Great coffee house in the heart of Vermilion! Right near all the shops! They have a vast array of coffees and teas. They also offer foods for lunch! They also have a train table in a few toys, laid out if you happen to bring your kids! Bathroom for customers only!

Visited this weekend during a super busy ice festival. The team did a great job and worked their butts off. I ordered 4 drinks: 2 kids hot cocoa, a toasted marshmallow steamer, and a regular hot cocoa with oat milk All were good.

Great little coffee shop. They have a wide variety of sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Huge selection of coffees, teas, and speciality drinks. I recommend the Nutty Irishman, but likely can't go wrong with anything. The setting is beautiful with the location being smack downtown and near the harbor. Definitely worth stopping in for a visit.

Great little coffee shop. We stopped here to get coffees. I usually do not get an iced coffee at places because I often think they aren't very good. However, I decided to get an iced coffee here and it was one of the best plain iced coffees I've ever had. My husband got a mocha and thought it was also pretty good. They are quick and friendly. Great spot to stop at.

This place was our home away from home this past summer. The coffee is excellent, the wait staff is attentive and friendly, and the baristas know their stuff. I'm a sucker for a good cold brew and their 15-hour brew of an Ethiopian blend is phenomenal. My wife prefers the vanilla lattes and they meet both of our needs with an extensive line of sugar free syrups. The smoothies are awesome, and their breakfast sandwiches are amazing! I've done the egg, avocado and pesto bagel, which is amazing! Highly recommend this wonderful coffeeshop in vacationland.

100% the best place to grab a coffee in Vermillion. Add it to your google map if you're planning on visiting!

Vermilion finally got a new coffee shop and it's everything I hoped it would be and more! When I saw a convenient street spot right outside, I snatched it up quickly. When I walked in, I immediately felt at home. I probably didn't get the whole scope of their vibe because it was a little topsy turvy due to covid, but even with it slightly modified, it was still cute. It was the quaint, simple nautical decor I was hoping for. I'm not a pure coffee drinker, so I appreciated all the tea and non-coffee options they had available. I tried the Nutty Blonde, an original latte creation, and loved it! One of the big things I noticed was a sign inside that said "we ship anywhere." I love the idea of sending a friend in another state coffee from my favorite beach town. They also sell cookies, light lunch fare and loose leaf tea inside. I just adored this place and wished it was closer...I'd hang out here all the time.

Normally I wouldn't write a bad review. I have ordered Brewed Awakening several times through door dash and almost every time I gotten my order something has been missing on my sandwich. I know this is not a DoorDash issue. It sucks to order an egg, cheese, sausage on an everything bagel and constantly get it received wrong. It's a pretty simple order right? I either receive no sausage on it (which I pay extra for) or I get the wrong bagel. If the store is out of the bagel they should let DoorDash know to contact the seller to see what an appropriate bagel should be added instead of assuming. Would love to have my order correct more when I order it verses it always being made wrong. Also I did not end up eating this bagel because it was not even toasted and if it was I'm shock this is considered toasted. Was not a good bagel.

I wasn't so I had no qualms. That said, this is a local breakfast and lunch spot and it is just like you imagine. Small, neighborly, and homemade. I can't recall the name of my breakfast but it gave you the staples -- eggs, bacon and two hot cakes. I added breakfast potatoes and had a chocolate milk. It was more food than I could handle so go hungry. The total was actually less than I anticipated for all I got (portions are far more so order less and add on if still hungry). There were regulars there when I sat down and the owner seemed to know each of them. That's the spot I like-- the hometown spot to grab good food and catch up with the locals. The hotcakes alone were enough to bring me back to Susie's! Make sure you add that to you breakfast/lunch spots before leaving the beach town. You won't regret it. The diner is smaller and had dim lighting but the smells from the bacon and griddle make your mouth water. Be patient and thoughtful but be hungry when you go!

I was lucky and snagged a parking space in front of the business; their parking is VERY limited and I'm surprised I didn't have to use a lot that was across a bridge. (Note that the bridge is right by the coffee shop, so it wouldn't have been a long trek at all.) I ordered a Butterscotch Latte and a Sausage, Biscuit & Egg breakfast sandwich; snagged a seat near the front of the store; and settled in for a relaxing break between my hikes. The coffee was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot! While seating in the lower level is limited, I've learned reading other reviews that there is an outdoor patio and an upper level too. Their website mentions that they run a sundry market here too; however I didn't spend much time shopping in the interest of not stretching my wallet too far during my travels. I also didn't check out the wine cellar in the lower level. While this shop is little, it clearly has a lot to offer, and I am so glad I found it during my visit to Cuyahoga. I'd absolutely stop by again during future visits to the area...and I'd love to time my next visit so I can check out that wine cellar!

Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! I am giving Cafe Blanc 4.5 stars out of 5.

We all visited Cafe Blanc for the first time and loved our experience especially the large (free) parking lot. We sat on the 2nd level towards the back. QUICK REVIEW (read this if you don't want to read this whole review): Try the potato pancakes. Great food and service. Slightly more elevated cafe. Busy during peak morning/afternoon hours and most likely less busy in the evenings. I have not been in the evening yet. Free parking lot and free wifi. FOOD - there are lots of food options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, and pastries. I arrived around 10:20am so I wanted breakfast. I read that the croissants are okay but I haven't tried them. I ordered the potato pancakes, blueberry hibiscus tea (hot) as a dine-in order plus a slice of almond cake as a takeout order. The potato pancakes ($19) was delicious. It comes with 3 thick potato pancakes topped an egg on the center and with bacon bits spread all over. The potato pancakes also come with sour cream on the side which I didn't realize so I moved that to the side of my plate because I don't like or eat sour cream. I would order the potato pancakes again as a savory breakfast item but $19 is a little steep for the price. The blueberry hibiscus tea ($4) was a refreshing drink served on a mug. If you enjoy the combination of white tea leaves, rose hips, natural blueberry, and hibiscus then this tea is for you. I also ordered an almond cake slice ($6) but to go. The almond cake is a light and tasty cake with sliced/shaved almonds on top. SERVICE -- Friendly. Me and one of the shorter female employee had a nice laugh when I went down later in the day to order an almond cake. They started getting busy when I arrived after 10am on a weekday but I was able to walk right up to the front counter to order. The buzzer handed to me buzzed probably within 15-20 mins and I went down to get my order. I believe the tea that I ordered was ready first. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Prices are higher than a traditional cafe. The plus is that there is free wifi so it's a perfect spot to work on your laptop. The tables are big and the chairs are comfortable. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 99/250 total reviews in 2026 - 940 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026

There's a promotion May 1-14 (2026) with their special (black sesame latte) where you can get 50% off of you order off their app. There wasn't an issue ordering off the app, the only thing is that if you order off the app, you don't get the restaurant pager/buzzer so you may have to check in at the register to see if they got the order, which is what I did since it was pretty busy. Ended with the black sesame latte which was aesthetically pleasing like their other drinks--though warning if you don't like the gritty texture like all black sesame drinks are, then maybe this isn't for you.
