drink, vibe out in the shop and be able to appreciate this stunning venue. That was pretty much the vibe, although there were fewer seasonal / spooky themed menu items than I would have guessed. There was a strong emphasis on pumpkin and fall drinks offered, which I'm not looking for in July. There is no separate entrance, you have to go through the Blackcraft clothing store. It's fun to look at and has some funky things - I've always wanted to check out the store anyways - but it smelled like moth balls to me which was wild for a clothing store, so I felt like I already had that smell in my nose while I was waiting for coffee and taking the first sips - not ideal. Service was pretty quick and kind of friendly. I got the Midsummer Latte, which was mostly raspberry flavored. It was the perfect level of sweet, but got a little weird tasting as it warmed up a little as I walked around the city in a heat wave, so make sure you drink this one pretty quick for the best effect! The freeze dried raspberry pieces on top were so tart and tangy, they'd catch me off guard every time I got one in my mouth but in a fun way! It made the flavor more authentic. The decor in the coffee shop was very fun, as were their take home coffee bag brew names (ex: Labrewbrew, lol!) It's a small coffee area and seemingly had no air conditioning, I was getting sweaty just standing around for the few short minutes it took to get my drink. I kept thinking the poor baristas must be so uncomfortable. Pricing was on the higher side ($9 and change including a tip for a medium ish sized specialty latte), but for such a touristy area I was (begrudgingly) expecting this. Overall I'd love to try it again, maybe next time getting the featured caramel apple drink that sounded good. Like a lot of places in Salem I experienced, it seems like they're just not super equipped for heat wave temperatures unfortunately.

Front Street serves Jim's Organic Coffee, and the quality came through in every sip. I also loved the coffeehouse's cozy, lived-in atmosphere and its visible LGBTQ inclusivity. It felt like a place created for community: warm, expressive, relaxed, and welcoming to everyone. That matters to me just as much as a great cup of coffee. I visited today for the soft open...the staff were so friendly, and it looks so nice in there. The food is delicious! The egg sandwich with sausage was flavorful, warm, and easy to eat on the go. Seating is limited, but all of the food is easy to get on the go. The coffee is amazing. They use Tandem Roasters, and I thought the drip coffee was some of the best I have had at a local coffee shop. I also tried the "cereal milk latte," and it was so much fun! They are currently featuring a fruity pebbles one, and it brought me back to my childhood for sure. I definitely recommend this place for Salem locals, commuters, and those looking for a quick bite or delicious coffee. Staff are planning to do a grand opening later in the month! read more

Brew Box is one of those rare places that lives up to the hype. Though compact in size, it more than delivers with quality ingredients, creative drinks, and genuinely good food -- small footprint, big flavor. The staff keeps everything moving efficiently even during busy rushes. The specialty drinks are creative without being overly sugary or gimmicky, and you can tell they actually care about what they're serving. It also has a much more authentic local feel than many of the overly touristy spots around Salem. If you want a really solid latte and a quick, affordable to-go breakfast, Brew Box is absolutely worth the stop. read more

Brew Box was my top-pick #1 spot to go to, to start our "snack tour" in Salem. And by snack tour, I mean mostly us eating small bites of anything that looks or sound good and this was the way to start our trip! This pretty little cafe had character and seems to encourage creativity when it comes to their drinks and baked goods. They may come off as just simple bites but they are any but. I ordered food here via take out and it was amazing. I saw this place on yelp and the interiors were awesome. I thought I should try to order here so I did. The delivery was fast and the food was still hot when it got here. The staff was also friendly and he wore a mask. Overall my experience here was great. Kudos to Brew Box. read more

I came here for the high ratings but was underwhelmed. I think the reason why they score so high is because there decor is different than anything else in Salem. Much more modern. But the coffee itself was very weak with not a lot of flavor and the customer service was Luke warm. Not super impressed. read more

They do things like pack savory items with bakery goods and more than once I have opened the bag to find a complete mess from an exploded donut or from icing all over the packaging of a sandwich. Speaking of sandwiches, the bread has been burned on my order more than once and the filling is so skimpy you can barely tell its there. I know we're all shocked at rising food costs but charging $11 for a small sandwich with barefy any filling is not fair. Other local shops are not fleecing customers this way. Do not recommend.

It was the perfect level of sweet, but got a little weird tasting as it warmed up a little as I walked around the city in a heat wave, so make sure you drink this one pretty quick for the best effect! The freeze dried raspberry pieces on top were so tart and tangy, they'd catch me off guard every time I got one in my mouth but in a fun way! It made the flavor more authentic. The decor in the coffee shop was very fun, as were their take home coffee bag brew names (ex: Labrewbrew, lol!) It's a small coffee area and seemingly had no air conditioning, I was getting sweaty just standing around for the few short minutes it took to get my drink. I kept thinking the poor baristas must be so uncomfortable. Pricing was on the higher side ($9 and change including a tip for a medium ish sized specialty latte), but for such a touristy area I was (begrudgingly) expecting this. Overall I'd love to try it again, maybe next time getting the featured caramel apple drink that sounded good. Like a lot of places in Salem I experienced, it seems like they're just not super equipped for heat wave temperatures unfortunately.
