Best place in San Antonio for home brew supplies. They also offer educational advice and can order any hard to find items.

HELP!!! BUYER BEWARE!!…read moreFirstly, I hate to leave a negative comment but the company basically stole our money and sent a defective item. After our order, we had to stay on top of this company to get them to ship your item. Our purchase was a 9.25 Gallon / 35L DigiBoil Electric Brewing Kettle (110V) - KL07252 × 1. We received a defective item that smoked and shut off the first time we used it. We made multiple attempts to get a response to our request to have the itme replaced or get a refund. We got the run around. Issue was never resolved. We now have a $200 paperweight. Consider spending the extra money and buy through Amazon for no hassle return policy. if someone from the keg factory wants to finally address our issue, the order #52392 dated March 2022. thank you.

Back in October 2021, I ordered two (2) 7.39 gallon oak barrels costing $539 and change in which I never received. They charged my credit card and will not credit my money back. At the time of the order, there were no barrels in stock due to the shipping crisis. I elected to stay with Keg Factory. My mistake. Their customer service early on was quick but as time went on, they started ignoring my emails, and phone calls/meeting request. Once this happened, I issued a complaint with the San Antonio Better Business Bureau and per their process, they send them my complaint and give them 10 days to respond. Keg Factory ignored them. The SA Better Business Bureau recommended I file a complaint with the Texas State Attorney's Office. Hopefully they can do something about this. Instead of doing business with Keg Factory for your items, I would recommend MoreBeer.com or (MoreWine).

Came here for lunch - loved the atmosphere, fantastic playlist and service!…read more Could not enjoy their beers as it was a work lunch! Got the salad and pizza combo but so apparently did everyone else and with one person making the pizzas it was at least 35 minutes until we received ours and a good 20 minutes after we finished our salad - thankfully we had some time to spare! Salad was good - pizza good but for being prepared on the spot was okay - dough was a let down and it does not collapsed with Wild Barely or Pinthouse - good but not great!

I've been a long time customer to this establishment and enjoyed cocktails, (no longer an option…read morehere), exceptional beer , really good wings and pizza. Recently the waiters were all changed and cocktail service ended. We've been loyal customers so we decided to give the new crew the benefit of the doubt. We decided to grab some beers and watch the end of the Spurs game. The Brewery closes at 11:00, a waiter 5 minutes earlier closed our ticket courteously because they were closing. At 10:59 an employee, supposedly a manager, behind the bar, not assisting with any closing duties, rudely said in a loud voice " We're closing and shutting off the TV" Before that was said there was 50 seconds left in the game and we were putting on our coats. I said in response "this place sure has changed." Last time I encountered such rudeness was at the restaurant Ocho, also near the Riverwalk. They are now out of business. We will not be returning, sometime in the future we will look in to see if this person is still working here (though we have not seen her do much working besides lurk behind the bar and the ladies room door. Customer service is one of foundations of of any good business, hopefully this establishment will return to it's previous standards.

The location itself looks very rustic on the outside, but inside it's cool, modern and has plenty of seating. You'll find plenty of shade trees and two water stations along with some nonalcoholic drink options. There's no food truck on site, but they do offer a charcuterie board and I was told you can now bring your own grub (still might want to call and confirm though). At the bar inside you'll find a listing of their ciders including some guest taps that rotate. There's two unisex bathrooms near the bar and two sinks on the outside where everyone can watch you wash your hands. It should be mentioned that there is one oddity about this property and that is the small McCuistian family cemetery just a few hundred feet west of the driveway (see separate review). And if that cemetery is not enough to get your attention, the huge Live Oak cemetery is directly next-door with over a thousand graves to peruse through (yes, I reviewed that one too). So if you're looking for a place that produces high-quality craft cider and enjoy the rustic Hill country setting, this is it. A couple of items to note, Friday night is movie night on a big screen outside and on weekends they have live bands. 10 informative photographs included.
