I came down for a work meeting and got here a bit early. This place looked nice and friendly so I stopped in. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it came out before I could walk to my table, which was probably 5 feet away from the counter. Impressively fast service. Deliciously smooth, sweet and icy. I ordered the veggie hummus wrap and added some chicken. Also very good. It had a bit of a spicy kick to it which balanced out the veggies in the wrap. Chicken was $2 extra but worth it because I needed the proteins. Also they have wi-fi (thank the internet unicorns!), local artwork adorns the walls and they look like they have some pretty awesome frappes --- Muddy Mocha and Caramel Snickers sound dang good to me. Probably one of my favorite places in this city! The coffee options are virtually limitless; the drink menu is extensive and the baristas are very flexible when it comes to drink customization. The atmosphere is calm and acoustics keep the noise level down while maintaining privacy. The desserts are always delicious, I've ordered half a dozen different cakes and cheesecakes, and I have never been disappointed. They also provide live music on occasion, which adds to the experience. My only complaint is that they charge extra for whipped cream. Don't bother with Starbucks, when it comes to service and tastiness there's no contest. read more

I absolutely LOVE Brew-n-Bake. When walking in you're automatically greeted by friendly baristas. My favorite drink would have to be the hybrid (hot chocolate & coffee). Not too crazy about their morning pastries because I'm not a morning pastry person. However, they do have an AMAZING Bacon, Egg, Avocado breakfast sandwich. The only down to their morning sandwiches is that they only start serving after a certain time. If you're on your way to work in the AM you can't get a yummy sandwich to go with your hot or cold drink of choice. Another favorite part of Brew-n-Bake are their desserts. Something about the moistness & creamy frosting is the perfect combination. You can also order a cake if you give them some notice. Have ordered a cake for a work event from there and it was a total hit. This place is such a gem in a place like Lake Jackson. read more

From entering the building the customer service was very welcoming, nice atmosphere. I happened to stop by here while waiting for enterprise across the parking lot to open. The food was decadent, 5 stars easy. Recommended. A relaxed atmosphere, decent music playing, very pretty receptionist working the front. All their bakery is freshly made there and their espresso is very flavorful and full bodied . This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a coffee and maybe a snack while just sitting down and relaxing for a while with some quiet music playing in the back. The menu is not very large, but it is served is very good. I had both sweet baked goods and lunch sandwich and can recommend either. Their scones are fantastic. I enjoy the free WiFi and genuine artsy low key coffee shop feel this place has. Their frappes are good, even if something isn't listed on their menu they will make it for you. Nice little coffee shop. This was my first time there and had a cool, casual vibe. The place was packed though. I had the Snickers coffee thing and it was delicious. It really tasted like a liquid Snickers. My husband had the Americano and said it was very good. The prices are reasonable and you don't have to worry about talking in a normal voice. Some people were there studying and some were just hanging out. They even have some games to keep you occupied. read more

THE OATMEAL COOKIE PIE WAS DELICIOUS and baristas were nice But I ordered a iced mocha and it tasted like chocolate milk with no coffee flavor at all and I know its a sweet drink but I asked how many shots were put in to it and they told me 2. My sister ordered a plain iced latte and I tried hers and it tasted like milk. Really? Do not order a espresso drink here. Maybe there brewed coffee is better. I personally think this place is the best little coffee shop around. They are friendly it's a very comfortable spot. They have many flavors of coffee an their pastries are too die for. They have a delicious monkey bread just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The oatmeal cookie with the light filling is great too. If I had a complaint it would be if they could have a drive through. Some people are usually in a rush or to tired to get out. Great shop hands down. read more
