It is geared towards the pub crowd.(Obviously) The service was good but in my opinion it is too loud and hectic to enjoy a quiet meal with friends and or acquaintances. Conversation is tough to manage. Now I am quite sure that this is very dependent on the time of day you are there. As a Sports bar I say go for it! As far as food, it is really good pub food. Great atmosphere for any sports junky. I was surprised that there was no wait in a Friday night and the food came out very fast. We ordered chicken tenders, boneless wings/fries and a salad. All three items were made perfectly and tasted great. Large portions. The only negative was the server-she didn't fill drinks or check on us. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for the check. The server we had rather made out with her bf who also works here and make sure he had drinks and food than care to help us. I'm overall disappointed with this location. I love going to pjs but this was a disappointment. The food came out cold and my chicken tenders were tiny and to top it off it was my best friend's birthday. Don't sleep on PJ's. The service and food were excellent. The waitress was super nice and constantly checked on us to make sure we were happy. First off, you have to get the loaded tots for an app. They are the best loaded tots I have ever had. When I go out to eat I try and get new things to try. I decided to go for it and get the Keto Fajita Bowl which is grilled chicken with cauliflower rice, sautéed peppers and onions, avocado, sour cream, cheddar jack, pico de gallo and chipotle-lime vinaigrette. For as much as I'm in to food, I'm really bad at identifying obvious chain restaurants. That was the case when P.J. Willy's opened up in Spring Township. "New restaurant opening? I can't wait to try more of the local flavor!" It wasn't until I Googled the place and realized they already had a dozen locations in the Northeast. And local flavor it was not! Well, they DID have pretzel bites, so I suppose that could be paying slight homage to Pretzel County, USA (which would be nearby Lancaster, although Berks can hold its own). Anyways, this place has a ton of TVs, and you can get super rowdy for any sporting event. I was literally standing up in the "dining room" and screaming at the top of my lungs during the last Monday night Eagles' game. And no one batted an eye. The food is downright atrocious. Think of your grocer's freezer section and then, if you can, brace yourself for even worse quality. That's what you'll be served here. I'd prefer bagel bites or just straight up Ellio's pizza to be honest. And while we're reminiscing about my 90's cuisine, let me just give a shout-out to Gushers. Thanks, Gushers. I miss you. I was recently at PJ's in West Lawn and was thoroughly disappointed with the manager's, Hillary, behavior. Instead of addressing customer concerns professionally, she was dismissive, unhelpful, and very rude. This has not been the first time we have dealt with her and she was rude. We have tried booking large groups and parties in that past and our experience with her is always unpleasant. Not sure how an establishment can allow someone like that to run the business. Not the best today. Mid Saturday afternoon, NY Eve - two personable bartenders who were replaced around 3pm by a manager. Not good. I come here for the atmosphere and beer selection - and the ladies- sorry if you don't like that input but if I wanted to see a 40 year old sleeve tatted manager behind the bar, I would not frequent this place. One of the ladies accidentally broke some pint glasses and got sent elsewhere. I get it, money and costs but when you take away the Sports Bar staff, it becomes pedestrian. After that there was a tip of over 6 dollars automatically put on my bill when the maximum requirement for a tip was 3.25 and I wasn't going to put the tip on my card they just assumed I was going to put it on. My daughter had her baby shower today and I had it hosted by PJ Whelihan's. This was my first time doing something like this. PJ's coordinator made it so easy. They had everything set up and looking great. The party started at 1:00pm and the servers had everything ready to go right on time. We had a cheese tray, vegetable and fruit tray along with hot dishes. Meatballs, turkey and stuffing, pulled pork and sliders. To top it off with chicken fingers. It was ALL DELICIOUS!!! The servers were active making sure everyone was taken care of. I was very impressed and glad we chose PJ's. My hats off to our servers, the chefs and to the leadership team. Great job, THANK YOU!!! This is our 3rd or 4th visit to this location. Previous times were ok. This time, the server tried but the kitchen could not keep up. Our appetizers took 40 minutes and meals over and 1.5 hours. Great place to catch a game. Plenty of TVs around the huge open dining area. Beer was cold and delicious and the food was awesome. Some had the French onion soup and stated it was the best they had.
