Really loved this brewery! I'm not a super huge fan of beer, but my boyfriend likes breweries so we decided to give this one a shot. They have a really huge selection and variety of beers, (and sizes) which was great. I got the tart your engines - belgian tart ale with Raspberry and it was surprisingly delicious. I used to hate beer so if I say its delicious it has to be good! We also ordered a mango seltzer and the duck beer blonde ale. Those were really good as well. As for the food, it was all amazing! We ordered a pizza, Buffalo chicken fries, French toast sticks, and fried pickles. French toast sounds weird with beer but it works, trust me. The pizza took over an hour to come out which they did warn us about. The rest of the food came out in about 15 minutes. There was plenty of space and I like that it was very open. However, there weren't many tables at all. There was a lot of wasted space in the middle outside and they easily could have put 20 more tables, even just standing tables. Make sure you have somewhere to put your food first because everything is pretty big. I also wish they had more heaters. I only saw a few outside and it was a bit chilly even with two jackets. They played good music all night and it seemed like a chill, fun place to hang with friends. There were so many families, babies in strollers, and little kids running around. It was a nice fun vibe! Beer here is great, they're best known for their IPAs and house made seltzers. Their Brewery X food truck has normal food truck pricing but their portions are much bigger than they are at any other brewery. The brewery is huge and it's dog and kid friendly. They have either a live band or dj perform and they have a lot of TVs inside. The only thing this place is missing is having billiard or at least some board games. Pretty big and chill brewery! Parking lot is a little small for the size of the brewery and parking can be hectic, you may need to park in areas next to the brewery and walk over. There's lots of seating, you just come in grab a seat anywhere and then go buy beers at their many counters and then towards the back are food trucks. Lots of beer selections, I really enjoyed the fruit flavored beers and seltzers. Pepperoni pizza is pretty good, slices are pretty big. $5 a slice or you can save $$ and do a whole pie, 8 slices for $25. Overall cool place to kick it, eat and drink some beers. Came here one night with my coworkers. Parking on a Friday night is very limited. The lot was full but the security guard said we could park at the business over on Shepherd. The entire brewery is outdoor so I recommend everyone who comes during the winter to dress warm because they are limited on those gas heat lamps. There are many tables outdoors so you just have to find an open table. Indoor where you order the alcohol have very limited seating. I love their alcohol menu as there is such a large variety to try from. There is something for everyone since there are seltzers for light drinkers, IPAs, fruity, hoppy, etc. There was a food truck outside that serves burgers, pizza and fries. I had ordered pickle burger and surprisingly it was plain/bland BUT the burger was extremely juicy which made it good. Meh is all I can say. Finally tried this place after working nearby for 2 years. When you walk in for a beer at 1:30 in the afternoon and it's not crowded and they serve craft beer in a plastic cup that's the first strike. One hazy beer on tap that tastes watered down and zero mouthfeel. Large outdoor beer garden with oversized tables and chairs that my 5' frame found difficult to sit comfortably and try to sip on my watery $10.00 beer that I couldn't even finish. This place is always busy when I go, which is good for the business, but bad for the customers that can't find a good seat. There is no time limit so parties could be there for hours. The most recent time I've went, there was a man throwing around a football with his young son and his son kept missing the ball and it was hitting people as they were walking through. Review is based on the one Margherita pizza I got via to-go. At first look, it looks and smells awesome. There are many tomato's and basil leaves. When you pick up a slice, it's holding its own. The crust is thin and crispy. As you take a few bites, you realize it's more like a glorified cheesy bread with a few toppings. I've never had a margherita where there was no tomato sauce. Correction, I've never had a pizza without a sauce (I think that's factual). Instead, they relied on the tomatoes on top as a substitute. That didn't work for me. The crust was also not very flavorful, and it was really greasy/oily. I'm not sure if it was from the cheese or if they drizzle olive oil on top. Overall, as a pizza, it fell short. As a cheesy bread, sure maybe. I hear the brewery has a nice vibe. The parking lot was packed on a weekday. I would visit for the brewery itself. read more

Brewery X is definitely one of the best breweries in OC. The atmosphere is always fun and vibrant. It's a great place to drink, catchup with people, or celebrate something. I think that brewery x has a great amount of food options, and the food is surprisingly really good. I've had pulled pork, french fries, pizza, wings, and more and they're all solid food options. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor areas are huge and there's lots of people on the weekends. There's also an inside area with lots of long tables. I celebrated a birthday here recently and I had the best time! We brought cards/games, had good drinks, and good food. I would recommend coming here with friends or family! This place is BUSY! We came here for a surprise engagement party. The groom to be booked an area weeks prior and ordered food and drinks enough for 20 people (but in reality, it probably fed more than that!) Drinks Pizza & Wings There's also a taco truck which I didn't get to try but the Margherita pizza we had was sooo delicious! I also had churros and I really enjoyed it. Parking wise- they have a hugeeee lot but there's also like hundreds of people the place can hold. I didn't get to see indoor but I wouldn't be surprised if it can hold more. We came here for a coworkers going away. Someone described this brewery as the megachurch of all breweries. Its massive! There is a giant outside area with food trucks. Inside you'll find two places to grab a beer from. The reason for my low star rating is a couple of things. The parking situation here is horrible. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and after two parking lots I had to park at this other non-brewery X parking lot where people were also parking. This was a good five to ten minute walk away. The lines are long even with two spots to get beer inside. With plenty of servers on each one it still took some time. The grass area is very kid friendly so just avoid this area when you are walking back to the seating area since you might get bumped by an unsupervised child. There is also a small cloud of flies here that just looked awful. We ordered a pizza that took sixty minutes. They have only two food trucks trying to serve so many people. More food choices are needed! Lastly, the vibe here is loud. Theres a DJ playing and if the DJ is taking a break then they have a band. We sat in the back to make conversation. This is not your typical brewery and perhaps some people like this atmosphere but it wasn't for me. read more

Recommend down the street by mini golf area or opposite side of street. Get there early! 30 min early. The guards were a bit too friendly. Smoking weed isn't something i think should be normal. Beyond that, full. Get in line for drinks. You need two id's for pitcher. Food vans are okay, pizza was fine. But the Mexican food van was delicious. Overall, 3 time, great decor. What an awesome and unique location. Wish there was a huge open place like this near us in NorCal. The warm fall night was the perfect time to come and have a couple drinks and food with friends and family. Super family friendly and the food trucks were both incredible, one with top notch wood fired pizza and one with Mexican/bbq fusion options. It was also nice that there was security and parking attendants so we knew where to walk/park because the place is massive. Next time we are in the area we'd definitely come back. Great place for indoor/outdoor gatherings or just a small hangout. I've been here for birthdays and for reunions. They do have reservations if you hope to host an event, however I've been here in groups from 12-35 people without reservations. If it's on a weekend or a night when there is a big sports game, it helps to come earlier to claim some tables. They do have ample space. They have a lot of variety of both beer and seltzers for reasonable prices. If you're a seltzer person like me, I recommend the mango peach (~$6). It tasted nothing like alcohol, which is a huge plus for someone who isn't a big drinker. They also sell beer by pitchers (you'll need two IDs to order one). Food wise, they generally have two options: the pizza food truck or the taco food truck. Both surprisingly great choices. For bigger parties, I tend to order the pizzas (~$27-30) to make things easy. I recommend this brewery to others! read more

If you have a big group or want to do a little get together wi to some friends, this is the place to go. I love that they had a variety of food trucks and lots and lots of seating outside and inside. We got the poutine and Birria sandwich which both had a decent portion. Usually I feel like food trucks don't give you a good portion, but it filled us up. The food came out hot and the flavors of each dish was really good. Going in the winter meant it would be slightly chilly at night, but since there were a lot of people around, it didn't feel as cold. I would definitely bring some layers though just in case. One concern I do have is the amount of parking available. We parked in a lot next to it that didn't have any signs because everyone else was parking there. I wish they would make it known that it is okay to park in the lots next to them. DO NOT however park across the street. They do have signs saying no brewery x parking and it mentions that your vehicle could be towed. Just a heads up! read more

My friend told me about this place and it was nothing like she described. She downplayed the venue. Great outdoor space with wood seating and tables everywhere. Close to a water source so it was a little chilly. I was told there were food trucks galore and I was a little bummed to see there were only 4. However, the variety was nice. From pizza to Latin flavors to chicken strips and fried pickles. I had a slice (not sure what it was called but it was good). Very thin just like I like it. Pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño and I think I it had a white sauce. Later, I had chicken strips. . . super salty for me, and my friend had a pulled pork sandwich. She said it was too spicy for her. Not really a fan of beer/seltzers (I know I know), but I still ended up enjoying my night here! It was packed on a Saturday night, but as long as you're with a group of friends, you'll have a great time. It has an outdoor seating with a few food trucks where you'll make your orders as well as a building to order your drinks and to see where the brewery happens. I ordered the Loaded Tots & 12 pc Serrano Buffalo and Chile Limón. The Loaded Tots were a good appetizer! There was an option to add Birria, but they ran out by the time we were next. The 12 pc Serrano Buffalo and Chile Limón was more than enough to share with another person. My favorite was probably the Chile Limón since it was a dry rub with lime, which made the wings crispier! As for the drinks, I got the hardest seltzers as an attempt for a two and done: Jungle Juice & Tropical Peacock. Bad choice. Definitely got a kick out of it, but the taste was not it. If you're not a beer/seltzer lover like me, try going for the lighter versions so you'll at least have a chance to savor it instead. By the end of the night, they were already starting to run out of items so you should watch the time and come a bit earlier to avoid having less options. This place is IMMENSE, with an enormous outdoor patio that happened to be hosting a craft market the day we visited--not sure if it's every Sunday, but it made for a lively atmosphere. You order inside, where there's more places to hang, and TVs. There are several different bathroom locations, which is good, considering all the people that were there. Since this was our last stop, I just had a light beer--the X-Lite. Nice and refreshing, no complaints. Their beer selection isn't huge or terribly adventurous, but it seemed they do it right. It was my first time coming to Brewery X. Friday night at around 9pm. It was a busy night, however, we were excited to meet our friends to celebrate a 21st birthday. Being crowded in the parking lot, we saw a security guard that we thought was waving to help us out. We were unfortunately wrong:(. When we approached him, we were met with disrespect and an attitude of you should not be here. He was so unwelcoming it made us just leave. Being a local, I have been wanting to come to Brewery X for some time now.
